:2: Lots of was owed this weekend in East Tennessee, as Tennessee's newest DZ (Hillbilly Skydiving) was officially opened for business for the time! They are operating out of Greeneville (TN) airport for now, but are going to open at a brand new, private strip location next spring. So we did 12 loads out of 2 182's on Sunday, could have done more but we were on a wind hold for a while.... I lurked a tandem and shot video, but the camera was zoomed in (good thing it wasn't a paying customer!) and did a beautiful sunset H&P. I

Ummm, yeah, I don't remember if I was there in '05 either! I could check my t-shirts, but somehow I ended up with all of them. So I guess I'll never know for sure. I probably wasn't there, I think I was only cool enough to actually attend Dublin in '06 and '07.... But it will always be my favorite boogie, Dublin changed my life forever (in a good way)!

Well, maybe it's psychological, but in years that I get flu shots I don't get the flu. In years that I don't get flu shots I do get the flu, with a high fever, and I'm miserable for about a week. If I can protect myself from 50% of the viruses out there then that's worth something. What do you have to tell me? I'm listening. And here I thought my #'s were pretty good, with 27 DZ's in 14 states. You have me beat by a long shot! That's awesome. 100 DZ's is a noble goal. I just hope I can surpass 50 one day. 50 DZ's and 50 states, that would rock.

Ummmmm, I'm not moving to Austin any time soon. I just bought a house in East TN! But I'm definitely up for coming to Austin for a visit...I've never been there but I hear it's a cool town.

Lang Creek Brewery makes an especially good root beer, in addition to their Skydiver Blonde ale. You'll probably have to make the trip to Lost Prairie next year though, if you want to get any...not sure it's available outside of that area in Montana, and definitely not available east of the Mississippi. Me too! He is definitely the dominant dog. Thanks everyone, and I love seeing the pictures of everyone's "puppies"! I really love the one of Porter and Baxter...maybe one day we'll have a pic like that of Samson and Delilah! Although they are 1/2 golden retriever, so it'll be interesting to see the difference between them and a full lab.... Don't worry, I'll still find time (and $$) to make it out to the DZ. Just probably not for the next few weeks. Moving all our furniture this weekend, and my Grandma is visiting next. But I'll jump at least by the end of the month, at the Hog Flop. Futuredivot...you can pick out the colors for your room if you come over and help paint it. Housewarming party probably in November. I hope it's not too cold so we can party on the huge deck!!! Maybe I'll get around to posting some pics tomorrow....

I'm mostly excited for the garage....and the fact that I don't have to haul my gear bag up and down to a 2nd floor apartment every weekend!!! In fact, I don't have to haul any of my gear, including my kayak, up and down stairs at all!
