I actually have a fine art degree and I do paintings (mostly oil) and mixed media works influenced by skydiving. I have shown in a couple galleries her in the indianaopolis area (including lamp, green gallery, n-style, nikky blaine's (martini bar) and the stutz building. Although my works may be a little more costly than a poster, it may be jsut what you are looking for to adorn those blank walls. email me if you want more info (just to give you an idea the prices range from $100-$3500) depending on size and my own attachment to the pieces... -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

i HOPE MY RIGGER DOES IT:):) I do swap canopies from time to time and (knock on wood) havent biffed in the dirt, so I usually let my rigget do it....Ill prob start a little more often now though..this post has peaked my interest -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

well, I have always wanted to BASE (before I became a skydiver) and now I want to, but I dont as well. I want to because of the thrill and adrenaline rush, but dont because of all of the dangers involved... (not only physical, but if my wife found out she would kill me). I think it would be something I would do once or twice (or a full day) but not something that I would do consistantly... perhaps I should jsut make the trip to BD and see what its all about first had... looking to do my first BASE JUMP....I currently have 365 skydives, with no base gear though... I dont really know any base jumpers in my area, and I dont really want to have a high risk (of getting caught)....I am in the mid-west (IN) and jsut wondering where a good place to start to look might be... I could always wait until bridge day, but I am not completely sure I want to do it, and would like allot more information on when where how etc before I made the plunge.. any ideas? -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

we always call the shadow dogs. if you are in the right spot you can see it in free fall in the plane and under canopy.. with the way rainbows actually work (the fragmenting of light) they will always be on the opposite side of the sun from you (hence you can never reach the end of one) but when in the air and the prism has a full canvass (not being cut off by the ground which is the "usual" way we see rainbows) then you can go thru it...looks like it, but as soon as you go thru it its gone because with the way water refracts light to form the prism effect you can only see it from the side the light source is comming from.... pretty cool to see huh??? I used rip stop nylon for the tube with a copper tube bent in a round shape for the base of it then I took one of those fanoodle things (like in a swoop course) and cut it all the way lencth wise and wrapped that around the copper (so it would cusion if it was dropped) use a double seam all the way up (I used a combination of two seams in a streight stich formation and a zig zag on top of it and lofded the top 3x over with a seam at each fod with about 5 seams on the last fold (If you dont it will come apart) the handle I used was from another freefly tube which is a chain with a plasic tube covering it... email me with questions if you would like... -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I love my tube, but make sure you get some instruction from someone who has jumped one before going out there for yourself...there are a few do's and dont's that you will want to know before jumping it... no, but that would be one less "poor" freeflyer and one much better one to take their place.. sorry dide, but that means you're out:):):)! anyways...too bad I wasnt out there last weekend I would like to have seen malibu... but I did get my coach so thats cool.. if yopu are "D" arched you will most likely nd up on your back... if you find yourself back flying arch slightly then streighten your body out...when you arch reach backwards with your arms this should help put youin the hd position.. it shouldnt take much to get there, but it will take alot to stay there when learning.. good luck! -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.
