How about getting a metal detector in the police station? Courthouses have them all the country...why not police stations? Apparently the whole "yeah but we've got guns to take care of them' really didnt make much difference in this case...sure the gunman is dead but there are still 4 cops recovering in the hospital. And no matter what laws you enforce to remove guns will prevent loons from going crazy and acquiring a gun to do their bidding.

Well it looks like now this woman will not only have a massive hospital bill...but she's also have to be even more depressed that she's got to buy a new taxi as well. What a maroon. This lady could have used a few jumps and this could have been a different outcome.

To me, I think the idea of the Trinity seems to be more accuarte. The Son would represent the love and friendship/relationship of God. The Spirit would represent the love and guidance of God. The Father would represent the love and discipline of God who holds us accountable for our actions just like a loving father would. Ignorant children usually hate discpline and often rebel. Going to church certainly isn't necessary for spiritual life. The idea is to assemble and help edify those who believe. Politics shouldn't be involved. Perhaps you are a man that can change all that nonsense. That's odd...I think we'd see ourselves for who we actually are and what we can actually acheive. IMO, that idea can be very dangerous. To me God is like a friend. I dont see him as some grand ruler that overpowers me. but rather someone I can confide in and give thanks. I don't go to church because its too political for me, but I believe in god and I think that if we saw god in his true form he could quite possibly look like an alien. But I see him as an equal not as the creator of all. This could have something to do with my name, but I believe in him...just not like everyone else does.

Most of what I learned in that class came from all the books we read, not out of the professor's mouth. We also had some Vets come in and speak to us, etc. College is not some scary secret society where professors preach lies and it is taken as gospel. Generally a lot of serious study and research is done. Everyone is encouraged to reach their own conclusions. Frankly, we are mostly spoon fed your point of view by mainstream society (Vietnam movies, etc). Someone has to question the government line occasionally or we end up becoming what we thought we were fighting in that war. Ive used a lot of video editing applications in the past and while I've never used this one...just highlight the area to which you want to eliminate...then cut it...the area should go away...including the transition. Although this solution may vary from this application.

I dont drink at work Jim, and the Jets match up with the Steelers better than the Patriots do. They have Revis Island and I personally see Hines Ward sitting on the sidelines crying like a bitch because Revis shut him down over and over again.
