  1. I've got an Altitrack. I love it. I like the fact that the face is analog but it logs jumps digitally. You cant go wrong with Larsen And Brusgaard!
  2. I dont have a skytronix but I do have an Optima and it fits into the audible pocket so well I dont even know its there until it goes off right when I deploy. (I have it set to go off at 4k when I pull) It fits nicely and I never had any problems with it being uncomfortable in my mamba.

  4. Way to go lucky. You win the prize.
  5. so GOLF is actually an acronym. Does anyone know what it stands for (WITHOUT GOOGLING THE DAMN ANSWER!!) if you want to know then just ask me.
  6. Got a little Captain in ya?
  7. Thanks to all for the advice and I will try your reccomendations tonight when I get home.
  8. My home DZ does stp rather than aff. They require you to do 2 tandems, and then after your complete those you transition to one AFF instructor until you get your license.
  9. Word...I'll be there saturday! This looks like one of the few weekends where the weather will be nice.
  10. That makes a lot of sense. When I was doing it I was in the standing up position. I will go home and retry this while I've got my rig on my back and while I'm in the arch positon. Thanks for the help.
  11. what an awesome sunset hey wait...EWWW WHO JUST FARTED????
  12. What Dave said is spot on. I just ordered my first RW suit...a pit special by Tony suits and I opted for 'vented booties'. That probably wasnt that great of an idea because vented booties from what I hear are for larger jumpers trying to slow down their fallrate. I hear that fabrics like cordura are more for the larger guys and fabrics like spandex are more for the smaller jumpers. All in all I like the suit but I wish I wouldnt have ordered the vented booties because now I REALLY fall slow. And turn fast as hell...and now I track like iron man on steriods. Which is actually pretty frickin sweet if you ask me but I might have to get my mom (a seamstress) to sew on a patch over the vents close to the booties. But get with your instructors before you order it and they will guide you in the right direction.
  13. I got my new RW suit a few weeks ago and I tried it on and for some reason I didnt try to put shoes on to see how the booties fit until it occured to me last night. At first I thought I was screwed because when I first put them on I had the stretchy fabric on the heel portion of the suit underneath the bottom of my shoe and I thought I might have to send the suit back because there was no room for me to move my legs around because the fit was so tight. But I got in the new parachutist and started paying attention to the formation jumpers that had booties, and every one of the guys I saw didnt put the stretchy fabric around the bottom of their shoe they placed it around the backside of their ankle. I tried it again and while its much better, its still a little tight when it comes to flexing my legs below the knee. Is this just how the booties are supposed to fit or do you think I need to send the suit back and get it re-fitted? Oh yeah I almost forgot. The booties I ordered are vented (Yes I realize I probably made a mistake when I ordered vented booties due to my body size.) Any help would be appreciated.
  14. I think the Bonehead Havok might be up youre alley. The entire faceshield flips up and I hear theres plenty of room underneath for glasses. Of course I wear contacts with my Mamba and I like it alot. Do like the others have suggested and try on several types to see which one fits you best. The first place to start probably would be the pro shop at your local DZ.
  15. Yeah my sister did the same thing...except she just married a lawyer and she already was making 100k by herself already. So she opted to give up her 2000 pontiac grand prix for a new BMW M6. What an asshole. Its got a v-10 and over 550 HP with semi-automatic air shifter with paddles on the steering wheel. Of course she wont ever use that car to its full potential.
  16. I had line twists on my first ever jump. It was an AFF jump (Ive never done any tandem jumps). I just remembered what my instructors taught me and I bicycle kicked out of mine as well and did my first ever jump and landed on my ass. Good times.
  17. Yeah I agree with you..if American Idol came on the same time Deadliest Catch did she'd be out of luck!
  18. That was a line from the movie. Trust me I want to see another mans balls about as much as you do...(I should rephrase that..I DONT WANT TO SEE ANOTHER MANS FLESH PATCH) But the movie is great...and that line I told you was one that Ryan Reynolds said.
  19. Why watch the movie when you can just wait and see him act FREE in the KABOOM commercials!
  20. the ORIGINAL waiting with Ryan Reynolds. He is hilarious in that movie.... I just have one question for you Do you have a problem with full male frontal nudity?
  21. I dont have a policy for me and I dont really care about it because when I die I'm gone and thats it. Who gives a shit about getting an extra 25 thousand dollars after I'm dead anyway? I dont have shit to myself other than my 08 Accord coupe and my fiancee cant even drive it anyways. So I jump without insurance and probably wont ever get any other than what I've already got from my job. Fuck it when youre dead you cant spend money anyways.
  22. seriously if either of you get the chance check out role models. Its with Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott. Its hilarious.
  23. Oh dont get me wrong brother. I'm not bad mouthing you AT ALL. I just didnt like the movie.
