That's good to know. I'm flying out to Illinois on May 31st to my brother's house, will go to Skydive Chicago and I think Chicagoland skydiving. I have my cypress card and printed out Delta's policy on "sport parachutes". Am I missing anything! If it's like the DMV, (You can bring with you 50 forms ect... and 50 will be useless exept for the one you don't have!) I'm screwed

Would I be considered a pain in the ass if I called a manufacturer to check on the status of a container I ordered? I'm going on a trip at the end of the month and I would like to take my new container with me.

It's a pd 193 was made in jan 99. I didn't get a manual with it. I got it through a gear store that may have had it in stock. I was just out off student status and to new to realize to check on any of those things. I was thinking of calling my rigger since he just repacked it last week. there's a chance he may remember what it had. Ya think?

I ordered a new container last week. On the order form it asks for your canopy sizes and lines. I assumed that the reserve had dacron. Come to find out that pd reserves can have either type. I don't know what it has since I bought it and it was packed before I had a chance to see them. I just had it repacked and don't want to open it up to see. any advice on what to do? Would a difference in line type be that crucial in the reserve pack volume?..

I have a tri 210. Nice canopy. Mine opens in 500-600 feet. It doesn't slam me but it has a little snap just at the end of the opening. Just the way it is.

I see what you mean about venting, but I too would look past it. I felt I had to say something. I had restaint. I could have replyed by bashing them, but didn't.

In the forum rules, It states "no personal attacks". But I have seen some replies to posts that personally attack our country! Like calling it an Illegal war, waged by an unelected president. This bothers me a little but I can accept it coming from an American citizen expressing their opinion. I however can't accept it coming from a non American from another country just bashing us! You can attack me but don't attack my country! Should we allow this to go on? Maybe those non americans should get warnings for personal attacks, because when you attack my country, I take it personally! I served in the USMC in Operation Desert Storm. It didn't matter if I supported it or not. As a US troop I had to do as I was ordered to do. Nobody likes war! Especially the troops who have to live with the fact that they might not come home.
