  3. Keep in mind that such thinking gives a mouthpiece to expand that view. To legitimize it. QAnon is racist, fascist, anti-democratic, anti-government and anarchist. Many people have a hard time avoiding rabbitholes in general. Legitimizing such representatives increases the damage such "policy makers" can do to government. Having said that I understand the substance of what you're saying and don't necessarily disagree. The almost party line vote of the trump party certainly reinforces your view.
  4. Within NAR(National Association Realtors), women make up: 56 percent of licensed brokers 66 percent of sales agent licensees 63 percent of full-time sales agents 69 percent of part-time sales agents As a matter of fact, the real estate profession experiences one of the highest gender pay disparities — the seventh highest as of 2000. This places it below chiropractors and just above physicians. (The lowest gender wage gap is found amongst U.S. postal workers). The average yearly income for a real estate agent in California is $58,180 as of 2014, according to the BLS. Applying nationwide data on real estate earnings by gender, the average full-time real estate income in California is around: $67,700 for male agents and brokers; and $49,600 for female agents and brokers.
  5. Just more cherry picking by Brent. This study references the(same) single business study that Brent is aft to paint as fact. Then it goes beyond that to factor multi-geographic and multi-industry studies.

What about people who aren't working now. Should they go to the back of the vaccine line? The undocumented immigrants and their children who are being held in detention. Since they are not US citizens shouldn't they be at the back of the line? How about migrant farm workers with temporary visas should they get a vaccine ahead of a citizen if their older?
  11. How Fracking Became America's Money Pit Above is a well made 17 minute video on how fracking screwed US investors out of a third of a trillion dollars and left a trail of destitute widows, orphans. It doesn't truly cover the damage to the environment, to farmers wells and the costs to clean it all up. That will be borne by US taxpayers. Typical oil.
  12. Clearly you understand the QAnon lite voter, AKA republican.
  13. Too bad that Newsmax didn't let him continue. Dominion could have ended up helping Americans lay their heads on overpriced bedding and turn Newsmax into a responsible broadcaster in one fell swoop.
  14. If so here is an editorial from the Economist that states the same thing. The Economist article lists no name of the author so its from the editorial board of that group. They tend to be correct when discussing economic theory and policy. "IT IS a central principle of Keynesian economics that governments should stimulate demand during recessions by cutting taxes and boosting spending. Conversely, when times are good and unemployment is low, budgets should be kept in check. However, these conventional counter-cyclical prescriptions seem to hold little sway with White House policymakers. In his first year in office, Donald Trump has turned Keynes on his head, pushing through a massive fiscal stimulus during America’s second-longest economic expansion in history." Don't confuse pure theory with how the GOP has morphed that thinking into raw stimulus and a multiplier effect. Whereby no taxes and massive stimulus solves all problems. Income inequality in the U.S. is the highest of all the G7 nations, according to data from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The wealth gap between America’s richest and poorer families more than doubled from 1989 to 2016, The PEW article where the above two findings are quoted from. Its no coincidence that Reganeconomics, a new definition in economic policy started with President Regan in 1989. Demand side theory and supply side theory have been turned upside down by the GOP. That was the point I was attempting to make.
  15. Yes that is the cornerstone of GOP tax cuts over the last forty years. Which suggests cuts in taxation will result in more money in the pockets of the rich. As they are the ones most often targeted by the legislation for the reduced taxation benefits. They will spend and reinvest those tax savings resulting in the supposed multiplier effect. All of which in the end benefits the poor. Like all economic theory its an idea on how economies function. As compared to the economic policy whereby sending money directly to the problem that needs address is most effective. i.e. welfare payments. The GOP has painted Keynesianism as the answer to all. When neither is perfect.
  16. Sorry to tell you. Like the economic policies trump peddled, the " Flux Capacitor" only exists in the minds of trump followers and the fantasy world.

You're so silly to imagine ethics enter the thinking of republicans. Its why children get put into cages at the border when they come to America for safety. Its why a black guy who gets caught with 30 grams of homegrown gets jail time. Hence the bottom of the vaccination list. While Wall street bankers get bailouts, on top of golden parachutes, on top of stock options. SC yep, republicans are everywhere.sort of a QAnon lite.

No thats what happens when you mix a gun a totin GOP supporter with higher edjucation. not everything sticks.
  21. I know it would be humiliating for a top realtor to shop at Walmart when Sachs 5th ave is the usual stop.
  22. Of course there is a free lunch ask the GOP senate and house members. Ask the airline industry. Its hard to figure if this thread was authored by Stephen Miller or Lindsey Graham. Your use of "facts is straight out of FOX's. Teaching to "Q", the GOP and others with disabled intellect. Here are the facts if you bothered to look.Inequality has been building for decades in the U.S., but experts say the pandemic ‘ripped it open’
  23. From the story "The report says that the former president suffered a “double-digit erosion” with “White College educated voters across the board.” So its no wonder that republicans hate the educated. 'One notable example related to views of higher education: Between 2015 and 2017, the share of Republicans who said colleges and universities were having a negative effect on the way things were going in the U.S. rose from 37% to 58%, even as around seven-in-ten Democrats continued to say these institutions were having a positive effect." Including republicans in SC "For the most part universities stopped being "private industries" when they started taking taxpayer money for a substandard result. Hell, they can't even educate a pharmacist to think correctly. " To whit I would bring forth the results when you try to educate a republican the aforementioned GOP pharmacist. "The Wisconsin pharmacist who destroyed hundreds of COVID-91 vaccines believed the doses were microchipped — and is a gun-carrying flat-earther who thinks the sky is a government shield hiding God, according to an FBI affidavit. “that he does not believe the coronavirus is real, and he thinks the vaccine is going to harm people,” the document said. “Brandenburg thinks that the vaccine is ‘microchipped’ and will turn off people’s birth control and make others infertile,” FBI Special Agent Lindsay Schloemer wrote. The colleague who reported him, Sarah Sticker, was alarmed by the pharmacist of 13 years because he “was very engaged in conspiracy theories,” the document said." Proof that republicans and education mix like oil and water.
  24. The damages to the environment, the use of resources that belong to all Americans that the oil industry pays nothing for. Needs to be collected to compensate the poor as the economy transitions to a new environmentally sustainable economy. One where the only fuel stations are for trains, long haul commercial A/C and shipping. Subsequent to the transition there will be no subsidies for anybody. Cars like Why Lightyear Could Be The Most Game-Changing Car Company On the Planet. Together with new residential construction building codes will make electricity almost free. IMO your beliefs are tied to the growth among republicans that are just anti education. From the latest PEW study: "On other issues, attitudes changed more among Republicans than among Democrats. One notable example related to views of higher education: Between 2015 and 2017, the share of Republicans who said colleges and universities were having a negative effect on the way things were going in the U.S. rose from 37% to 58%, even as around seven-in-ten Democrats continued to say these institutions were having a positive effect. " Change, new technology and the end of big oil is hard for you. Why not enroll in a community college in the evenings. You would meet all kinds of young people and broaden your views?
  25. Change.... i know its frightening to you, Murps2000 and others. Exxon is a good example of whats coming. Since 2015 they have spent $30 billion more than what their cash flow was. Cash flow not profits.Exxon Posts First Annual Loss in 40 Years on Huge Writedown Three consecutive quarterly losses ended up in a $19.3 billion writedown. Its time to face your fears about whats coming and stop the feigned compassion for the poor.
