    I am not aware of a policy in place that REQUIRES a dz to have a first response person available and I don't think it would be feasible. Not quite sure I understand your situation. From what I have seen in the past at dz's, if they didn't have medical training they ususally didn't get involved unless its to sit with the injured person until trained medical arrived. Now with an ankle injuries that don't appear to be life threatening, we generally move people and drive them to the better hospital - at their request. Generally there is usually someone trained in first aid at the dz though and the fire dept usually doesn't take much time to get there.     Airtran flys cheap to Atlanta and a few other places out of Memphis. But other than that Northworst Airlines has the majority of Memphis Int'l. Cordova - Very close to a big mall and many many many other stores. When I first moved here in 1997, I lived in Cordova. There is ALOT more out there now than there was when I lived there. Unless you like alot of traffic (30-45 minutes to go 10 miles) and/or your work is in that area, I would choose a different place, but they do have more new apartments than most other areas.     Hi and Welcome to Tennessee. I jump at WTS. I live in the county next to Shelby (Memphis). There are several golf courses in the area. My office is located on the Southwind Golf Course. (get your company to become a member). We (my and my hubby) don't go out much because we have a hot tub and feel no need to leave the house too often. Anyway, Drakeshelby (kevin) or Bmcd308 (Brent) would better know what to do. River Kings Hockey is suppose to be pretty good. I've never been to a game YET. In the summer the Redbirds games are pretty fun. We can give you a better lowdown on the place once you get over here. Looking forward to meeting you.     Does anyone else find it really disturbing that these TSA "officials" have more rights to grope you than your doctor does? I'm flying home for x-mas. If security becomes a problem (like the gropping), I will probably not fly and just call 911 and tell them I was sexually assaulted. It may be a little harsh, and I haven't had a problem to date really with the TSA people, but this gropping (aka molesting) of passengers is too extreme.     IMO, the reviews of dz are pretty accurate for each circumstance, BUT when staff member review their dz, you are not going to get an accurate review, it will obviously be biased.     Yes I have, on several occasions. I am aware of all the documents involved and how they came to be in John's possession. Then why do you keep asking if we know which documents. You made it appear that you didn't know which documents we are all referring to and that we are all just making this up. The fact still remains that he violated the trust of the members by doing what he did. His actions cost me money as a member of the USPA. I would have much rather seen that money spent on something productive and useful to skydiving instead of his ego. He does not have my best interest as a skydiver at heart.     First off it shouldn't matter what documents were release, the facts are DESANTIS released them against in rules of the USPA. Desantis gave the incident report to the plantiffs attorney. After 30 days he was suppose to destroy his copy. He purposely did not comply. I'm pissed! Check out the BOD minutes for the meeting he was slapped him on the wrist. Since you have no problem with Desantis and his actions, YOU can pay the legal bill. I will expect my check in the mail!     I agree with you Dave. Its alot like employees doing reviews of their dz (employer) without being biased. But part of the problem is one person's definition of sponsorship. I personally do not think someone who is getting a free piece of equipment is going to tell me that xyz company is really better but this was free so I jump it and as long as I push their equipment I will get free equipment. No he did not catch this in the air - he wouldn't be breathing right now if had even tried, cause if he would have tried that little stunt and survived, I would have killed him later.     I noticed on a review of a dropzone that they were reviewed by an employee of the dropzone. I don't think they can really give a unbiased review of their place of employment.     not to sound rude or anything but wouldn't it make sense to give them to younger people who may live about 40 years instead of someone who might only like 5 more months? I kinda implied the same thing to the people at work except with the the concept of "they are saving them for all the unemployed people". Instead industries across the board are going to loose millions of dollars because of lack of flu shots because employed people are not the right age to receive one.     People who make comments like that are the ones that should be fixed. That was a James Hart comment. I suppose you are all for getting rid of the poverty and welfare gene too. I don't want children and I shouldn't have to have surgery or stop having sex with my husband. Abortion should not be used as birth control. Many people are actually responsible when it comes to their sex lives. Now back to the more important things the seals. I hope they slaughter the people that did that.
