Has anyone used internet dating sites? Which ones? How successful were they in finding you a date? My brother met his Russian wife on one. They had never met in person when she left her country, family, job, and condo to come to the states to marry my brother. All of my brother's family and friends warned him about what a foolish thing he was doing. We were all convinced that she was just using him. They have been married for six years now. She has obtained her U.S. citizenship, and they are the most happily-married couple that I have ever seen. It's so cute to watch them together.

Well except for reading a book twice.... that is just odd! Quote I reread the sentences that contain misspellings twice... not the whole book! But I'll agree that I'm odd. And I use that trait to my advantage in my work.

Yes, I'm one of those people that misspellings bother. But, I don't usually correct people. I've never been able to read a book without noting the errors. It distracts me from understanding what is being said. I have to read it twice... once for errors and once for meaning. If I reread one of my own posts, and I notice an error, I will edit it. If I quote someone in a reply to a post, I'll correct what they wrote. And if I'm not sure how to spell a word, I'll either use a different word or look up the spelling in the dictionary. I'm anal... Have you ever paid cash for a brand new car?

...And while I'm not making a car payment, I'm taking that extra money and investing/saving it for the next car. I've got enough saved up for another, but I don't need one yet. That's what I do. I make car payments to myself every month. It is automatically taken out of my checking account and put into a money market account. My current car has 106K miles on it, and I have enough for another, but I'll drive this one until it turns into dust. I don't buy new cars though. They depreciate too quickly. It took me a while to figure out what you meant... My first thought was candy bars???... I was a skydiver for over a year before I could get anyone to take me to a bar. Finally, Craig Gerard of Arizona Airspeed showed me how to put a lime in a Corona at a wind tunnel camp. Bar hopping is not on my short list of things to do... ...a company buy-out left me with some good money in the bank. So I took a year and a half off of work after the shut-down, and spent it traveling around the country, hiking and camping. I wish I could do that the rest of my life... I can't imagine taking a week and a half off much less a year and a half.
