  1. The list of those who hate war is long: Kim of N. Korea, Putin of Russia, Ali Khamenei of Iran and the US right. The US right takes its lead from those aforementioned leaders. The war mongering countries have helped Ukraine with $200 billion in cash and $150 billion in arms. They are listed here:Ukraine Support Tracker No rational explanation as to why the most 50 developed and richest western countries. Love the war mongering Ukrainian Nazis so much. Unless you want to stick your head into the Putin disinformation/FOX media stream.
  2. There is always two sides to every shooting. In the gun forums: "Woman is shot while attempting to hi-jack a car" In real life: "Man arrested in shooting of two Texas cheerleaders after one mistakenly got into the wrong car" "A man has been arrested after two Texas cheerleaders were shot, one critically, after one of them mistakenly got into the wrong car, according to police and the owner of the gym where they trained. ... the two people shot were cheerleaders who were on their way home from practice. Shearer said the cheerleaders typically carpooled from the Austin area to her gym. On Monday night, she said at least four cheerleaders were on their way back to the Austin area and had to stop at an H-E-B, where some of the members had parked their cars. One of the girls accidentally tried to get into the wrong car, Shearer said. That's when, she said, a "guy got out and they saw that he had a gun. And so they tried to speed off and he shot his gun, like five times or so into the car." In Texas when confronted by a dangerous looking sweaty, White, cheerleader. Its best to empty your magazine and ask questions later. The cheerleaders medical bills had already passed $60k. But hey, the second amendment has costs.
  3. I think he means the lawyers for Dominion under a contingency agreement. Most of these actions have a combined contingency and hourly billing agreement. So the costs between the lawyers and the corporation are shared. Some corporations have legal liability insurance. Where legal costs are covered by an insurer. As a aside: "Staple Street may be the biggest winner. The private equity firm, which currently manages some $900 million, bought a majority stake in the company for just $38.3 million in 2018." Staple street owns Dominion.
  4. Yes. Because lets face it FOX have a very lucrative business model. Its as if Joe became the only DZ in the US! For FOX viewers loyalty is number one and the cash for FOX pours in. They were sitting on $4.4 billion in cash and negotiable securities. Before writing the cheque to Dominion. Look at it this way. Billions are spent each election cycle in the US buying elections. Excuse me, paying for advertising, lobbying etc. FOX tried to help steal an election and it didn't work. But what they got for the $800 million. Don't forget they probably had $20 million in legal fees on top of the settlement. What they got was MORE dedicated viewers. Those viewers don't get news from other sources. They don't want news. They want infotainment.
  5. "As Rupert Murdoch’s Fox Corporation battles to contain the Dominion lawsuit scandal that has engulfed its top executives and stars, another crisis is building in the wings that has the potential to cause further turbulence for the media empire. Smartmatic’s lawsuit against Fox News has attracted only a fraction of the attention garnered by the legal action of Dominion Voting Systems. Yet both firms are suing Fox for defamation related to its coverage of Donald Trump’s stolen-election lie, and both pose a serious threat to Fox’s finances and reputation. In fact, on paper Smartmatic’s suit appears to be the more dangerous. It’s demanding damages of $2.7bn, compared with Dominion’s $1.6bn." Meanwhile for the FOX base. Its lead news coverage is not this settlement. Its: Florida road rage incident leaves two girls shot after dads' stand-your-ground gunfight After all bills have got to be paid. No mention of the settlement whatsoever.
  6. Fox settles with what works in business and life. CASH. $787.5 million Truth in the end, not disclosed. The trial Judge stated that he was proud of the work of both teams of lawyers. That is somewhat obvious because the case was unwinnable for FOX. It was all just a matter of how much cash. FOX goes ahead with lying and pandering to its base. All of which is its business model. Now Dominion can move onto other meat lying on the table: "Dominion Voting Systems has brought defamation lawsuits against several defendants for hundreds of millions of dollars. The company has achieved initial successful court decisions such that the parties can now proceed to discovery. Cases that have reached this stage of litigation include Dominion’s suits against Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and Mike Lindell/My Pillow (news report; court’s denial of motion to dismiss); Patrick Byrne (news report; court’s denial of motion to dismiss); Newsmax (news report; court’s denial of motion to dismiss); and Fox Corporation (news report; text of court’s denial of motion to dismiss). " Possibly trump as well.
  7. These events will give new meaning in the rural areas. When homeowners post signs "Private dead end drive"
  8. Humor/sarcasm is not a part of current FSB bot programing. Its rollout has been delayed by the sanctions on the Nvidia's DGX A100 AI chip by the commerce department. So once the Russian hack of ChatGPT comes out. Once third party supplies of said chip is overcome by smuggling. Slim will sound much more unique and coherent.
  9. Oh hell those shootings happen a couple times every day. "A man in upstate New York was charged with murder on Monday in the killing of a woman who was in a car that mistakenly drove into his driveway, officials said. The woman and the three friends she was with never got out of the car on Saturday night, Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County sheriff, said at a news conference. They were turning around after realizing their error when the man, Kevin Monahan, 65, stepped out of his house, in Hebron, N.Y., and fired at least two shots at the car, the sheriff said. One of the bullets struck the woman, Kaylin Gillis, 20," Event The accused lawyer stated "My preliminary view of this case is that it was a series of errors which resulted in a tragedy,” See just a couple of old fashioned errors. Good thing there is a gun by every front door in case a neighbor or a child drops by.
  10. Well Putin doesn't pay benefits promised to those injured or killed. So bikes are probably behind renos to his Black Sea palace. Which is valued at $1.4 billion USD. Putin's official salary is $124,500 USD in 2021. Of course Slim babbles about corruption in America. Which is the regular line on RTV, FOX Tucker Carlson, etc. In other propaganda news "Dominion v. Fox trial delayed for settlement talks, people familiar with the matter say" WSJ story Courtyard below.
  11. FIFY Yeah we have such accounts even in SC. Obviously DZ.com has made the big time.
  12. Undoubtedly Slim has swallowed the whole pile of RTV Putin droppings. The latest news from Ukraine shows that Wagner forces have been withdrawn from the attempt to encircle Bakhmut. The Wagner forces have either been wounded, captured or killed. It appears as if they are a completely spent force. The Russian military has now taken over the role of recruiting troops from Russian prisons. In the Bakhmut area Wagner forces have been replaced by Russian paratroopers, special forces and regular Russian units. They have control of about 4/5th of the city. Fewer and fewer Russian armored units and vehicles are being seen on the entire front. But a new Russian effort is underway to recruit ordinary Russians. A new law allows e-mail call-ups. So unsuspecting Russians hiding in Turkey could open a e-mail and have received their call-up.The e-mails seem to be targeting liberal groups en-mass. Perhaps Slim will get his as a reward for his loyalty.
  13. "On September 15, 2016, Trump revealed an economic plan which he said would create 25 million new jobs and grow the economy at an annual rate of at least 3.5 percent." At $1000 bucks an hour, two thousand hours a year. trump created five full time jobs for that $10 million. At the rate he's going that should be 30 full time lawyer jobs this year. All those $20 and $40 donations from gullible MAGA supporters. Keeping up the flow of Armani suits and luxury goods. Likely a couple used business jets thrown in for good measure.
  14. In the first three months of this year trump raised $18.8 million. Since his indictment he has raised $15 million. Last year alone trump spent over $10 million on his legal bills. Just another sign that the end of civilization in near.
  15. Well he ain't no rocket surgeon. “I could have been good at school, I just didn’t see any use for it. If people want to study hard to be a doctor or a lawyer that’s great. I had to work at other things: fucking bitches, counting money, how to make money…” (2002) “If you ever wanted to rob a trailer park, do it during a Kid Rock concert. When I hit town, the trailer parks empty out and everyone comes to the show.” (2008) Hardly any wonder MAGA republicans love him. Nor any wonder that he is a regular speaker at NRA conventions.
  16. Together with a stooge font. So a post so obviously a thought, solely designed to be subservient to someone else. Can be awarded as such. i.e. Stooge font: the posts of Slim King :stooge font.
  17. Perhaps Slim can go to the Aberdeen Test Center to whoreship his beloved Russian army and its commander Putin. Slim's troops keep giving everyone gifts including this T-90 to President Biden. The shipping label of said T-90 tank "A gift from the First Guards Army to President Biden" Like most captured Russian equipment. Low mileage, never fired a shot at an enemy. Only used against civilians and their homes.
  18. Weeeeeell There is MTG, Matt Gaetz,Lauren Boebert, etc. A whole new crowd of young republicans. In the mold of MAGA. I completely agree that demographics are not on the side of an old, bigoted, misogynist, GOP. Unfortunately there isn't a new, young, compassionate conservative leadership forming. Where is the new, the next, Adam Kinzinger? The replacement for Liz Cheney?
  19. FIFY Plus they would have to give up its nuclear weapons, agree to hand over all war criminals, prosecute all gangster oligarchs, after instituting a new constitution forsaking aggression. In other Ukrainian news. The released secret documents. State that S. Korea is going to pour a couple million 155mm rounds into the equation. The barrel making foundries will have to make a couple dozen new M777 barrels to go with that.
  20. Agree with all of that. This is a tough forum for conservatives and BIGUN pays for posting conservative ideas.. wolfriverjoe though is a liberal(left of center)with pro gun, pro 2nd views. So dissenters can co-exist with little friction. IMO most anti-conservative leanings are due to the sheer mass of conservative scumbags since 2000. I think the last intellectually honest leader was McCain. Thats not to say that Jeff Flake, Liz Cheney, etc. didn't fight hard for integrity among the GOP. But Liz got the boot and a couple dozen other threw up their hands in disgust.
  21. Then why are they immune to fact? Kidding aside. Conservative views would be welcome if they made relevant statements supported by fact. If they acknowledged the biases of others from their side of the political spectrum. BIGUN comes close but he tends to limit his input to the gun debate. Likely because he gets no other intelligent support form other GOP leaning idealists.
  22. So is Tucker Carlson on FOX. Repeating that a hatred for Washington is a good thing.
  23. Oh mon dieu. Are you suggesting that America is both a justice and culinary wasteland?
  24. Yes, he had to get a patron to buy his mom's home so she could get free renos and save on taxes. Perhaps thats why he vacations in Walmart parking lots. A sad story all around. I wonder if Thomas buys the no-name or the real Kraft KD in the Walmart?
