  1. A friend of mine I hadn't seen in a while gave me one. He saw my eyes water, my fist clench and a god awful sound come out of my mouth. He let go quickly and asked what was wrong. Me: Dude I got my nipples pierced! "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 2. Good: Art at The Skydive Store Ward who use to work for Mirage Bad: That darn weather guy that keeps saying ,"Tomorrow looks sunny with some winds from the south (end up being 20mph winds gusting to 30.) I hate that guy. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  3. How old are you because there is a cut on the age limit? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  4. Nice bike. I like the Hondas. You skydive and ride bikes. Do you want to get married? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  5. Own it and love it. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  6. I figured it was Friday and I could catch a couple of you off your game. Well I'll have to try again. I don't own this one although I keep thinking about getting it. 7. I love the sight listed below and have a few shirts from it, but I don't get this one. I never have understood it. Can anyone tell me the joke? http://www.bustedtees.com/shirt/dikfore/male "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 8. Yup I'm going to take it. If anyone is at CrossKeys on Saturday and sees a guy wearing a Kansas shirt stop and say hi. Also feel free to say, "Where not in Kansas anymore." because I don't hear that from every other person. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 9. Well I'm headed up to Philadelphia tomorrow and will be there until Sunday morning. I may have some free time on Saturday to jump at Crosskeys. Do I take my rig or not? skydivingweather.com says this about the weather "Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers. Highs in the lower 60s." weather.com says this about the weather for Sat. "60% chance of rain, mainly cloudy and rainy" So do I deal with the possible hassle of taking my rig when the chance to jump isn't guaranteed. 10. Would you recommend the course for someone with around 175 jumps? I'm not in to swooping or anything like that, but I'm always looking for information. 11. I'm not a big fan of the Kawis. I do really like the way the CBR600s ride as well as the Yamaha R6s. Both have good get up and are fun on the twisties. If you're looking for a liter bike I'd go with the R1 hands down. It's a sexy machine with a lot of power but still very agile. 12. What? I'm confused. I didn't get anything. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."

  15. Well it's 2:30am here in Kansas. I've just returned from a night at the bars. Before we all left we hit up Q'doba and it was yummy. What I wouldn't give for a nice lady to cuddle with tonight. That's me with a sad face. Where is that drunk dial list when I need it. I want to be put on that thing "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 19. Bike: 176mph 05' R1 That was before I put a Speedohealer on it and took a tooth off the front sprocket. I don't have the same top end that I use to but quicker off the line. Plus with the speedohealer the speed would be more accurate. Sport bikes without them aren't giving a true speed most of the time especially over 90 or so. 21. This is the best response yet. Don't punish the dogs because they have a dead beat owner take them someplace where they can be attended to properly. 22. Well I posted my thanks to Skydive Dallas in Events and Places to Jump. Soemone said it may get moved, so I'll put all my "Thank You xxx" in this forum from now on. Well I've finally had a free day to go do some jumping so I thought I'd head up and check out the new DZ in town. In short I had a great time. Everyone was friendly and easy going. I did 3 jumps in about 2 hours (I couldn't make the turn around on for the 4th ) All the loads had between 11 and 13 upjumpers with a tandem, it was a blast. The landing area was big enough that I didn't have any worries. The packing area was a little rough because today was a little windy but no big deal. The people were friendly Paul did two 2-ways with me and gave me some nice tips. Overall it was a good time not only for the plane but the people. I didn't know many of them but everyone introduced themselves to me and offered to jump with me. I felt the focus was on having fun at this DZ. The people at KCSC were fun to be around. Everyone was friendly and joking with each other, it reminded me of the people at my home DZ Skydive Kansas and I'll be out there, Skydive Kansas, tomorrow as long as Easter dinner doesn't run too long. Thanks again everyone at KCSC I'll be seeing you again soon. PS: Paul get longer shorts or wear shorter boxers. Nobody wants to see that. 23. Last weekend I had a chance to check out our friends up north at LSPC. It was a great time! I was only able to stick around for one jump, but it was a blast. Cory offered to do a 2 way with me and give me some tips on my sit. The exit was a little rocky but the jump was very fun. I plan on heading back up there for their Redemption Boogie in July. If you're in the Omaha/Lincoln area and need to get a fix give these guys a ring. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 24. I'm going to be in Omaha tomorrow, Saturday, and want to get some jumping in. Is anyone going to be around? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  25. Good question and lots of good answers. When I first got Roxton I crate trained him from the go and it was wonderful. After about 6 months I started working again. I put his crate in the kitchen with him, and gated the kitchen. Friends would come over 3 times a day to take him out. The crate training was great. Now (2 year later) he get free run of the kitchen and eating area when I'm gone. I take him for a walk at 4:00am every morning. My roomie takes him out before he leaves for work. I then have one of my rowers come over and take him for a 30 minute walk around noon. When I get home we go for a walk or just play. My roomie got a pup and they play like crazy in the evening. Leo is in the crate upstairs during the day so they don't see each other except around noon. Soon he'll have better control and will be able to hang with Roxton during the daytime. Roxton goes on most of my rowing trips, but doesn't come to the DZ. Left is Roxton Right is Leo "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience.
