  1. Step away from the bong... We are all engines of karma
  2. The US govt legislated oil refineries out of business, in practical terms. That's why we haven't had any new refineries built in the US for a very long time. We are all engines of karma
  3. Only while oil is >$60/bbl. Sand oil is very expensive to process. Ever try to run sand through a compressor? It doesn't go very far with gravity flow alone. We are all engines of karma
  4. At the same time? Must see video!!! We are all engines of karma
  5. And you never have typos? I'm not saying his blade isn't dull, or sharp. Can't tell from a typo... We are all engines of karma
  6. Do you, while hungover? Do you, while hungover? Lost me on this one... Have you had a personal problem with smoking? No, the US is actually quite lenient with DUI compared to most European countries. We are all engines of karma
  7. So does alcohol, nicotine, even caffeine. What else was going on with these people? Probably much more than MJ. See above. Just proving my point... Much more than MJ going on there. Remember, you're at an inpatient hospital making these observations. Clearly, they were delusional Had the doctors ever smoked pot? How did they know? Much more than MJ going on there... See above. Much more than MJ going on there... Well, looks like doctors that can't diagnose beyond MJ usage are setting the bill. You've lumped MJ with others. Did you ever take a statistics course? 11. Exactly! Our country allows for "personal responsibility" with skydiving. It doesn't do so for marijuana use. We are all engines of karma
  12. Sounds like a noun to me. Kind of looks like one, too. We are all engines of karma
  13. Now, that's a phrase Is it in the DSM? We are all engines of karma
  14. How so? I disagree with you on this one. Not at all. Cocaine is derived from cocoa leaves by soaking it in industrial solvents. Heroin is derived from opimum plants, using a process I'm not familiar with. Agreed. Stay away from them. We are all engines of karma
  15. Why would I do that? Just because it grows out of the ground doesn't mean I'm going to ingest it. BTW - none of the items mentioned by you are illegal. We are all engines of karma
  16. Did I kill another thread? We are all engines of karma
  17. No, not yet I've just caught up on this thread. Alot of people are discussing God as a noun. To me, personally, that's non-sensical. JackC used to see God as a noun, but it didn't work out for him. He now chooses to ignore God as anything worthy of consideration under that name. BillVon, Kallend, Zennister haven't really given any inclination as to whether they view God as a verb or noun. As I've described elsewhere, I personally see God as a verb. Nothing more, nor less. See my sigline We are all engines of karma
  18. Medical students say that poisoning is always a matter of dosage. I don't know, but I expect that the other stuff you had in mind doesn't grow out of the ground (as consumed). We are all engines of karma
  19. Now that's something I hadn't considered. I hope that's the case, also. We are all engines of karma
  20. WTF??? http://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/2006/09/bin_laden_gets_.html ======================================== Osama bin Laden, America's most wanted man, will not face capture in Pakistan if he agrees to lead a "peaceful life," Pakistani officials tell ABC News. The surprising announcement comes as Pakistani army officials announced they were pulling their troops out of the North Waziristan region as part of a "peace deal" with the Taliban. If he is in Pakistan, bin Laden "would not be taken into custody," Major General Shaukat Sultan Khan told ABC News in a telephone interview, "as long as one is being like a peaceful citizen." Bin Laden is believed to be hiding somewhere in the tribal areas of Pakistan, near the Afghanistan border, but U.S. officials say his precise location is unknown. In addition to the pullout of Pakistani troops, the "peace agreement" between Pakistan and the Taliban also provides for the Pakistani army to return captured Taliban weapons and prisoners. "What this means is that the Taliban and al Qaeda leadership have effectively carved out a sanctuary inside Pakistan," said ABC News consultant Richard Clarke, the former White House counter-terrorism director. The agreement was signed on the same day President Bush said the United States was working with its allies "to deny terrorists the enclaves they seek to establish in ungoverned areas across the world." The Pakistani Army had gone into Waziristan, under heavy pressure from the United States, but faced a series of humiliating defeats at the hands of the Taliban and al Qaeda fighters. "They're throwing the towel," said Alexis Debat, who is a Senior Fellow at the Nixon Center and an ABC News consultant. "They're giving al Qaeda and the Taliban a blank check and saying essentially make yourselves at home in the tribal areas," Debat said. We are all engines of karma
