  1. I live in Westchester County, New York (just above NYC). There's alot of people here. It's getting to the point where I don't like driving outside of my town. A road trip on any of the major roads invariably involves a near collision, because of aggressive drivers. Don't even get me going on motorocyle drivers who think they are Jedis... 2. Upon further investigation here, I had a very interesting chat with friend of mine. His point was: Since when did the Ottoman empire issue land deeds? In general, most people weren't allowed to own property. I'm not denying a displacement of Palestinians has occurred. I just wanted to put this on the table, and see any reponses. 5. Is there another classification you could suggest? I've had a couple of real-life out of body experiences (OBEs). It was those personal observations that really started me asking these questions. I've also met several people who have had OBEs. OBEs count as reasonably reproducible observations, IMO. Yep, been there, more than once. It's kind of uncomfortable. Made me give up meditation as I was pursuing it. Decided to get in an inner tube, and keep the cooler close by. Where would you put that dividing line? We are all engines of karma

  17. Let me be perfectly clear here, in my reply. I do not have a vested interest in the outcome of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. So, in practical terms, I really don't care what happens. On that note, Agreed. How do you define confirm? Seems thousands of Palestianians, from what appear to be a collection of large and extended families, are claiming ownership to land their families have owned sinced Ottoman times, actually producing land deeds to prove their point. That in itself must count as a confirmation of something. Lots of reproducible observations here. Sure. Agreed. But, that doesn't mean the material on that website can't be substantially reasonable. I've read Al-Jazeera's english website now several times. The opinion articles are reasoned, and pretty well at that. The small fraction of material I've read on www.palestineremembered.com is quite reasoned. Probably not. Of course. These are very emotional, long running issues, for both sides. 18. I've started reading this. There is alot of material. Seems to confirm what the Palestinians are claiming - there land was taken from them. We are all engines of karma

  20. Meet the boyfriend. Make sure he understands the birds and bees, and subsequent lifetime deductions on his paycheck. Then, show him your gun. Let him know that he can run, but he sure as hell can't hide. If his pants are hanging around his knees, make sure he understands that he can't even run. You are in charge. Just do it.
