  1. Thank you for the compliment. Unfortunately, I'm _not_ drunk right now. I'm literally in shock by what I read in this article. We are all engines of karma
  2. Read the article. As I stated earlier, I am in shock by what I read. My one quote summed up, to the best of my abilities at this point in time, my summary of my emotions. My point, in posting this article is: We are in a culture clash. That is not generally recognized, and it concerns me, greatly. We are all engines of karma
  3. There isn't a "10% group" of them running around killing people, either. We are all engines of karma
  4. She has her rabies shot. We are all engines of karma
  5. BWAHAHAHA I'm literally in shock from that article. They will never turn on their own, i.e., show us the bad guys. We're in a culture clash. Full blown, no doubt about it. We are all engines of karma
  6. I don't know if she's been bitten, thus the question. She's catching bats, keeping them alive and playing with them, then killing them. We are all engines of karma
  7. She's an excellent tree climber. And, it only happens at night. We are all engines of karma
  8. http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/world/AP-Saudi-Banning-Women.html From the article: I've heard the "Kaaba" is a meteorite (...or, whatever it's called once it hits the ground). It simply amazes me that so many people pray to a rock, 5 times a day. To think there are folks in the US who actually want to treat them as rational beings. We are all engines of karma
  9. Then, I'm good. Thanks! Where is she getting them? Did she find a nest, or is she swatting them out of the sky? We are all engines of karma
  10. That's a bit pessimistic. If it were to happen today, we would take some atomic bombs, but probably not hydrogen bombs. Then, I expect we would utterly destroy those countries with conventional weapons. There is a reason the US govt bond has been the staple for everyone in the financial world. It is considered the base case, "riskless" as they call it, i.e., we'll always pay. Literally, the only thing that could change that is an aggressive invasion by superior beings from outer space. Myself, included. We are all engines of karma
  11. Nah, not a chance We are all engines of karma
  12. My girl cat is catching bats at night, now. Don't ask me how she's doing that. Should I be concerned, e.g. rabies? We are all engines of karma
  13. We're fighting with both hands tied behind our back in those countries. As long as we can stand the body punches for the first few weeks, they won't stand our body punches when we get to them. No. I'm not talking about forever. I'm talking about right here, right now. We are all engines of karma
  14. If the US military ever takes their gloves off, no one will stand toe-to-toe with us. We are all engines of karma
  15. That was the torture! None of those guys like water. We are all engines of karma
  16. I graduated at the top of my class in engineering. Got a letter from Rickover inviting me to join the nuclear navy. Went to go sign up, but got turned down - deaf in my right ear from birth. It was a sad day. I still feel like I missed out. We are all engines of karma
  17. Did you listen to W? It's not torture!!! We are all engines of karma
  18. Thanks, Remi. That was a good read. Early in my life, I worked as a Chemical Engineer for Chevron. Spent 6 months in Salt Lake City at a prototype shale oil refinery. Nasty shit. At that time, economics called for at least $70/bbl for the technology to make money. Nice to see progress has been made. Come to think of it, Canada is much easier to invade than any Middle East country I know of We are all engines of karma
  19. My male cat is sitting on the porch, now, eating a bird he caught this morning. He's very proud of himself. We are all engines of karma
  20. As a matter of fact, I did! We are all engines of karma
  21. My male cat is just like that. And, he's only a year old. Kills something at least once a day, and then eats it. Has plenty of food in the house. He eats that, too. We are all engines of karma
  22. LOL!!! We are all engines of karma
  23. So, what does that all work out cost wise? $5k??? We are all engines of karma
  24. We would own the oil in that scenario. Hands down. We are all engines of karma
