What Can We Do About Skyride II

What Can We Do About Skyride II

I understood that perfectly. It does not matter if a company, whether it be a skydiving company or, let's say a car dealership, is guilty of any of the three offenses that you listed here, wrong is wrong and there no such thing as two wrongs makes a right. I don't have any information about whether or not sLyride is involved in offense 1 and/or 2 and therefore, I have never said anything or made any accusations to indicate such, but there's no doubt that sLyride has routinely committed offense 3. And if it has not happened yet at Clarksville, it will only be a matter of time before it starts happening there. Admit it guys, you can't help yourselves. The company's greed runs really deep. You can't deny that all those people got scammed by your company because all that evidence can't be wrong. How do you explain the Georgia court order and being on the Tennessee Dept of Consumer Affairs Buyer Beware list? And Why are they transferring their domains to show an ownership in Tennessee and a couple of other states? That looks like they are attempting to hide them from the Georgia Attorney General to keep him from monitoring them. All that evidence can't be wrong! Refuse to Lose!!! My point exactly! That's the biggest lie I've seen yet. And as for the Cat Aids thing, Did you guys really have that benefit? Why come up with a cause like that? How does that have anything to do with skydiving? Is someone a real serious Cat lover? is it a Boggie or a Boogie? Refuse to Lose!!! You're talking about a DZ that supports SLYride, right? Actually, he's talking about a DZ that is OWNED by sLyride. So, what's the chances anyone could truthfully answer that there's nothing wrong being done over there? Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org -

Nah, that site has been online for a long time. Although it may have had a background color before, most of the stuff on there is the same as they had when the DZ was in Pell City, which IS 20 minutes from Birmingham, if you drive 110 mph down I-20. The owner address on whois just changed, that's all. Something is going on for sure, as it used to be in GA. Like I said, Laundering Domains, running from the Court order! Was that Advertising or was it a Joke??? Remember, as long as they don't get called out, they're advertising, but when someone catches them doing something, they were only joking, hence Cat Aids.... Isn't Huntsville and Birmingham like 250 miles away from each other? Even Richard Petty can't get from Huntsville to Birmingham in 20 minutes It's apparant they are laundering more of their websites to keep the Ga Attorney General from overseeing their sites. Violation of the Court Order??? Here's the Whois on that site:https://who.godaddy.com/WhoIsVerify.aspx?domain=skydivingal.com&prog_id=godaddy Refuse to Lose!!! Why pay $150 up to $250+ for a jump when you can do the Static Line First Jump Training course for $195 which includes your first jump, then the Static Line jumps for $65, then, when you come off the Static Line, the price drops to $45, then when you come off Student Status, the price is $23? Why pay an average of $200+ per jump when you can get 2 to 4 jumps for the price of 1 AFF jump. You may notice that the other user here who is advertising for a certain DZ is attempting to dazzle you with some really killer prices and packages. Then you will notice that he goes on to mention that you will have to pay $150 for any jumps you "Need to repeat". Hence, "Failed" a jump?? How can you fail a jump? You jumped, You landed, You lived, You passed! The reason the AFF DZ's mention that is because there is a high percent chance that you will have to "Repeat" (?) a jump or two. They do that so they can get you back for another jump or two. But They will never admit that. The most that should happen if you missed something on a jump is that it should be logged in your logbook and attention would be given to that area on the next jump or before your "A" License check dive. And if an Instructor says you can't log a jump for one reason or another, they are lying. YOU JUMPED! YOU CAN LOG IT! Even if you didn't get a passing score. Also, here's a couple of really good references that will help you to make an educated decision about where to jump. http://funjumper.com/skyride/ and www.1800skyrideripoff.com. After reviewing those two references as well as the suggestion that the other user earlier in this thread offered you, you will see that the user that is offering you all those dazzling prices and packages works for and is advertising for the company which is the same one you asked about at first in this thread, is the company that all that evidence is warning you not to do business with. The choice is your's, be careful and don't get screwed! All that evidence can't be wrong!!! Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org

Sometimes the answer takes 10,000 words and it already exists in the archives. To use my previous example, it takes less time to search for "45 degree rule" than it does to post a question asking about the 45 degree rule. Not searching first is, IMO, lazy. I was mainly pointing out the rudeness that occurs when people answer in the way that was descrbed here. Not so much trying to slam anyone for directing someone to the search function. I have, more than once directed someone to the search results, but I did it in a polite manner. I just simply explained that it would take too much typing and endless posting or PMing, so do a search for whatever the subject of their question was in keyword form and I'll suggest some keywords to use. I look at it this way, The feet you step on today very well could be attached to the ass you will be kissing tomorrow. Refuse to Lose!!! Would it really hurt anyone who gives a crap about our sport to put his/her arrogance as a Skygod aside for a minute to politely answer the person's question and go on to politely offer advice that in the search function, there is a vast amount of info that would be helpful? I agree with you, by someone replying to a newbie in the way described here does nothing but makes ALL Skydivers AND the WHOLE SPORT look like we're a bunch of Arrogant assholes and does nothing to help the image and growth of our sport. I have personally been to a couple of different DZ's that routinely treat people in this manner and I find it completely unacceptable, so therefore, I believe TBrown is justified by starting this thread. Each and every one of us at some point in our life and to make our first jump, so why does a person with more experience seem to think they are Skygods and better than the "Newbie"? They were in that person's shoes at one time. These "Newbies" are the future of our sport and we as more experienced jumpers no matter if we have 100 or 10,000 jumps, are representatives of Skydiving and we should conduct ourselves as such, at least towards the new people coming in to our sport. USPA Membership Dues& Rating Fees going up?
Jumpdude replied to chriswelker's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
First, I'll say that I'm not cross posting by pointing this out and with respect for keeping the thread on subject, I'm not going to get this into a debate that can be handled in the appropriate thread. The economy, the cost , rate increase, and the services USPA does or does not render is not our reason for not becoming a USPA DZ. I think USPA is or can be a great organization. Our reason for NOT joining USPA as a Group Member is the fact that sLyride is a member and as I understand it, some of their supporters are on the BOD and/or ND. We choose to remain a non USPA DZ to minimize our affiliation with anyone who accepts sLyride's business practices. We will be more than glad to join as a group member when USPA has absolutely ZERO affiliation with sLyride, AND none of their associates are on the BOD/ND or any other level of the management structure. Thanks for the info, Here in Nashville, it's a sweltering 35 Degrees and 20 tonight. I took my coat the first time I went to PR, but now, I can assure, I make sure to leave my coat at home. So far, looks like the best deal I've found is around $350 from Nashville, Miami to PR. Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org

If you're for real, let's plan to meet half way at one of the DZ's and I'll buy your jumps for the day, and I will jump with you. I hate to hear of anyone getting kicked around like that. Again I say, IF you are real and this is a REAL problem you've encountered. Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
