Now THIS should be interesting (addendum to Katana threads)
thegreekone replied to thegreekone's topic in Gear and Rigging
The Katana is not a finished product in the 135 and 150 sizes, yet everyone wants to give PD shit for not releasing it, when they should be applauding the fact that they do not want to release a sub standard product. Quote absofrickinlutely. I was just thinkin out loud given all the timeline talk about those sizes. -

The new issue of Skydiving has an article about new Mamba canopy and how that the biggest sellers are the 132-140-150 sizes. Attitudes about this move aside (yeah, right), it should be interesting to see if this changes PDs "timeframe" with regard to release dates for Katana 135 and 150s. -
Omar, my greyhound is the same way. He has to stick his head out, even for a sec, just to make sure it's not summer. Me? Buying chicken and prok necks in bulk so he can eat a RAW diet.

first real date I brought gerbers and she was so impressed I got something that was beautiful and but didn't scream "pressure". obviously I chose them as a sort of camouflage for my intentions. I kid, I kid....she joined a convent soon thereafter. poor kid.

3. Easter Sunday - Automatic Special Dispensation - Easter is April 16. Some may want to participate in the Sacrament. Others may have a traditional gathering of family wherein wine is a festive centerpiece of the meal. Therefore, April 16, 2006 - Easter Sunday - will by this rule have "Special Dispensation" and not be considered for purposes of this test. Quote uh, Orthodox Easter is the 23rd. Can I still get a "special dispensation" for that?

I remember my first failed jump. It seemed like I hot too much to do with too little altitude and I panicked. Spent most of the dive on my back . ANYWAY, finally just relaxed and got stable and pulled a tad lower than were I was suppossed to. Instructor knew exactly what was buigging me so he took me up higher and I everything perfectly. Landed and he walked up to me and said, "you actually looked like a skydiver up there." It was a watershed moment.

can you say Bordeaux and Champagne? Granted, while I can't afford to indulge this obsession too often, lets just say they are never too far away from any wish list.

People just never cease to amaze me with stupidity. Met some friends today for lunch and a buddy brought the local police blotter. Seems that a guy got pusted breaking into parking meters wanted to try and post bond with money he stole. unfreakinbelievable!

Who gives a rusty screw? Wake me up when her career is over and she is doing a pictorial for Oui magazine.

Regardless of whether she is or gonna be doing it with someone else, that is a Gigantic red flag. Now, that said, she may just be the coolest chick you ever meet and really cares about your needs being met. (yeah, and monkeys fly) Even if that is the case, that sounds pretty, how shall I say, obtuse? It would be nice if some of the dizzie female intelligentsia weighed in on the situation. ok....now run for your life.

Crate trainig is good but only half the battle. Obviously when you remove puppy from crate he should be taken diurectly outside, blah, blah, blah. Keep your puppy on a leash for the first few days. When it looks like he is gonna raise a leg or crouch, a loud well timed NO will do the trick and outside they go. Hassle, sure.....but sure fire way of ending the problem pronto.
