My best friend gave me that nickname before she died. She said I get things done. It's the only nickname anyone has ever given me. I put it on my license plate during her final illness to honor her. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

Weren't we just TALKING about a cut away and the free bag and pilot chute? Good job! Yeah, I just couldn't wait until I saw you to cut away... What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

Glad you'r O.k. too - just curious, was this your 1st cut? I always wonder how I'm going to react when I have my 1st. You seemed to have a pretty calm response. No... it was my second. That's what makes this one so special. The first one was drama from start to finish. This time I was so proud of myself for handling everything as well as could be expected... even when I couldn't pull my reserve handle out and the reserve canopy toggles wouldn't release immediately. I had absolutely no fear and didn't stop trying stuff until it worked. Practicing emergency procedures often and muscle memory saved me. I'd be jumping today if my second rig were here already.

Your evil!! Hey... don't mess with a woman who is protecting her babies... What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

I have done this too, though I feel bad that the poor little fly is going to die a slow death...or do you think they are dead before they hit the vacum cleaner bag Oh, I spray the hose with Raid first. The vacuum cleaner bag becomes a wasp gas chamber. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

I prefer the vacuum cleaner hose. I had a swarm of wasps in my house one day, and I sucked 'em all up. It was kind'a fun getting them in mid air.

on a cutaway yesterday... I was jumping with Guy Wright. On the last jump of the day we did five points on a fairly difficult 11-way. Woo Hoo! I deployed and looked up to something I'd never seen before. Several lines were criss crossed all the way up. It looked like shoe laces that were missing several holes. Thought to myself "Nope... can't land that." The main landed by the runway. The D-bag by a building. People had them back to the hangar before I got there. The only thing I lost was the cutaway handle. The reserve was due for a repack this month anyway. No big deal... Instead of packing, I was filing my fingernail. I can't wait to jump again next weekend. Darn, I'm good... What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

Fitted Sheets--Does anyone *really* fold them after washing?
JENNR8R replied to waltappel's topic in The Bonfire
I can pack a parachute with the greatest of ease--round or square. But fitted sheets? No way!!!... How the fuck can a person actually fold one of those fuckers?!!! Practice... the same way you became proficient with packing a parachute. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday. -
Every time I'm out on my deck, my neighbor's dog barks. Should I...
JENNR8R replied to sartre's topic in The Bonfire
Make friends with it. It's guarding its territory. If the little yapper doesn't see you as a threat, then it will stop barking at you. Giving it food goes a long way to a dog's heart. Be sure to ask the owners what food is okay to give it. They may even provide you with the treats. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday. -
How Do You Avoid Landing Beyond Your Target?
JENNR8R replied to JENNR8R's topic in Safety and Training
If I'm going in just a little over the peas and want to hit them, I do some harness shifting to briefly alter how my canopy flies and make it sink in a little more on the final. Quote This is the kind of response that I was hoping to get more of. Things people do that I'd never heard of before. Could you explain exactly what you do that makes this effective? I can't picture it yet... -
Shoot, I'd think it would be great to walk around sportin' a hickey. That would mean that I wasn't too old to be gettin' some lovin.' What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

That looks like the guy who pied me for my 100th on Jump 164. Hummmmm.

My best guess is that they are some kind of balloon. I wonder if you could take some of the glow-in-the-dark ones on a night jump? so you put things in them for like water proofing and finding in the dark and such? Maybe they are used for night swooping???

That wasn't part of the dare. Shoot, I didn't even know that there were different kinds of condoms since the only relationship I have ever had was with my husband. We didn't use them.

piishy!!! Don't swear at your Mom! Now be a good boy and send me a roll. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

You are a good boy, piishy. I wouldn't expect any of my sons to tell me. Although I did need my first son to tell me what that curious hand signal they use at my DZ meant. He called it a "shocker." What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

How Do You Avoid Landing Beyond Your Target?
JENNR8R replied to JENNR8R's topic in Safety and Training
If you see that you will be landing beyond your intended target on your final approach, what SAFE and effective ways do you use to avoid it? What have you seen others do that is NOT safe? What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday. -
Okay, someone dared me to start this thread. No problem... So which is your favorite kind? What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

You're the only one. Unfortunately, she's not... I figured it out from the inference. But, I've never heard of the term before either. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

My KitchenAid mixer... I love to bake, and I've made hundreds of wedding cakes with it. I bought it 27 years ago, and it's still works just like it did when it was new. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

I've heard that in some other countries that is exactly what they use their left hand for. And they don't even wash it afterwards. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

I went to an office bathroom today that used one-ply toilet paper. Why does anyone buy one-ply toilet paper? You have to use twice as much so you're not saving any money. Too often it feels like candy wrappers. It's especially annoying on those holders that won't turn. I don't care how poor I become. I'm only buying two-ply. Wow! I've been called a liar three times in this thread. No one has ever called me a liar before. I'm feeling so... so... accepted. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.
