14% of American live in rural areas. The rest in Urban or suburban.

There are many countries in Europe with poverty as bad as the US. Portugal for example. They pay $6.74 a gallon for gas. In addition they don't subsidize the oil industry $20 billion a year. Odd that the GOP figures the poor in America don't need health care but need cheap gas for the cars that they seldom drive. All just part of the B.S. of the "I've got mine" party.dom drive far.

So people who believe in a powerful cannibal, pedophile, sex trafficking empire is merging with more dangerous groups.

US fossil fuel production is subsidized to the tune of $20 billion annually 'The U.S. Department of Agriculture simply sent him a check to compensate him for the low prices resulting from the trade war. " 'Trump money' is what we call it," Henry said. "It helped a lot. And it's my understanding, they're going to do it again.". trump money subsidies to US agriculture averages $20 billion a year. I completely agree with your general premises. Carbon taxes are in fact the best way to encourage fossil fuel use reduction. Canada in general approves that, with Alberta and Sask governments opposing. Although a substantial part of the Alta. and Sask. populations endorse the carbon tax.

Suddenly the GOP boosters are concerned about the poor in America. The next thing you know they will be concerned about the deficit! Norway would be a good country to compare with the US. In the US gas is 72 cents per liter, Norway its $1.88 a liter. Per capita the US uses 42% more oil. Norway produces twenty times more oil per capita than the US does. Norway doesn't use cheap fuel to subsidize oil companies and donations to political parties. Its sovereign wealth fund which holds the state revenues of its oil resources has $195,000 per capita. Thats called responsible government in a warming world. As compared to the I want my SUV, screw everyone else because we'll just build walls.

Dominion Voting Systems is suing Rudolph W. Giuliani, the lawyer for Donald J. Trump over his lies about vote rigging. They are asking the courts for more than $1.3 billion. "Taken together with a lawsuit the company filed this month against Sidney Powell, another lawyer who was allied with Mr. Trump, the suit represents a point-by-point rebuke of one of the more outlandish conspiracy theories surrounding last year’s election." IMO this is just more of the trump promises to create "more great jobs". I anticipate more legal matters to clean up trump's messes.

I anticipate Joe will be along shortly. He will say that its the way to turn large fortunes into small ones. But we all know they get free jumps out of the equation.

As far as MAGA trump has already managed to make China first. His trade wars, walls, tariffs have now made America second to China in foreign investment inflows. China has overtaken the US as the world's top destination for new foreign direct investment, according to UN figures released on Sunday. New investments into America from overseas companies fell by almost half last year, leading to the loss of its number one status. In contrast, UN figures show direct investment into Chinese firms climbed 4%, putting it number one globally. The top ranking shows China's growing influence on the world economic stage. Chinese economy 'to overtake US by 2028' China falling short of US trade deal targets(this is trumps much tooted "Phase ! trade deal" China had $163bn (£119bn) in inflows last year, compared to $134bn attracted by the US, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) said in its report In 2019, the US received $251bn in new foreign direct investment while China received $140bn." Thats the damage four years of trumpism has wrought. Investors don't put their money into countries they don't trust.. Worldwide trust of the US has dropped by 17% over the first three years of the trump government

Merck ends development of two potential COVID-19 vaccines "Merck is giving up on two potential COVID-19 vaccines following poor results in early-stage studies. The drugmaker said Monday that it will focus instead on studying two possible treatments for the virus that also have yet to be approved by regulators. The company said its potential vaccines were well tolerated by patients, but they generated an inferior immune system response compared with other vaccines." Still several others in the pipelines(J&J, etc) besides the Russian and Chinese vaccines.

You mean that stuff between the ears?

Shameful, sometimes home-warming gifts just cost money. That is a wealthy area of the country and the residents want to show appropriate revulsion.

The final phrase should be "I became a Nazi".

No, probably shook the hand of a man and then found out afterwards that he was transgender. It could be contagious you know.

Fear Brent ^ Any questions?

trump's infamous goal of "Operation Warp Speed" was 20 million administered vaccine doses before the end of 2020. As at Dec. 30th only 2.1 had been administered. Or 10.5% of its stated objective according to trump's own CDC. So over-promising and under delivering by trump would mesh nicely with how he honored his contracts to repay his business loans. I'm sure if the jumpers at Brent's DZ only paid ten percent of the time he'd be happy to let it pass. Anyone wanna hire him to run your DZ?
-
Brent is just following his latest news feeds "Recall Newsom effort has ties to far-right movements, including QAnon and virus skeptics. Lets all remember trump couldn't even mention "sleepy Joe" by his real name subsequent to President Biden's landslide victory. Couldn't even admit he lost. So expect his supporters and enablers to scour their news feeds for every mispronounced word President Biden utters.

Brent's sudden feigned interest in fairness and justice in sports is to be applauded. Just as a tiger can't change its stripes. Brent's values never change. I think the IOC, the NFL, NBA, NCAA, can deal with it. As for the nude mud wrestling. Brent's mind doesn't like to be confused by a superior woman athlete overpowering a male.

trump had the opportunity to buy 500 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine for delivery in the second quarter of 2021.Which would have been enough to complete the second vaccinations of every single American.Given the doses of vaccines already purchased. He was too busy getting ready for the election and golfing so he failed to do so. Instead Canada and EU countries bought them up. trump had "multiple offers" for the additional vaccines. Needless to say the trump death clock will run until every American receives their last dose.

On occasion you're on target.

Do you mean gerrymandering, redistricting, voter suppression, robocalling fear techniques, limiting early voting-voting by mail, discouraging registration, registration barriers, etc? Or QAnon? Because as Ron knows already, QAnon is just another form of poll taxes and literacy tests. Whatever it takes to suppress minority votes. Don't forget god endorses these actions because god is white. jakee, I direct your attention to Brent in one of his climate denial threads. I need your help because banging my head against the concrete wall hurts.

Yes Deflection, is important when mental gymnastics, the mascinations of Q and god are in conflict for the underlying personal needs of safety, forgiveness. In other Q style conspiracy news. Texas Supreme Court rejects Alex Jones request to toss lawsuits from Sandy Hook parents

W/O having to check I seem to recall you predicted that.

Yet you started a threadAfrica to build thousands of coal fired power plant Natural Gas Is Booming In Africa Oct 16, 2020 in OilPrice.com a oil industry information service. "With Morocco and Egypt in particular, both countries are increasingly embracing natural gas and renewable energies, and according to reporting by African Business, “it is likely that such big thermal projects will become increasingly rare.” In fact, this is likely not just limited to North Africa but to the entire African continent: “This could be an Africa-wide process in the case of coal, as its forecast rise as an African generation feedstock seems to be fizzling out,” reports African Business. In fact, large-scale coal projects are already being shelved. In Egypt, the construction of the Hamrawein coal-fired plant has been halted, representing just 6.6 GW of a considerable 15.2 GW’s worth of coal projects in Egypt alone that are now cancelled or on indefinite hiatus. The swift move away from coal is occurring in conjunction with the development of gas and renewable projects, and has continued at a brisk clip even as COVID-19 has thrown a wrench into the continent’s transition toward natural gas as a cleaner alternative and effectual stepping stone toward decarbonization." Is there coherent messaging in your climate denial syndrome? Wait...Jakee are you ready to deal with his mismash, mumbo jumbo answer?

People need stories like this. So the 410,000 others can have a proper perspective. There are 410,000 other stories, lessons. The end is in sight, come September more freedom but we have to get there, still some painful memories of lives ended.
