Because trump says and does what his followers get mocked, prosecuted and ridiculed for doing. Living vicariously through trump. Their dreams and prayers get answered. -

See above. I'm with Winsor on this one. -
Yes Most westerners are flabbergasted by this. Its as odd a US gun laws.

President Biden has come out suggesting another assault weapons ban. Are you going to stock up on some more before the price goes up?

The same thing happened when Iran went off the rails. US made F-14s were its most advanced A/C and the US stopped supplying parts. "If war breaks out, American forces likely will attempt to secure Gulf air space by destroying or suppressing Iran’s air forces. The regular Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force and the air wing of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps militia together operate around 700 aircraft. The IRIAF’s 1970s-vintage F-14s could be U.S. forces’ first targets. According to a survey by Flight Global, the Iranian air force in 2019 operates around 24 F-14 Tomcats from a batch of 79 of the Grumman-made, swing-wing fighters that Iran acquired in the mid-1970s before the Islamic revolution. The U.S. Navy retired its last Tomcat in 2006. But with its long range and powerful radar, the F-14 remains one of the world’s most capable fighters. For that reason, the Americans for many years have been trying to ground the Ayatollah’s F-14s. Sixty-eight of Iran’s F-14s survived the Iran-Iraq War that ended in 1988. Sanctions that the United States imposed after the 1979 revolution prevented Iran from openly acquiring spare parts for the heavyweight fighters."

U.S. regulators say Silicon Valley Bank customers will be made whole

IMO its more of a scattergun approach. Occasionally he hits the mark. Then immediately misses the broadside of a barn. -

Would that depend on who is buying? -

Ok, ok everybody cool down. Here is a story that makes Brent and Joe each look like rocket surgeons. So the Saudi national bank had one of the prince's buddies appointed as president. The Saudi bank invested and lost over $26 billion dollars in the 10% investment they made in Credit Suisse. About two weeks ago he shoots his mouth off that the Saudi bank wouldn't extend any more help to Credit Suisse. He could had said nothing or something positive. It was his comments that started the bank run. He just lost his job. No word yet if MBS will have his head lopped off in the public square. -

About 1:30 A.M. today. trump is having dreams about his "perp walk" and life in the big house. Time to make some death threats on prosecutors, potential jurors and others who may have crossed him. From his media post on Truth Social " “What kind of person,” Mr. Trump wrote of Mr. Bragg, “can charge another person, in this case a former president of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting president in history, and leading candidate (by far!) for the Republican Party nomination, with a crime, when it is known by all that NO crime has been committed, & also that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for our country?” “Why & who would do such a thing? Only a degenerate psychopath that truely hates the USA!” Well he at least knows how to describe the current state of the GOP. -
IMO the logical line of attack for Ukrainians would be from their current positions directly north of Mariupol. Then attack south to Mariupol. That distance is about 50 miles. Then use the recently supplied JDAM-ER bombs to take out the Putin bridge...er Crimean bridge. This would cut off the entirety of the Crimean peninsula and Russian positions west of that line of attack. Russia could then only supply their forces by sea or air. Presumably Russian prisoners have heard about the survival rates for Wagner contractors. Thus limiting the resupply of fodder from Russian prisons. Agree. From an interview with Ukrainian tankers: " “They are about to go into battle and they are laughing like horses,” Poltava said. “Morale, psychology is OK. They are tired, but they still have a sense of humor.” The tank unit spends most days lying in wait to ambush Russian troops and engaging them in direct fire fights. “It’s hunting the hunter,” a tank commander, Svyatosha, 38, said with a grin. “It’s the best job,” he said. “They feed you, dress you, give you an expensive tank, fuel it, give you ammunition. And they don’t charge you money for that. What’s not to like?”

They are continuing to make very small gains. They are pouring more men and artillery into the area. Losing more troops and equipment every day. Wagner leads the way with army following up. It seems as if losses for Putin have declined as have the use of large assaulting forces has slowed. For a while two weeks ago Ukrainian resupply could not travel into Bakhmut without suffering losses. That seems to have been taken care of now. Through the destruction of Russian artillery and widening the pocket.

Just regular.lawyering here. Objectively it would be called counseling perjury. -
Maybe republicans will update the government seal. By removing the arrows and placing the AR-15 on instead?
-
Thats just plain UN-American. Soon the AR-15 will be the . "National Gun of the United States,” positioning it alongside official symbols like the bald eagle and Francis Scott Key’s “Star Spangled Banner” in representing the U.S." "The bill was unveiled this week by gun store owner Rep. Barry Moore of Alabama. It has been cosponsored by Representatives Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado), Andrew Clyde (R-Georgia) and George Santos (R-New York)." February 24, 2023

America should be getting safer every day. Its now been 42 months straight where US new gun sales have run over 1,000,000 a month. Its only a matter of time till mass shootings slow down. Which is currently at a one a day pace.

His experience with the system was the likely foundation for his personal contempt and disregard for the rule of law. As always there are independent rankings of the functioning of countries legal systems. For criminal justice: Norway #1 Canada #12 UK #19 US #30 For the year(s)2017-18 The US ranked #20th. So it has fallen ten places over the last five years. Russia #123 For the Year(s0 2017-18 Russia ranked #97th So with a positive outlook Putin has done a better job engineering corruption in Russia's criminal justice system. Over the last five years than trump and the GOP. -

According to trump himself on a Truth Social posting. trump will be arrested on Tuesday. He stated that George Soros is responsible for this whole investigation. So his elier claims that the Dem's were responsible must have been one more lies. It should be interesting to see ho this is spun on FOX. trump should be so proud. Arrest warrants for both himself and his bosom buddy Putin, in the same week. -
So a happy story then!

Hand it to them. Let the Chi-com government steal commercial and military secrets. Paid for by US research commercially and from US defense budgets. Then buy those same commercial Chinese goods on credit. So they can afford those expensive knock-off military products. Oh what a tangled web we weave: "President Biden’s daughter-in-law Hallie Biden was among several family members who pocketed payouts after a Hunter Biden associate received a $3 million wire payment from a Chinese energy company, a House committee revealed Thursday. Biden family members received more than $1 million in payments over a three-month period after the Chinese wire transfer cleared, according to a memo detailing the payments issued by the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Several payments were also sent to companies associated with Mr. Biden’s brother James Biden and son Hunter Biden in addition to Hallie Biden. An unknown account identified only as “Biden” also received transfers from the company owned by Hunter Biden associate Rob Walker in the months after the $3 million wire cleared in 2017." -
