TX GOP Gov. Rick Perry: "Keep fags out of the Boy Scouts!"
regulator replied to Andy9o8's topic in Speakers Corner
-------------------------------------------------- Here's something I never admitted to until I was 18 to my mother. When I was 12 I went off on a long weekend camping trip(at boy scout camp) with a new older I guy I looked up to. He mentioned...hey we rode together why dont we sleep in the same tent. I said sure because I was young and alot more innocent than I ever am today. We set up our tent and then went to the main lodge area and watched flash gordon and played with some new fangled thing called an apple computer. I was getting tired so I went to went to lay down and when I fell asleep, I woke up and it was raining. So I looked over and the guy that rode with me said...hey just unzip your sleeping bag (because mine was soaked from rolling up against the tent) and well lay mine on top and yours on bottom. Sure, whatever. So I fall asleep and I wake up. His hand was in my pants. Ok whatever I guess he was just sleepwalking with his hands. I go back to sleep. I wake up again...Hand in my underwear again. OK...pull it out and go try to go back to sleep and I feel him get on my back and then he proceed to tell me if I scream he would break my neck. Then he proceded to do some bad things to that 12 year old kid. I got home still in some state of shock, and I happened to turn on the TV...my parents were still gone at the time. I started watching TV and there was this gay rights parade on TV. They kept saying about how gay people were people too and I kept wondering...am I gay now? Is that me? I felt bad and found my dads service revolver and stuck it to my head because I didnt want to wear a dress and like other dudes. Something in my mind said no and I hid it back in his drawer. I didnt ever tell her until after I graduated (6 months late because i quit high school due to conflicts at home and at school...it didnt help that I liked to be different and went to an all redneck highschool). But she asked...oh why dont you ever talk about russell that nice guy from boy scouts. I said fuck that motherfucker. Why? Then I told her why. To this day if she knew what he looked like she would have choked him with her bare hands. Now I'm not saying everyone in the boy scouts was like this. In fact, this was the only person I met in the entire time that exhibited those traits. I even see my troop leader...Mr Batson and I have a great deal of respect for him because he is a good man. But when you sit up on your high horse do you think about situations like this? Or only about the equality of gay people? I saw him around 15 years ago when I was in my late 20s'. He looked the same and if I wasnt so fucked up on drugs I probably would have kicked his ass. It took years to get over that. I guess its possible some of that still lingers with me. But when you stand in judgement, make sure you think of the entire picture, not just one side of it. -
This is how I work. I would fit into that exact category..except I dont own a gopro. In fact I wouldnt jump with one until I have several hundred jumps. Just like I wouldnt ever point point a weapon at someone unless I meant to defend myself with one. There are a lot of informed, well trained people who would never harm someone unless they had harm intended on them. Stripping rights of people like this to acheive some feel good legislation that doesnt acheive anything isnt something I'm comfortable with.

So if this discussion was about some 50 jump wonder getting on a load with a gopro would you still say that? My nephew is in the Navy. My father was an officer in the army and I was in the army myself. Many posters on here have no idea what its like to serve and precious few know the true reasons of why they are able to keep going. The short answer? The man right next to them. He did deserve better. Now all we can do is try and better ourselves because of what happened to him. Others will just use it as a tactic for political gain.

Bill, Ive got alot of respect for you but this statement is asinine. As I've mentioned before, the NRA's recent exploitation of mass murders to sell guns and push their agendas is going to backfire on them. That is completely rediculous. How about feinstein proposing a bill that would essentially end the 2nd amendment. Perhaps THATS why so many firearms have been purchased recently. To say it was solely on the NRA specically knocks your credability down several pegs. Stop hanging out with kallend. I expected much better from you.

I think the same thing happened with some type of theme park around the houston area. They havent even broken ground yet either. I'm not quite sure on the fact that its a theme park, but its something to that effect. Maybe wendy, since she lives here can remember hearing something about this on the news. I think this might be it http://www.facebook.com/pages/Earth-Quest-Adventures-Houston/240136904264

That should do it. In general, a fallacy is an error of reasoning, used, often intentionally, to win an argument. You’ll find that the pseudoscience pushing crowd love logical fallacies because, frankly, they are so easy to use. And they work so well, because it shifts the argument from evidence and facts to rhetoric and disinformation.

So where we're you when the Bush administration used that same play book to invade a country? Lots of people have gotten extremely wealthy off the death of peasants, while there was no risk to America. Americans with guns are a much bigger threat to the US than Iraq ever was and Al Qaeda will ever be. Says the dude that doesnt even live in this country.

But the real question would be: How would that determination be made that wouldnt strip rights of law abiding citizens?

Judge Doesn't Take Crap From Clueless Girl

If you were the judge would you have said "your one warning, cut it out" or would you have held her in contempt like he did. -
Clowns have killed as well.(John Wayne Gacy) Dressing like a clown could lead to killing,so it should be banned. We should also ban all killer insane clown posse music as well, because insane clown posse is killer. I respectfully disagree, but that doesnt mean what you said wasnt pure gold. http://www.heyreverb.com/blog/2012/08/14/gathering-juggalos-photos-2012/54319/#5

I will admit that parades are overrated, I would like to know why its necessary to have sportslike type commentators up in the booth blathering about random crap.

In the beginning of the exchange between the judge and the lawyer, I think the lawyer indicated that she had no priors. -

I think if she said yes sir a few more times previously and didn't elaborate when he asked her questions regarding what kind of assets she had then she probably wouldn't have received nearly as much of his wrath. -

I've always found that an odd technicality. "Quit trolling" is acceptable, because it addresses the words, but "you're a troll" is not because it addresses the person. Of course, where on the spectrum should "get a brain or shut the fuck up" fall? It's a suggested action, that makes some pretty straightforward implications. Is it a personal attack? Apparently not. Still having trouble with that double standard? ------------------------------------------------------- How about instead of hiding behind your computer spouting nonsensical shit non stop you actually do something about gun control. Head on over to the nearest ghetto chose to your house and pull out your megaphone and ask all the criminals to hand over their guns to you. Let me know how that works out for you. In the meantime keep trollin because THATS ALL YOU GOT

Now we know why FL has one of the highest CCW rates per capita
regulator replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
You can skew the words to get whatever result you acheive. In the end these people were supposed to do their job and failed. Quite similarly to your attempts at derailing all gun threads with asinine statements that have no pertinance to what the OP posted. -

So in this case the gun would be just as useless as your all of your posts. Hows the weather under that bridge? -
Nugent OWNS P Morgan (number 6 for those of you who care)
regulator replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
KATY, Texas -- In the wake of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., CNN host Piers Morgan has called for much stricter gun control. On Monday, Morgan taped a broadcast to find out why Texans love guns. While he was doing interviews and shooting an AR-15 at Tactical Firearms, protestors lined up outside. "He doesn't want to hear anything that we have to say, he's only doing this for ratings" said Janine Bounds, of Splendora. "I mean who watches his show." Plenty of Texans showed up to throw in their two cents about gun control. Gary Harden, of Katy, said he managed to meet the host. "He gets credit for showing up. Okay. But that’s about it,” said Harden. “He comes here to think he can change our minds, but he doesn't wanna come here to open his mind.” One of the few people who did get to speak his mind on “Piers Morgan Tonight” was Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott. "When it comes to talking about limiting our rights, we need to have the right to defend ourselves whenever anyone tries to attack us" said Abbott. Musician and gun advocate Ted Nugent was on the show too. "99.9 percent of the gun owners in America are wonderful people that you are hanging around with today," said Nugent. "Would you leave us the hell alone? Go after the nut jobs, go after the murderers because I don't know any.” The crowd outside consisted of at least one former guest, conservative Austin radio talk show host, Alex Jones. Jones and Morgan butted heads after the Sandy Hook school shooting. "I said well you claim that won the debate but I noticed that you haven't invited me back," said Jones. "Yet, he said ‘oh, you've already gotten enough fame.’ I said listen buddy, you have a half million viewers; I have three million listeners.” Piers Morgan didn't come out and address the crowd, but he did mention the protestors on his @piersmorgan Twitter page. “Rather large protest growing outside this Houston gun store now. Feels slightly tyrannical, ironically... #GunsInAmerica CNN 9pm,” Piers Morgan tweeted http://www.khou.com/entertainment/CNN-host-Piers-Morgan-recording-show-in-Katy--189735631.html FWIW...Piers Morgan can suck a dick. -
I like the part where he tests to see if the outlet is hot by putting a fork in it... follows by DO NOT DO THIS!
