There will always be those who disbelieve science. Those who see a financial and political advantage in labeling government dysfunctional. People who choose, who falsely use facts and lies intermingled to distract. To paint a narrative coherent only in their minds. When they get called out on all of it. They waive the flag, bring up the constitution and free speech. Or vainly label it all as a liberal "cancel culture". Because traction is only obtained on the remotest sites on the internet and FOX news. Or within their right wing world on Facebook. In fact climate science is now a part of the culture war. A tool to be used to attack liberals as business haters. "the 1997 Kyoto Treaty that threatened the material interests of powerful economic and political interests, particularly members of the fossil fuel industry." So it became useful to throw that into a overall conservative-liberal culture war. Instead of one that uses science. People who can't or won't bother to study the science instead see it as a culture war with anyone on the left.

In ancient times female power was venerated. Only in the last few thousand years have men falsely portrayed themselves as gods. False gods. The US national war colleges must Ishtar? Her control of war and sex was so great that when she descended into the underworld sex on earth ended. She was the daughter of the Sky God An. Could Wendy be a great grandchild of "The" skygoddess?

Join a church that demonizes sex and the body of the opposite sex. That teaches you that hell awaits in such temptations. Then start a counseling service to deal with people that develop conflicts in their minds that can't reconcile sex and human behaviors. Religion and counseling in Georgia. mmmmm.... "When Brad Onishi heard that the man accused of a rampage at three Atlanta-area spas told detectives that he had carried out the attacks as a way to eliminate his own temptations, the claim sounded painfully familiar. Dr. Onishi, who grew up in a strict evangelical community in Southern California that emphasized sexual purity, had spent his teenage years tearing out any advertisements in surfing magazines that featured women in bikinis. He had traded his online passwords with friends to hold himself accountable. “We had a militant vigilance: Don’t let anything in the house that will tempt you sexually,” Dr. Onishi, now an associate professor of religious studies at Skidmore College, recalled. The evangelical culture he was raised in, he said, “teaches women to hate their bodies, as the source of temptation, and it teaches men to hate their minds, which lead them into lust and sexual immorality.” Robert Aaron Long, the suspect in the massacres that left eight people dead, told the police this week that he had a “sexual addiction,” and he had been a customer at two of the spas that he targeted. He was so intent on avoiding pornography that he blocked several websites on his computer and had sought help at a Christian rehab clinic."

Evidently the Southern Baptist church in Georgia where the suspect was a member has excommunicated the suspect. Kicked out anyway if baptists don't excommunicate. They stated that the attacks were “the result of a sinful heart and depraved mind” “We want to be clear that this extreme and wicked act is nothing less than rebellion against our Holy God and His Word,” the statement from Crabapple First Baptist Church, in Milton, Ga., said. It added, “The shootings were a total repudiation of our faith and practice, and such actions are completely unacceptable and contrary to the gospel.” "Nico Straughan, who went to high school with Long, described him as “super nice, super Christian” and “very quiet,” adding that Long walked around the school with a Bible. Bayless said Long “would describe several of his sexual addiction ‘relapses’ as he called them. He would have a deep feeling of remorse and shame and say he needed to return to prayer and to return to God.” So the suspect sought treatment for an addiction to pornography and sex. Yet the church he belonged to told him sex was sinful if you're not married. The Crabapple Church offered no apology for any role they played in formulating the psychology of the suspect.

"God bless America, they're coming to our rescue." "Thank god, I've been bugging (former president Donald trump), I've been bugging (President Joe Biden), all of them they must get sick of Doug Ford asking for help, but our greatest partner, our greatest trading partner, our greatest friend in the world, President Biden, thank you," said Ford at a press conference on Thursday afternoon. Earlier in the day, Reuters reported that the U.S. was planning to send 1.5 million doses of AstraZeneca, made at a U.S. facility but not yet approved to be used in the country, to Canada under loan. The news outlet quoted a White House spokesperson who said this was the goal, though the deal wasn't yet finalized. Ford said he would label the U.S. president as "the champion" once the province gets the vaccines." There was no elaboration as what "the champion" meant or what benefits were attached to that designation. "Canada was first to sign with Moderna. It signed a contract with Pfizer and BioNTech a week later, on Aug. 1. It was the fourth country to do so, after the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan. Canada had deals with four other vaccine companies, including Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson, and NovaVax. It added deals with Sanofi/GlaxoSmithKline and AstraZeneca in September and then with Canada's own Medicago the next month." Canada is receiving two million AstraZeneca doses directly from India.

Subservient young women performing the worst jobs imaginable to make ends meet. Meets religion, mental issues at the four corners of deviancy. Then throw a gun into the equation. All in the framework of cuts to mental health spending(2019): "The department proposes to cut $21.1 million from core services administered by local community service boards that aim to stave off costly hospital stays for mentally ill people. With smaller budgets, those boards could have trouble handling a growing demand for mental health services, creating a risk for “impacting increased suicidality, substance use disorders and demands on crisis services,” the budget plan says. The department also proposes to trim $16.3 million from the state’s housing voucher program and $1.6 million from a program aimed at increasing employment for mentally ill people." Cut mental health spending, buy more guns, attack Asians with malicious statements during a pandemic.

Every contract will have a time of delivery stated, together with the price and other relevant terms. Without a time in which the goods or services are render in fact it would not be a contract. No I'm sure the US is allowing the manufacturer to sell the aforementioned vaccines to Canada that have not yet been approved for use in the US. Canada has NOT contracted yet for any vaccines manufactured in the US. As such, they certainly would not have been paid for. As I quoted in the linked story. I asked you if you had any evidence to the contrary. So far you have not supplied such evidence.

"Tyler Bayless, the former roommate, said in an interview that he lived with Mr. Long at the house in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell for about five months beginning in August 2019. Nearly once a month, Mr. Long, who was then 20, would admit to Mr. Bayless and others in the apartment that he had again relapsed by visiting a massage parlor to have sex with an employee, Mr. Bayless said. He said Mr. Long’s admissions were always paired with discussions about his Christian faith and his relationship with God and his parents. “It tore him up inside,” Mr. Bayless said. Mr. Bayless, 35, said he did not want to diminish the pain that Asian-American people were feeling in the wake of the attack and was only describing his recollections of Mr. Long to give people more clarity about what he described as the “religious mania” of Mr. Long." The gun was legally purchased hours before the shooting. Disclosures from the sheriffs office indicated he intended killing more in the "pornography industry."

No. Biden is only allowing the vaccine not approved in the US to be exported. Canada let its manufacturing facilities perish. Canada and by default Trudeau was in fact slow to procure contracts from the manufactures. Although it was faster than some EU countries. The slow pace of deliveries from the EU are consistent with the agreed contractual delivery schedules. Thats why, despite repeated questioning from the conservative party and journalists. He has refused to provide intermediate and long term dates for delivery. Why the rollout in Canada has been slower than the EU. Canada now ranks about 40th in the world in per capita vaccinations, according to the University of Oxford’s Our World in Data. Liberals now lead Conservatives only by one point, Abacus says.. Furthermore thats after enticing India to shortchange some of its less developed customers and sell to Canada. Canada has one main reason for being 43rd. Its slow contracted procurement scheduling. Thats Trudeau's fault. Not the US, not trump, nor anyone else.
-
Any proof of that idea? "Canada did not attempt to procure any vaccine doses from the US after the Trump administration indicated it would not allow any vaccines to be exported." Which is obviously not the same as "previously procured by Canada". The EU held up doses for a short period of time then subsequently relented.

President Biden evidently felt sorry for Mexicans and has decided to give millions of doses to Mexico. His empathy for poorer and less wealthy countries is admirable. Oh! and he feels sorry for Canadians as well. That won't likely stop some Canadians from badmouthing Americans. But as the saying goes Ce la vie. "Tens of millions of doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine have been sitting in American manufacturing sites. But while their use has already been authorized in dozens of countries, the vaccine has not yet been approved by American regulators. The White House plans to send 2.5 million doses of the vaccine to Mexico and 1.5 million to Canada, according to a White House official, who said logistics on the plan were still being discussed."

Chuck Schumer has blocked an attempt to pass the costs of climate change and its related insurance costs. Onto those who should properly pay for such costs. Those who live and build in flood prone areas. "Senator Schumer objected to the flood-insurance overhaul when it was first announced in 2019, citing its potential to raise costs for people on Long Island. The new system would mean steeper rates for some high-value homes, and the southern shore of Long Island includes the Hamptons, which have some of the most expensive real estate in the country." FEMA wanted to increase rates to properly reflect risk. Schumer in a tribal and elitist action blocked FEMA's rate increases. Passing those insurance costs onto more prudent property owners without ocean views. American taxpayers bailing out those who live in the Hamptions, disgusting.

From the story quoted he attempts to use the shield of corporations to shield his personal liabilities. Thats why the judgement was against him personally. "People don't recognize that line". Exactly, engine overhauls are expensive but likely only the pilot, the A/C engineer and the owner know the facts. In this case the instructor's training and actions where "likely" the sole cause. Thats why insurers insert "sole clause" provisions in their contracts.

If a filibuster breaks out and everyone but the speaker walks out. Is it still a filibuster?
-
An excessive pecuniary judgement from an American court, in whole or in part. Even though courts are only supposed to coldly weigh facts. Issues like "certified instructors", other fatalities, are painted by plaintiffs lawyers as all important. It works the same way in other proceedings civil and criminal. Accidents, history, standards, complaints, etc. are all ammunition to pound the nail of damages in the minds of juries.

There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998
Phil1111 replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
"Based on preliminary data, January through March of 1998 ranked as the sixth warmest such year-to-date in the 104-year national record, with an area-averaged temperature of 39.00 degrees F. This is a departure of 3.46 degrees F from the long-"term mean. You can't even cherry pick data to support your representations. The first quarter(1998) was 3.46 degrees warmer in your cherry picked term. Further more last month was 1.17°F above the long term average. An inability to sustain an attention span and focus for short periods of time can be an indicator of depression. Surely you didn't short Tesla after everyone here warned you not to? -
Don't worry, the people of Israel know about Q and how Luciferians are attacking the children of god. From The Times of Israel "QAnon an old form of anti-Semitism in a new package, say experts Some of those tracking conspiracy theory note its use of tropes, vocabulary of anti-Semitic propaganda and blood libels throughout history"

The filibuster has fallen victim to tribalism. It used to be a tool for democracy but now is merely a club to beat democracy into submission.

Why Lie? Because the moderators have lost interest in your posts out of boredom? I know for many US citizens the world ends at the US borders. But many from outside the US read these posts. Surely your public school education can't be that bad? Your Facebook feeds so filled with disinformation? Below from NOAA "The February 2021 global surface temperature was 1.17°F (0.65°C) above the 20th-century average of 53.9°F (12.1°C). This was the smallest February temperature departure since 2014 and the 16th highest for February in the 142-year record. February 2021 marked the 45th consecutive February and the 434th consecutive month with temperatures, at least nominally, above the 20th-century average. The Northern Hemisphere’s February 2021 temperature departure was the 14th highest for February on record at 1.51°F (0.84°C). This was also the smallest February temperature departure for the Northern Hemisphere since 2014. The Southern Hemisphere’s surface temperature departure from average was 0.81°F (0.45°C) above average — the smallest February temperature departure since 2012 and the 19th-warmest February on record. The most notable warmer-than-average February 2021 temperatures of at least +3.6°F (+2.0°C) were present across eastern Canada, western, central, and southeastern Europe and southern and northeastern Asia. The most notable cool temperature departures from average during February were observed across much of North America, Scandinavia and northern Asia, where temperatures were at least 5.4°F (3.0°C) below average. Other notable cool temperatures were observed across the central and eastern tropical Pacific Ocean, Australia and parts of the southern oceans. North America had its coldest February since 1994 and the 20th-coldest February in the regional 112-year record. Oceania had its coldest February since 2012. South America and the Caribbean region had a top-10 warm February." -

Quack, quack, quack, if it sounds like a duck, walks like a duck, tastes like a duck. It was a duck! Do you honestly think people would get frustrated with strawmen, moving goalposts, etc. Substance? really. Substance.
