Everyone outside the district think it was a trump referendum. Those inside have local issues and traditional political leanings which drive their votes.

Alexandria Shooting: Shot heard around the world? [On Topic]

It is done because Nugent constantly calls black people niggers, and called half black half white Obama a subhuman mongrel. Do you disagree that this is overt racism? If so, there's nothing more to say to you, enjoy your fantasy world. If not, is your argument that Nugent might not be a racist, he just plays one on tv? In that case, right back at ya - you don't personally know any of the liberals you're accusing of hate mongering, therefore you don't know that they mean it, therefore there's no problem. And yes, this really does sum everything up. You refuse to accept any reasonable criticism of Nugent because he is on the same side of the aisle as you. You pretend that calling an overt racist a racist is a political ploy because it fits your preconceived notion that all accusations of racism are purely politically motivated. You're blinded by partisanship and unable rationally address the issues you're ranting about. Are you sure he uses the N-word all the time? Or did you just here that from an un-named CNN source? I can say that I have seen him give more to wounded veterans with out any consideration for race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation than any other person I have seen. But I won't deny some of the inflammatory shit he has said either. There is a reason why psychologists have said it is unethical to give a diagnosis on a person from TV interviews and sound bites. I suggest you digest that for a while... Meanwhile, a song to pass the time.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU33U-i7Vv8 https://www.mediamatters.org/blog/2014/02/21/here-are-13-other-repugnant-comments-ted-nugent/198174 https://www.buzzfeed.com/tamerragriffin/trump-palin-nugent-kid-rock?utm_term=.sv3YOklOP8#.cxrvra3rYO http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2017/04/why_donald_trump_invited_a_racist_celebrity_to_the_white_house.html Meanwhile the right wing fascists have been busy: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/the-danger-of-confronting-islamophobia-to-its-face_us_5947330ee4b024b7e0df4d6d "He was saying 'I wanna kill more people, I wanna kill more Muslims'," Aidroos told BBC TV. Keeping this post short. Happy Fathers day! But yes, this right here sums up everything. You don't know him, but you label him a racist anyway. And this is done because he disagrees with Obama (rather strongly on a couple of subjects, I might add, and doesn't mince words about it...) But these racial politics are the core of left wing hate, and unless they can stop calling everyone that disagrees with them "racist" we're going to get more hate and violence. I'm sad to say it, but on the current course, civil war is inevitable..... Thanks Jakee!!!! You keep inserting race into the consideration of a political ideological attack. The shooter an older white man, his political support was for a older white man and most of the victims were white men. Continue with the fallacious stretches of ideology to justify a fantasy of the gun carrying survivalists. Who have never seen a government worth a cent in support. -
Obama ordered a burger with mustard and a supposedly serious news show host dedicated an entire segment to slamming him over it. Trump more scrutinized? Sorry, don't see it. Was that scrutinization televised on primetime TV throughout the entire world on a daily basis? Obama wasn't a train wreck with tweets, lies and talk of policy changes in every aspect of foreign policy. Put McCain,Graham, McConnell or a dozen similar republicans in trumps shoes and the discussions would be back to budgets, burgers.

IMO the shooter lost perspective on what democracies and accommodation to other political interests are about. I've said the same things here that the shooter did on facebook about trump. Be it left or right anything that trump does can be 1/2 undone next year and fully reversed in four. There are counties where so called democracies are but a veneer to cover real corruption. Quasi civil wars in regards to political pandering and institutionalized corruption. Pakistan being one, Russia another. The shooter is dead today. No civil war is going to start. The somewhat messy US political process is mulling and muddling ahead. Today trump is under investigation for obstruction of justice. There is a system and it mostly works. If the shooter had controlled himself. Stepped back from his views and obsessions he may have seen a light as early as...a month, a year, from now. Its important to allow those who think owning a gun is the only thing in life that matters. To think that a single cent paid to a central government is theft. That all should have cradle to grave everything from a government. To express themselves. To have consideration for their views, for their money and their liberties. -

Graham: Trump could 'go down' because he can't stay quiet Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Sunday said President Trump could be the first commander in chief “to go down” over ongoing chaos in his administration, including his Twitter habit. http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/337302-graham-trump-could-go-down-because-of-chaos McCain says American leadership was better under Obama: report http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/337340-mccain-says-american-leadership-was-better-under-obama-report Don't take my word for it. Just last week, second-term Republican member of Congress Martha McSally acknowledged this fear. While at a closed door meeting with banking lobbyists that was secretly recorded, she was heard sharing the way constituents have been talking to her about Trump: "I'm, like, responsible for everything he does, and tweets and says." She then added a concern many of her fellow Republicans must be feeling: "Any Republican member of Congress, you are going down with the ship." http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/11/opinions/republicans-dump-trump-opinion-obeidallah/index.html -
In December 2016, the World Economic Forum reported that as the cost of producing wind turbines has fallen by more than 30% in the last three years, the cost of electricity from wind power has fallen to $50 per megawatt hour on average worldwide, without subsidies. That’s half the cost of coal. http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20170606-the-largest-wind-farms-in-the-world-are-in-the-uk

To all those that say there is no smoking gun in trump's hand. How many times has trump been sued? How many days upon days has he been under oath in depositions testifying about his conduct and actions? How many days has this 70 year old man been sitting with lawyers going over testimony regarding all the legal matters he has been in? Think about it. Was anyone expecting a written presidential order to Comey to back off? Except for the bag licker Ryan "Paul Ryan’s Excuse for Trump: He’s ‘Just New to This’ http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/06/paul-ryans-excuse-for-trump-hes-just-new-to-this.html Sure trump is just a babe in the woods to lying, bullying and the whole function of the justice system.

That lawyer must at least be worth some of what I'm sure he's charging the president, as I'd be willing to bet he confiscated POTUS' phone during the testimony, and possibly tied him to a chair. That would have been the only way to keep him from tweeting -- short of asking him, "does this rag smell like chloroform?" Wait....wait...they will be coming.

Are you suggesting the trump/kushner gang, which is involved in using the law where you can't indict a sitting president. Isn't using that position for self enrichment, business self promotion and obstruction of the disclosures of those actions?

I have obtained an exclusive copy of the plan from a WH informant. The United States of America Infrastructure plan: One trillion dollars to be spent with the funds arising from a 8% GDP growth rate of the US economy. 1. Build a wall along the Mexico border, $25 billion http://money.cnn.com/2017/01/25/news/economy/trump-mexico-border-wall-cost/index.html 2. Build a wall to keep out cheap Canadian lumber and dairy products. But let the oil pipelines including XL cross under it. $100 billion 3. Other projects to be announced via tweets. Hawaii law aligns state with Paris climate pact A new law in Hawaii formally aligns the state with the greenhouse gas reduction goals of the Paris climate change agreement. Gov. David Ige (D) signed the law in a Tuesday ceremony, saying Hawaii is the first state to put its commitments to Paris into legislation and pass it. “Hawai‘i is committed to environmental stewardship, and we look forward to working with other states to fight global climate change. Together, we can directly contribute to the global agenda of achieving a more resilient and sustainable island Earth,” Ige said in a statement. http://thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/336742-hawaii-law-aligns-state-with-paris-climate-pact

China takes lead on clean energy as US retreats

How can we unlock it? https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/01/unlocking-23-trillion-of-climate-investment-opportunities-is-mission-possible/ China to plow $361 billion into renewable fuel by 2020 http://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-energy-renewables-idUSKBN14P06P China Unveils Proposal for $50 Trillion Global Electricity Network http://www.nbcnews.com/business/energy/china-unveils-proposal-50-trillion-global-electricity-network-n548376 China cementing global dominance of renewable energy and technology It now owns five of the world’s six largest solar-module manufacturing firms and the largest wind-turbine manufacturer https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2017/jan/06/china-cementing-global-dominance-of-renewable-energy-and-technology Perhaps China instead of Russia is the secret sponsor of trump? What the world can teach us about equality and happiness. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/mar/20/norway-ousts-denmark-as-worlds-happiest-country-un-report All Western politicians claim to promote transparency and technology. The Nordics can do so with more justification than most. The performance of all schools and hospitals is measured. Governments are forced to operate in the harsh light of day: Sweden gives everyone access to official records. Politicians are vilified if they get off their bicycles and into official limousines.
