I'm looking to sell a javelin J4 that was make made in the later 90's (I know specific date would help) along with a tempo 210 with 1 ride that was made about 2001. I'm looking to sell this to a new jumper and do not want to over charge him. I'm looking to buy a Centaurus for CRW made in June of 2000 that has been in storage. It has at least 1 jump on it to test a CRW canopy. The seller is asking me to make an offer and I have no idea what to offer. CSA #699 Muff #3804

Ok, I understand supply and demand but I want to get my moneys worth with the gear I'm selling but not over charge someone. The same goes for the container I'm looking to buy I don't want to pay to much. How much does a canopy and container depreciate. I know every jump on a canopy drops the price and a container will lose value over time even if it isn't used. Is there a standard depreciation for gears value over time. CSA #699 Muff #3804

I'm looking to sell and buy some used gear but not sure how to determine what my old gear is worth or what I should pay for used gear. Is there a standard price deduction for for gear like age, # of jumps and condition. I have a student who wants to buy some of my old gear but I don't know what I should sell it for. I don't want to charge him to much as well as I don't want to just give it away. I'm also getting a used container for CRW but not sure how much I should offer for the container. CSA #699 Muff #3804

If you make it to WA and are on the east side there is Richland Skysports my home DZ and to the north near Spokane there is Westplains Skydive in Davenport. Were doing night jumps this friday at Richland if you feel like skipping the rest of the country and head this way. CSA #699 Muff #3804

What I want I can't have and I have to see her every time I go to the DZ. CSA #699 Muff #3804

Sorry, I wish we had met but I didn't learn about the CSWR group until I read about them in Parachutist. Was a there for years 2 & 3 at Spaceland. I would have loved to have at San Marco. You probably had met Scott Schaeffer a great guy and a hell of an RW jumper. CSA #699 Muff #3804

It's all above my head. I'll just wait until Tuesday and see if I'm still blocked. If anything I could always find an empty computer and use it. CSA #699 Muff #3804

What about Icarus? I was looking to demo a Safire 2 and they only allow you to demo it for 1 jump weekend and then return it. PD I believe gives you a week to demo it. Is Icarus as friendly as PD when it comes to crappy weather and letting you keep it until you can jump it. CSA #699 Muff #3804

I know squat about all that wireless stuff even though my laptop comes with built in wireless. I spent 2K on my laptop and all I do is watch DVD's, play spider solitaire, and use a 30 year old land line phone cable for very slow internet access. It was meant for school but thats all I know how to do. CSA #699 Muff #3804

I could always try using my lap top and see if they lock me out on that as well. There's no wireless just high speed cable. CSA #699 Muff #3804

Damb bro that sucks. Best of luck to you. I just got back from doing the Relay for Life cancer event. I walked the survivors lap with my father and the first two hours of the 18 hour event. I'm beat and in need of an ice cold . CSA #699 Muff #3804

I have only demoed once before and the weather was great. But if the weather is non jumpable do you still get to keep the canopy until you have demoed it or do you have to send it back after the week your allotted and be out the $50 +/- for demo fee and postage. SORRY to change the subject but I have always wanted to know this answer. CSA #699 Muff #3804

It would be nice but HH is the boss and he decides what features are on the site. I'm sure with enough interest and a few batted eyelashes he will make it happen. CSA #699 Muff #3804

Looks great. What kind of canopy is it? This wouldn't happen to be your first new canopy would it. You know what that means . CSA #699 Muff #3804

I was going to ask about the same thing but opted to do a search first. A buddy list would be GREAT it could be a separate window kinda like they have on AOL. With permission from the user it could even include those that are invisible. It could be a feature for those Premier Members or not. CSA #699 Muff #3804

No, THANK YOU for your kind words and support. After reading your post it got me to thinking how US adults have said in this thread it was so difficult going through our treatments and how we don't know if we could do it all over again. I have to think about the KIDS who at such young ages have gone through more treatments and hardship than I could even begin to emagin. The kids deserve some hugs as well. Those little guys are some tough cookies and never complain once about it. CSA #699 Muff #3804

US mulls ban on women in combat... Ladies.. What do you think??????????????

I'm tired of hearing about PVT. Lynch. She's a fucking coward who gave up after being stupid and not doing what she was supposed to do. My camp was 8 miles from the town she was captured in. I could see the smoke stacks of the towns refinery from the front door of my tent. Does anyone remember the names of those that died next to her fighting as she threw down her weapon and gave up. How about those that saved her from the hospital she was being held captive in. I'm all for females in combat as long as they can do the job with the same standards as the men. I'm proud of the females I fought along side and even more of those that were wounded and continued on with the mission to see that is was completed. WHY, because they are soldiers and they were doing there job so others could do theirs. CSA #699 Muff #3804 -

Everything happened so fast for my first surgery that I just trusted the Doc. After learning of my 3 different types of cancer tumors I decided to do my homework. I did some serious research at our local cancer center to find out my treatment options. With the types of tumors I had a second surgery was the only option followed by chemo. 8 hours worth of treatment a day with 27 doses over a 7 week period. When my hair was falling out I enjoyed playing a little joke on people. When asked how I was doing I would pull out a pinch of hair, show them and then ask them how do you think I'm doing . I was called a sick SOB more than once. It make me CSA #699 Muff #3804
