putting the toilet seat down...what gives?
thegreekone replied to thegreekone's topic in The Bonfire
gf called me into bathroom (very Sleeping With The Enemy of her) and reminded me about putting the seat down. I looked and said "it IS down, see?". I then realized we have differing opinions of what putting the seat down means. She thinks it includes the seat AND lid while I think it just means the seat.....hence, the expression, "put the seat down". Ok, whose right and gives, anyway? Don't get me wrong, it's no big whup, but I have to laugh because I was so damn proud of myself that I remembered to put the seat down, ya know? (it's a GUY thing, sorry) Ok, so I am bored while she is out, so sue me. -
I have been using a korean soy and red pepper paste lately. Oh, and I have been on a Udon kick as well.

OK, I'll admit it...bouncing with no drastic effects beyond embarrassment *is* kinda fun. had a dream last week that I threw out my pilot chute and it just did nothing but float down to the ground, as if that is where I wanted to throw it. It is opening day and everybody is watching and just shaking their heads, sorta in disgust. I just gather up my stuff and walk back to the hangar trying to figure out how the fuck did I just do that...and live.

2) The two most useless things in the world are a Jell-o Vibrator and a TV critic. Not necessarily ini that order. Quote Like when it comes to film, there are very few critics left, just reviewers. They mediate culture, there is very little bona fide criticism going on. I agree with what most people are saying about the writing, derivitive nature of plots, and how their just isn't the "vested" feeling of last season. And it is [pretty obvious why....we know almost nothing about the characters like we did last year. There is no Bahrooz (sp?), the whole chloe and victor thingey-do (RIP). We don't KNOW or CARE about anybody this year. THAT is why it just sorta sits there. Now, that said, I still tune in and hope...

I haven't seen Thief yet because I don't want to get hooked on another show, but Andre Braugher (sp?) is an amazing actor.Quote He was so exceptional on Homicide: Life on the Street. I remember after he had the stroke on the show and how he confronted Giardello about getting back in the saddle.....so desperate and all over the place, as oppssed to the perfectly controlled person he was every other day. He has the gift.

I deployed my reserve, while headdown and the reserve didn't open for a while. I shook the risers until it came open. Thank god I was doing a hop-and-pop at 6000ft versus the regular 3500ft or I would have bounced like a rubber ball. *gulp* -
have been so overwhelmed with work and grief lately that I was hopped up about having dinner at a friend's house who is a chef. the menu is as follows wine: 2003 LACKEY shiraz from australia salad: romaine, roasted tomatoes, goat cheese, sundried tomatoes, and cukes in a white balsamic vinagrette entree: pork chops marinated in celery salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and white truffle oil, then roasted and topped with a balsamic glaze pasta: fettucine in a tomatoe sauce with fennel, basil, onion, and some stuff I can't remember...topped with freshly grated romano. the meal was awesome, but the friends were so great and we laughed and had a great time. It was the first night that I really enjoyed myself since putting down my greyhound. I am grateful to have such good friends....er, that can cook!

being in real estate I see this a lot. It's tough and frustrating, but you need to exhaust your options before signing on the dotted line, espcially if it's gonna cause more harm than good to you and your future. Check your rolodex and the rolodex's of your friends, there is an answer out there for you. good luck

2002 Honda Accord dream car: 2007 Lamborghini Murcielago, and if I ever got it, I promised myself it would use it as my everyday driver (no shit), even if I had to move.

Also, snakes hate heavy metal music and our brains were implanted by aliens so we really are not human. If they do, it's because of the vibrations, snakes are deaf. I know, I know.....it's me. I am at work and trying to get out before putting this place out of its misery. oh yeah....it's 4:00pm and I haven't had lunch yet.

Did you see the preview for next week? It show Logan on a phone call and that's the impression they left me with. - I meant up to now.....my bad. should have been more explicit.
