I think what you did was totally justified even if they hadn't been "flagged" on a previous test. I'm a recent college grad (12-03) and I can see the merits of what tdog suggested, but that doesn't hold much water in my book. If you were to allow the students to make up the test what kind of message does that send to the others who busted their butts and made sure they were prepared for the task at hand? Not a good one. Even if the 2nd test is harder it doesn't matter. Taking a harder test isn't punishment, it's a freebie, a redo, a mulligan or whatever you want to call it. IMHO a failing grade on the test or in the class sends a strong message. An F in a 3 credit hour class (if that's what it is) can make a substantial impact on a person's GPA. Granted they are seniors so their GPA is probably about where it is going to be, but it still sends a message. If they have to retake the class, they are out money and to me that would send a message. Nice job. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. Bunny Lebowski: I'll suck your cock for a thousand dollars. Brandt: Ah hahahahaha! Wonderful woman. We're all, we're all very fond of her. Very free-spirited. Bunny Lebowski: Brandt can't watch, though, or he has to pay a hundred. Brandt: Ah haha. That's marvelous. The Dude: Uh, I'm just gonna go find a cash machine She's hot in that white trash kind of way. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. More like she's famous for being nobody. Number 3 in the Celebrity Skank Rank right behind Paris High Budget Crackwhore Hilton and Nicole "Lifestyles of the Rich and Illegitimate" Richie. Except Tara got drunk and stumbled into one good movie (American Pie) so now she'll never go away. Make that 2 good movies. The Big Lebowski...anyone...anyone? Even though she isn't in it she's got some nice lines. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 0/9/1 The jumps were awesome this weekend. I'm in Kansas and it was over 70 the entire weekend which is awesome for the midwest in the middle of October. Did some combat RW which was real fun. Did a few 2 and 3 ways. Landed way off on 1. Now when people ask me if I feel comfortable enough landing in someone's back yard I can say yes. Cases owed for -1st 3 way horny gorilla -1st time pushing the plane in the hangar -1st jump on my new canopy. Packing that thing is fun. Back to the cube. 0:9:2 0 = Although I did have an encounter with an old friend. 9 = 5 on Saturday. 2 of them were on a demo reserve which was nice to fly. 1 spaceball jump, 1 4 way turning pieces although we didn't turn much. 4 on Sunday, 1 of them was a 4 way on my friends 500th so that was cool. 2 = Played spaceball for the first time and that was a blast. First time jumping a reserve. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. Well to get anyone to give you a good answer they'll need some infor; weight, jump #s etc. With that being said the best place to get some information from is your instructor. They know your flying capabilities better than any of us here. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience.
