Real men put their country above their own financial interests. Because they want their children to live in a better place. T.R. was an American republican. He put America first and thats why he initiated all the national parks he left as his legacy. Real men don't target weak and vulnerable social groups as people to be attacked and marginalized. Its fine to admit you're wrong. But when your core beliefs are only about self.....change.

Just another legacy of trump. Now overflow wetland areas that provide relief and storage when large rainfall events take place can be built on. Then the builders and developers can shift the flooding liabilities to the US government. i.e. the taxpayer. As usual conservatives want laws to make money off the expense of the public."Brett Kavanaugh, one of the conservative justices, sided with the three liberals to warn that the court will “leave some long-regulated adjacent wetlands no longer covered by the Clean Water Act, with significant repercussions for water quality and flood control throughout the United States”. Politics above science as usual in America. Biden and the stupid liberals need to get their heads out of their asses. Need to get two more SC justices on the bench when they control the senate and the house again. While republicans invent WOKE enemies to galvanize support by their base. Liberals need to take aim at activist judges and courts.

Because travel outside the US may expose conservatives to other yucky cultures. Everyone knows that war against any culture outside a US, right wing, Christian culture, is necessary..

Keep in mind that for most on the right facts don't matter. The echo chamber repeats the ugly messaging. Even when it attacks what would otherwise be a hero.

The disconnect between anti-woke propaganda where the constitution has been kicked around and used like a football. Used to beat up minorities. As compared to an understanding of the constitution and what the fight for freedom really means. Freedom is not the majority or power over minorities. Its majorities and minorities equal and respectful Even when the message from the other side seems offensive.

Are you sure this isn't fake news? Texas republicans?? Surely there are no limits for them.

As I looked through the list I glanced at the bottom and my first thought was that Brent would be better than trump-DeSantis. Then Howdy Doody jumped up and saved the day. trump has single handily managed to drive every moderate out of the running. What happened to Cheney? If the current list of candidates managed to get in power. The US would look like Erdogan's Turkey within a couple years. Imagine the debt explosion with another trump or DeSantis in office.

It appears as if the republican presidential nomination campaign is in full swing. For anyone who thinks there is a rational player among them. I use the term player because they are all playing to the trump MAGA base. There was a recent story about Jan 6th and the recent convictions. DeSantis has come out and stated that as far as he is concerned pardons for convicted Jan. 6th insurrectionists is a given. The fist thing he will do as president is to fire the FBI director and initiate a full investigation about the "weaponization of the justice system". So anti-woke, anti- law enforcement, well trump squared. Here are The Hill's rankings of where the contenders stand right now. In order of popularity. Former President Trump. ... Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. ... Former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley. ... Sen. Tim Scott (S.C.) ... Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin. ... Former Vice President Pence. ... Vivek Ramaswamy. ... Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Yes. A native Indian tried to sell me a SKS for $80 once and when i hesitated because I thought it was suspiciously low. He quickly reduced the price to $60. Needless to say I didn't buy it. In Canada native Indians like the .303 WW 2 rifles because they have rimmed cartridges and strong ejectors. These are very useful because keeping them clean isn't a priority and they sometimes put too much oil on them. Which doesn't work so well in the winter. The Canadian Rangers recently got new Tikka rifles.

Well in GOP world that could not be the case. There is an election in two years and trump has promised to pardon most if not all of his little storm troopers. He may need them again if further insurrections are necessary. i.e. if he disagrees with USSC rulings. Till then, chalk one more up for the rule of law in America.

I assume you're talking about PCP air rifles because a springer1250 fps(muzzle) rated with a 14 grain pellets then loaded with a 40 grain slug won't do over 925 fps. I don't have any personal experience with PCP air rifles. I'd disagree with the first sentence.Break action springer air rifles are more than 85% of all air rifles sold. There are .177 cal air rifles and .22 cal. I've had two break action .177 and they use .177 cal pellets. While the .22 use 22 cal pellets. The Weihrauch springer .177 that i currently own is fairly high power and will bury a 12 grain pellet in a solid ash board(1000 fps at muzzle). At 60 yards the same pellet will bounce off that same ash board. Cabelas air rifle pellets.
-
Well it could have been a very high end air rifle or CO2 rifle using slugs. Here is a more detailed version. It appears as if the projectile went through a double wall vinyl fence before striking the child..Most high powered .22 cal air rifles top out at 900 f.p.s. with a 10 grain pellet. Which in countries other than the US would likely require a firearms license. Hopefully the parents will sue his dumb ass off.

Its become apparent that when masses of GOP come together. A new group-think of idiocy develops and if nominations are the goal. Absolute idiocy is a certainty.

In Russia state TV wants to persuade viewers that Ukraine and the west want to emasculate Russian men. Make them all gender neutral. Frequently nuclear weapons are suggested as an appropriate response for such a outrage against Russian manhood. In America for the MAGA right, beer could be the woke avenue to destroy the testosterone of American men. To suggest that a beer company, a shoe company, or another business. May want to support the free right to choose your own lifestyle. Is an attack on the flag itself. White, straight, pickup driving, gun toting men. Next thing the liberals will suggest is that there are gay cowboys.. BH its all very confusing isn't it? Have you found any LGBT Nazis hiding around you lately?

Belief in man made climate change declining

Many gun loving right wingers dream about survivalist living in a apocalyptic world. Where their AR-15s make them relevant, for once. -

Some in SC have been far to hard on Brent. Yes he cherry picks stories but when FOX and the right wing media pummels his brain with misinformation. Its just very difficult for Brent to be objective. So the facts in Germany: Germany pledges US$2.2 billion to Green Climate Fund, on May 3rd. Money to help other countries meet climate objectives. Then three days later "Ramping up renewable power production rather than subsidies is the key to lower electricity prices for Germany's energy-hungry industry, Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Saturday, in an apparent dig at proposals by his government's economy minister." "The German government insists that protecting the climate is one of its central concerns. It has said it wants to slash greenhouse gas emissions by at least 65% from 1990 levels by 2030 and has plans in place to sharply boost renewable energy production while phasing out fossil fuels." For Brent, 2030 is like seven years from now. Imagine Brent.... phasing out coal....oil....gas....diesel and even nat gas. -
You do know he is a liar don't you? He is a former convict himself and the Russian government has stated that only 6,000 have been killed up to last January. Besides,"'No Body, No Payment': Wagner Mercenary Deaths Being Hidden From Families Back In Russia" and when there is a body they don't even pay for funeral expenses! Not even one ruble. Oh well everyone knows life in Russia really is cheap. I wonder how Slim is making in his new deployment out in Ukraine.

The more i think about this the more i agree with this. The gun culture is just too embedded in America. Hence more carnage in elementary schools will continue. Disagree. Only 25% of republicans are devoted to a gun vote. With a few democrats, like yourself similarly inclined. I don't think this is the complete answer but its a start. Mental health, bla, bla, bla, limiting the sale of "assault weapons" to 21 years, etc. Is all window dressing. To date there has still not been a real US national debate on the issue. Where republicans and democrats really hammer out serious legislation. Hence my reasoning in my first response above. When the UK, NZ Australia, Canada announced serious gun restrictions. There was no rioting in the streets. No governments or political parties suffered defeats on those issues. Any suggestion that the aforementioned countries don't have hunters or gun lovers is wrong.
-
So one red herring. But there is: American Pulverizer Gun Shredder systems utilize our TRS Series Low-Speed High-Torque Shredder Joe, you understand the issues as does BIGUN yet you have never come up with a real meat on the bones solution. For about a hundred billion. or 1/8th the annual cost of the US defense budget. Every gun could be bought up and destroyed. I like guns as much as you do, But there are in fact solutions. What are yours? and no B.S. window dressing around the edges. No 'performance theater.'
-
Well in the American fashion the gun lobby worked with the GOP to give immunity to gun manufactures.

Post trump Legal Actions, Including his Enablers
Phil1111 replied to Phil1111's topic in Speakers Corner
"The court filing on Monday argues Mr. Trump’s defamatory statements following the May 9 verdict “show the depth of his malice toward Carroll, since it is hard to imagine defamatory conduct that could possibly be more motivated by hatred, ill will or spite.”...“This conduct supports a very substantial punitive damages award in Carroll’s favor both to punish Trump, to deter him from engaging in further defamation, and to deter others from doing the same,” the filing says." Double damages seem appropriate. When political donors pay your legal fees and fines. I guess the lessons of judicial decisions have less effect when somebody else is paying the bills. So anybody wanna bet that trump shoots his defamatory mouth off yet again? -
Swine!...... Keep your hands off Canada's F-18s. Seriously, Canada will need them because of liberal government bungling, feet dragging and politics. As you may be aware of.Canada has a long history of buying old equipment from allies. "Most Canadians know the sad story of Canada's second-hand submarines. Purchased from Britain in 1998 for a suspiciously low price, the four vessels have spent most of the last fifteen years being refitted and repaired." Word had it is that the UK laughed and laughed that Canadian admirals were so dumb,Its politicians so .gullible. Then Canada bought other used F-18s from Australia. But because of Canadian government bungling and delays Canada won't receive its first F-35 until 2026 and its last F-35 until 2034. So Canada will likely end up with them. In 2016 Canada's F-18s had already reached the end of their service lives with most having 7000 hours. and a useful life of 8000 hours. But we do have $10 daycare now

I think you mean prudent. Certainly if trump had been reelected the story would have been very different. In any event better late than never. What gets seldom mentioned is the endless intelligence that only the US can provide. The latest Russian troop movements and the locations of the best targets behind the lines. Somewhere in a basement in Kiev there are US special forces with laptops. Sitting next to Ukrainian officers who are chatting up the latest opportunity to open up.

The longer the war goes on, the more people realize that Russia is a paper tiger. Skilled at bombing defenseless hospitals, cities and killing civilians. Taking care of injured soldiers will cost Russia billions more. The biggest advantage in the older F-16s for Ukraine is the automatic integration of weapons. AIM-120, JDAM-ER, jamming pods, HARM, etc. will all allow Ukraine to seamlessly defend itself. Its too bad that President Biden was so slow on the step by step arming of Ukraine.
