  1. A straw here, a straw there, a blade of grass blowing in the wind. Grab it and hold tight because its the answer. Trying to pin down a trump supporter with fact is like wrestling greased pigs at the county fair.

Welcome to the gaslighting zone. Only available in the USA. The QAnon Candidates Are Here. Trump Has Paved Their Way. The conspiracy theorists accuse Democrats and even fellow Republicans of being beholden to a cabal of bureaucrats, pedophiles and Satanists. President Trump has cheered them on. A Republican Senate candidate recently declared herself “one of the thousands of digital soldiers” in service of QAnon, a convoluted pro-Trump conspiracy theory about a “deep state” of child-molesting Satanist traitors plotting against the president. A congressional candidate in Colorado who made approving comments about QAnon bested a five-term Republican incumbent in a primary last month. And then there is Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican who is perhaps the most unabashedly pro-QAnon candidate for Congress and has drawn a positive tweet from President Trump. She recently declared that QAnon was “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take this global cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles out.” More than two years after QAnon, which the F.B.I. has labeled a potential domestic terrorism threat, emerged from the troll-infested corners of the internet, the movement’s supporters are morphing from keyboard warriors into political candidates. They have been urged on by Mr. Trump, whose own espousal of conspiracy theories and continual railing against the political establishment have cleared a path for QAnon candidates.
  3. So thats a concession that this thread is irrelevant, DOA?
  4. disappointed Probably disappointed that "John Bankhead, a spokesman for the Stone Mountain Memorial Association, said the protesters were peaceful and orderly. " Everyone knows that Blacks, dressed in "paramilitary-style clothing, carried rifles, including military-type weapons, and some wore ammunition belts slung over their shoulders." Is the signal for SHTF. Parading in military garb, gang colors, is reserved for the right, for Crips and Bloods.
  5. trump has stated again and again that he watches FOX. He quotes them, phones into their shows, hires their employees, has a bromance with the owner, and reacts to every direction that they lead. FOX crafts the debate for the right and each of the network's debate leaders has the Murdoch right wing agenda. Currently its support trump and the GOP propaganda. If the right thought for itself and could separate b.s. from facts. If trump stopped following each wag of the tail of the FOX like Pavlov's dog. The analogy you attempt to use may have merit. It would even happen if the GOP and trump discussed policy, which of course they don't.
  6. Feigning ignorance is a part of the cognitive dissonance process. He isn't ignorant and further explanations are dismissed by FOX talking points. They tell its viewers what to think.

  8. So what you're saying is some common criminals gave their handgun to a superior criminal? From my experience , makes sense!

Manitoba is the poster child for how responsible communities put each other's health above personal "wants".
  10. Thats true but its unlikely that the warrant solely named the rifle and not the handgun. Even so why would they give a lawfully owned handgun to their lawyer for any reason?
  11. Influencewatch, one of the largest supporters the Koch brothers. "In the second book, Dark Money, Jane Mayer examines the rise of David and Charles Koch, billionaire brothers who started their political careers as members of fringe right wing libertarian groups. Today, they are principal funders of a network known by its critics as the Kochtopus whose tentacles extend to foundations, think tanks and political organizations that systematically advance antiregulatory free-market policies at every level of society. Mayer shows how the Koch brothers and their wealthy allies have used philanthropic and political contributions to frame the national agenda and to compete effectively against political parties and other mainstream organizations. She notes that while the Kochs and their partners describe their policy objectives as idealistic efforts to reduce government encroachment on individual liberty, in practice these policies directly benefit the bottom line of their business empires. For example, in 2010 the Koch-supported advocacy group Americans for Prosperity helped to elect Congressional representatives who then cut funding for Environmental Protection Agency enforcement by 27%.(p.274) EPA had repeatedly fined the Koch brothers energy businesses for violating pollution laws." Nothing less than a PAC in the guise of a "think tank" with the sole purpose of eliminating regulations so they can increase the bottom line of their companies.
  12. It was the kind of utterance that makes professional transcribers question their career choice: “ … there is no collusion between certainly myself and my campaign, but I can always speak for myself — and the Russians, zero.” When President Trump offered that response to a question at a press conference last week, it was the latest example of his tortured syntax, mid-thought changes of subject, and apparent trouble formulating complete sentences, let alone a coherent paragraph, in unscripted speech. "Research has shown that changes in speaking style can result from cognitive decline. STAT therefore asked experts in neurolinguistics and cognitive assessment, as well as psychologists and psychiatrists, to compare Trump’s speech from decades ago to that in 2017; they all agreed there had been a deterioration, and some said it could reflect changes in the health of Trump’s brain.".. Now, Trump’s vocabulary is simpler. He repeats himself over and over, and lurches from one subject to an unrelated one,... “but I think it’s pretty safe to say that Trump has had significant cognitive decline over the years.”

    covid-19

Virus immunity in recovered patients may be gone in months, researchers say People who have recovered from COVID-19 may lose their immunity to the virus within months, according to research released this month. The study is the first of its kind examining the antibody levels in confirmed coronavirus patients and evaluating how they change over time. Researchers analyzed immune responses of patients and health care workers at Guy's and St. Thomas’ National Health Service Foundation Trust in London and found that levels of antibodies that destroy the virus quickly declined after peaking several weeks after patients exhibited symptoms. The study found that 60 percent of the patients had a “potent” antibody response at peak of their battle with the coronavirus. After about two months, however, just 16.7 percent of the patients had a potent antibody response. "This is an important study that starts to define the longer-term dynamics of the antibody response to SARS-CoV-2," Lawrence Young, professor of Molecular Oncology at the University of Warwick, told AFP. “It further emphasizes the need for us to better understand what a protective immune response looks like if we are to develop an effective vaccine," Young added. The professor was not involved in the research.

Science is the enemy in the Covid war and trump is the President at War. This is the cartoon released by the WH to undermine science.
  15. Wikipedia Rosenberg's sentence was commuted by President Bill Clinton on January 20, 2001, his last day in office, to the more than 16 years' time served. Her commutation produced a wave of criticism by police and New York elected officials.[21] After her release, Rosenberg became the communications director for the American Jewish World Service, an international development and human rights organization, based in New York City. She also continued her work as an anti-prison activist, and taught literature at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. After teaching for four semesters there as an adjunct instructor, the CUNY administration, responding to political pressure, forced John Jay College to end its association with Rosenberg, and her contract with the school was allowed to expire without her being rehired.[22] The charity she is involved with: Thousand Currents. "Thousand Currents partners with grassroots groups - led by women, youth, and Indigenous Peoples in the Global South - that are transforming their communities and creating lasting solutions to our shared global challenges. Our partners develop solutions that are innovative and impactful. They work to ensure their communities have access to healthy and locally grown food, are able to enjoy economic prosperity that generates wellbeing for all people, and live in a safe and healthy environment that supports abundant life." as compared to Trump Pays $2 Million to 8 Charities for Misuse of Foundation Under a settlement, the president admitted he had used his charity to bolster his campaign and settle business debts.
  16. With that thinking the US should have supported the Chechen Muslim, Salafi-jihadist ideology. Such that they could have bombed more Moscow apartments, Moscow metro stations, taken over some more theaters and schools. Russia fought several wars against the same religious ideology. That is twice you've used that exact same argument with reference to the same situation.
  17. George Soros has done it again. Enraging "Q", the GOP, Russia and right wing Americans. Using his money not to buy private Boeing 757 jets to flout his money like trump. Not to squirrel his money away in offshore havens like Xi and Putin. But instead: Mr. Soros’s group will invest $150 million in grants for Black-led racial justice groups, and another $70 million toward local grants for criminal justice reform and civic engagement opportunities. Clearly he means to undermine the US state and the White status quo.

It also explains how it is that dictators and despots. Who can control a narrative can keep large segments of the population loyal and submissive. That would include N. Korea, China, Russia and a few others. For most of the world where information is not restricted. It illustrates a bereft of critical thinking. i.e. “those who stand to gain from the manipulation of truth often prey on those bereft of critical thinking.”
  19. The Benedict Donald death clock is obviously understating the number of brave Americans who have died because of trump. In a NYT editorial today a former CIA officer in charge of Afghanistan laid out what trump knew, when he knew it and how he kissed Putin's ass. By denying the Russian support for the Taliban, denying Russian instructions and payments for attacks on US forces. How it all encouraged President Putin to step up payments. Benedict Donald offered nothing but praise for Putin in the 2017-2019 time frame and Putin took this as license to kill more Americans. "The Russian bounties look like an escalation of that earlier Russian support for the Taliban — support that was publicly commented on by Defense Secretary Jim Mattis in 2017 and by the commander of U.S. and coalition forces in Afghanistan, Gen. John Nicholson, in 2018. At a 2017 news conference, when asked whether he was refuting that Russia was sending weapons to the Taliban, General Nicholson responded, “No, I’m not refuting that.” Secretary Mattis received the President’s Daily Briefs that Mr. Trump did. General Nicholson read both strategic- and tactical-level reporting about Afghanistan, including the actions of Russia, China, Iran, Pakistan and India that might affect military and political circumstances on the ground. There is nothing inaccurate in the observations from Generals Mattis and Nicholson."
  20. Some trump supporters here have suggested that companies can and should be allowed to monitor their own pollution. To trade and self account for pollution. Sept. 2019 "President Trump announced last Thursday, August 29 that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will roll back another round of Obama-era emission regulations. The new EPA mandate would replace those initially introduced by President Obama requiring oil and gas companies to monitor and fix methane leaks from infrastructure equipment such as pipelines, storage facilities and wells." Today "Oil and gas companies in the United States are hurtling toward bankruptcy at a pace not seen in years, driven under by a global price war and a pandemic that has slashed demand. And in the wake of this economic carnage is a potential environmental disaster — unprofitable wells that will be abandoned or left untended, even as they continue leaking planet-warming pollutants, and a costly bill for taxpayers to clean it all up.... The industry’s decline may be just beginning. Almost 250 oil and gas companies could file for bankruptcy protection by the end of next year, more than the previous five years combined, according to Rystad Energy, an analytics company. ... Even before the current downturn, methane, a powerful greenhouse gas, was being released from production sites in America’s biggest oil field at more than twice the rate previously estimated, according to a recent study based on satellite data. Some experts say that with the industry in disarray, efforts to fix leaks of methane, which pound for pound can warm the planet more than 80 times as much as carbon dioxide over a 20-year period,.. The federal government estimates that there are already more than three million abandoned oil and gas wells across the United States, two million of which are unplugged, releasing the methane equivalent of the annual emissions from more than 1.5 million cars. “They’re sitting there and they’re leaking. And they’re much leakier than a well that’s still in production and being monitored, although those leak, too,” said Robert Schuwerk, executive director for North America at Carbon Tracker. “And companies haven’t been setting aside the money, because they’d rather spend the money on drilling a new well.” As well as paying executives massive severance bonuses in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Are you suggesting that trump may begin to model his behavior on Putin's with regards to political enemies? That perhaps Fauci might jump out of a third floor window head first?
  23. What it explains is that Covid 19 is the scientific answer to trump and his supporters. Its Darwin at work speeding up the decline of the GOP. Unfortunately its mortality effects seems to be more severe on non-white populations than white.
