Agree. Full autos without allot of practice are almost useless in hitting the target. I've shot about 2000 rounds of .223(5.56) out of M-16s It took about 1500 rounds to hit a silhouette target three times out of 10 at about 30 yards. I had about the same results with a 9mm sub gun. They are fun to shoot but substantially a waste of ammo unless you're supplied with endless ammo and training from uncle Sam. Its surprising that the Pelosi attacker didn't have a gun. But it was California. Obviously all the pro-gun debaters will discount that.
-
The attacker was looking specifically for Nancy. He asked for her by name. Just more political violence in the state where media and the tribes encourage such ideas.

Yeah he is a twit. A brilliant engineering twit. But one just the same.

Every couple months Joe runs out of his favorite bourbon or scotch. Then gets pessimistic about the whole situation. Thankfully he manages to refuel and the sun shines again. Long before the world needs the last barrel of oil scientists and engineers will have substitutes. Just as the steam engine and coal were replaced. Oil and gasoline will fall by the wayside. In the last week reports of global warming reaching 2.5 degrees celsius above normal. (A new UN report says we're on track for 2.5 degrees of warming, not the target 1.5. We need to reduce emissions by 45%, but we're headed for a 10% increase). Along with suggestions that Putin and his war. Will speed up the transitions to renewables.

What were the ex-CEO and executives doing that you disagreed with? They did a fantastic job for shareholders in the price they realized for a money losing operation. If you think they ran a social media company into the ground. You'd be right.

And you're stronger for it. ....Oh well at least he's gone. ....er at least he's out of office.

The FSB brain trust isn't totally stupid. They look at Merica and see what works. Why should Russia re-invent the wheel? 23 Percent of Republicans Agree ‘Satan-Worshipping Pedophiles’ Run Government: Poll

No we all need more efficient A/C. Put Joe in charge and mandate Caravan Blackhawk conversions as a DZ requirement.

There is that defeatist attitude again. As the worlds reserve currency there is still room. But US politicians will have to get serious soon. Isn't the whole world just Murica? Rich nations will cope with water and energy issues. Poor ones won't and their people will have to emigrate. Well sort of. America is facing a persistent drought in the west. Immigration from countries dealing with climate change and poor fiscal decisions. The debt is manageable but will hinder freedom of actions in the future. Covid, war, debt and recession is punishing the third world. Issues of which have been largely ignored because of the current war. Climate action has been sidetracked because of these issues.

The past decade has seen more than 50 US coal companies fall into bankruptcy and over 100 gigawatts (GW) of coal capacity either retired or slated for closure. Over the past seven years,(to 2021) "there have been 274 oil and gas producer bankruptcies. In the same period, 330 oilfield services and midstream companies have filed for bankruptcy, bringing the combined North American industry total to more than 600 industry bankruptcies involving over $321 billion in secured and unsecured debt. "That is about a third of a trillion for those with a MBA. Why does Brent always pick the worst performing option?

Well you're not the first person to have a bad experience with contractors. Not that that helps you.

Given that BoJo and the UK got their asses kicked during the Brexit negotiations. i.e. all of the benefits of EU free trade would benefit the UK but without the regulatory hassles. That UK conservatives wanted to reopen negotiations yet again. Mr.Sunak will have his work cut out for him trying to keep a co-coalition together. It seems as if eating cake in the public inn and leaving w/o paying. Is part of the conservative DNA. ...Sounds like conservatives and Liberals over here. At least the pound has gone up in the last two days.
-
"And we set out a vision for a low-tax, high-growth economy that would take advantage of the freedoms of Brexit." From Liz Truss resignation speech. So still peddling to those with heads in the sand. It would be fine for the conservatives to say that reduced economic growth is a small price to pay. For the freedom from euro-regs. Freedom from Brussels. But nobody can ignore the costs to British exporters. The cost to British consumers. Unfortunately denying that you made a mistake is a part of human nature. i.e. Putin, trump, etc. and our resident troll. BTW is he on a time out again?
-
Nah it doesn't have limits. Sometimes the real narrative just slips out from the propaganda mouthpieces. He will go to the Russian version of rehab. Then end up back online later. Soon our troll will be along and say there was a mistake in the teleprompter. That they really wanted the Ukrainian children to have a warm sauna. To take off the chill off winter. Then a refreshing dip in the river. Just like they do in Finland.
-
OK but aren't British citizens to blame as well? They bought the bill of goods called Brexit and voted for it. Now the actual rubber meets the road details are known. A 3-4.5% drag on GDP that will be an anchor on the economy for decades. It's not like a King's commission has been ordered to delve into the lies of Brexit.

"A chilling new segment on Russia's state-funded TV Channel Russia Today (RT) saw a Kremlin propagandist arguing in favour of drowning Ukrainian children in rivers and burning them in their own homes. RT's Director of Broadcasting Anton Krasovsky suggested that any child who believes their country is being occupied by Russia needs to be thrown into a fast river and drowned alive. His other suggestion was to put the children into wooden houses, nail the doors shut and burn them alive. "They should have been drowned in the Tysyna River, right there where the ducklings swim," he says with a smirk on his face. "Just drown those children. Drown them." Typical Putin loving rhetoric about the special operation. So where are the real Nazi's?

Personal partying i.e. Partygate is what started this mutiny..I have it on well founded sources. That republican leaders are drinking excellent Bourbon. Discussing lying to parliament, partying, treating party money as if its your own. Wondering why it took so long to kick the British out of America with uppity standards like that.
-
Well with Rishi Sunak as the new PM. Where will the rest of the commonwealth and the EU get its laughs?
-
You had been warned. It's like when you look at a horse in the pasture. Because its acting odd. Walking in circles. You might step on some fresh manure. So the flies will be pursuing you thereafter. They will bother and harass you. All the swatting doesn't help. When you get in your truck there is still that stink.
-
Probably only the third or fourth time that i would agree with you. "demilitarize Russia via Ukraine" would seem to imply a loss of Ukrainian lives. Which should not be part of the equation.
-
Pay for any loss to foreign corporations who had to sever commercial operations. Plus pay for loss of life, physical and psychological injury. Including a hefty amount for punitive damages.

It's consistent with how the anti-science, anti-government, views develop among certain political groups in the US. As well as those who like to espouse anti MSM views.

Yes, affirmative, 10-4, oui, si, jawohl.

He farms out his thinking to FOX, the GOP, Truth Social, the FSB, etc. So you don't have to worry about him using you.

Germany tried this in England in WW2. Didn't work then. The US tried this during the Vietnam war. Didn't work then. The US tried this during the Afghanistan war. Didn't work then. If your name is Slim and you never studied history. Doesn't comprehend now.
