    I think it's just a simple matter of us all showing consideration for eachother. I've been a cyclist and a motorist. When I'm a motorist, I always give the cyclists plenty of room. But I also get out of the way for the motorists when I'm cycling. I don't just stay right butt in the middle of the road because I can. It's a two-way street (no pun intended).     I have known many women (my mother included) who came out of long-term relationships and have no desire to get into another one. My mother has been extremely happy for 10 years without a man. Part of it is because she is okay with who she is. She is not lonely at all. Everyone is different for sure, but deciding to not have a man in your life doesn't necessarily mean you will be lonely. People can and do lead very fullfillilng lives without being in a "relationship" with someone else. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

    It is perfectly normal to feel reluctant to trust and believe in "love" again. It would be unwise to be hurt and not come out of it a little cautious. It's a defense mechanism. I do not believe in the old cliche "time heals all wounds". That is absolutely false. It's what you do with the time that heals. I've been hurt badly by men as well. Just because I'm a little reluctant to trust doesn't mean I've written them off, it means I'm not a fool. Good luck to you and I hope it does get better. It can truly suck at times.     I would imagine most people would close their mouths when a stream of pee is headed in their direction. Something you ought to know just in case you ever have kids....particularly boys. Um, they don't talk until around age 2, so they can't tell you they are about to pee. And it doesn't happen in slow motion either. You don't have TIME to do anything. You learn to cover 'em up as soon as you take the diaper off. Okay....sorry.....I realize this isn't the women's forum. Get back on topic now.     First of all, Skymama, I am so saddened to hear this. My sympathies go out to her family. Obviously by the time our kids are old enough for college, the decision to get vaccinated is totally theirs. I think both my kids have had a vaccine for meningitis, but I'm not sure if it was for THIS type. I think it was viral. What is the vaccine that protects against this kind and can you take it as an adult? I am about to become a college student again soon.     Hey madjohn! It was a tough choice because I came to Byron last June and you all were great. Monterey Bay won out because the rest of the gang wanted to go to the beach. It was quite a view. BTW, I came out there on a Wednesday last June (with my sister and adorable Asian nephew), and you guys went out of your way to get me on a second load (juggled the tandems and such). I ended up chickening out on the way to the plane because of a 26mph wind gust. But thanks so much for making it possible for me to get on another load. I will definately be back.     I'm SO sad for you. I almost lost my baby (he comes to the dz all the time too) last Dec. and it was one of the longest nights of my life.     Hadn't jumped a King Air until yesterday at Monterey Bay! 6 minutes to 15K!!! Couldn't believe it! Skyvan/Casa.....move over! Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

    2 Incredible jumps in Monterey Bay! Did a two way with a guy named Harlan, and another jumper (Wayne), just flying around watching us. Took us 6 minutes to get to 15K! WOW!!! The view took my breath away!!

    Made two fantastic jumps at Monterey Bay yesterday. What a view! Jumped with two very nice guys. Harlan and Wayne. Feel like I've known them for a long time. And the plane....UNREAL.......Six minutes to 15K!! Elsinore, you're next.
