The mayans were masters of time and space. They were so precise that there is only a time difference of 33 seconds between their calendar they created over 5,000 years ago and the most technologically current calendar we use today.

Unless of course you are using the calendar from your computer which has been updated for the next hundred years or so. So you're saying that because Microsoft implemented a calendar on a computer intended to to used for perhaps 8 to 10 years max, that microsoft can tell the future? Or because there isnt a calendar printed out past this year that has the same relevance?

And of course all the increased solar activity that will be at its absolute peak in 2012 could have an impact as well. A coronal mass ejection would be a quick end to which there is no escape.

If you follow each pattern of the previous Baktun's you would realize that nearly all life in each of the previous Baktun's were erradicated. IE In the 12 Baktun the entire civilization of Chichen Itza left the city and never returned.

Actually if you ever studied the Mayan calendar you would know that the long count consists of more than 5 thousand years. The cycle of 400 years is that of a single Baktun.

And on the winter solstace in 2012 all the planets will line up into a straight line for the first time in 26,000 years...this combined the transit of venus...the 13th backtun which we are living...had the 12th and previous most if not all life was wiped out. There are too many variables for this date to be mere coincidence.

Personally they should come up with a new aero package and get rid of those lame splitters. Yes I know it generates more downforce, but its also easier to get loose with them if someone bump drafts you and interrupts the chamber of air behind the car. And there's no need to get pissy quade...all I was saying is instead of just stating Nascar has zero relations with their origins...use your moderation skills to give what YOU think would be a better race configuration that would provide more competition. Thats like saying...oh nascar sucks...why...it just does.

I had a question about the four year service cycle on a cypres2. I bought my rig and cypres a year ago and right after I bought my rig, I got laid off of my job and didnt jump at all last year. I got my rig assembled right before my layoff and I havent even turned the device on. I just got a new job making great money at JP Morgan and within the next 2 to 3 months I will be back in the sky again. However, does the 4 year service date apply from when you bought the product (even if it hasnt been used) or from 4 years when you started using the piece of gear instead. Thanks in advance for your advice, Thanks Paul

How about the 'smart car' a go cart that can be driven on the streets and has about 70 HP so getting up to highway speeds can take over a minute...no to mention getting in a wreck with one of these POS's would probably be fatal. Even with a stuck gas pedal that can be rectified by simply switching the car into neutral...sure the engine might fry but you can probably have a much higher rate of survival than in one of those retarded 'smart cars'.
