So, maybe - ohh how shocking and earthshattering would this be - you might have some Muslim in your background. It is possible you are not so Pure of Blood......... If you stop trading with them (and you trade more than just oil with those countries), what do you think that will do to your economy?

You are dancing around the point Steel. You claimed that a complete religion should be banned. That makes you a bigot in todays world. BTW, how do you prove there is no Muslim in your background? It isn't a race, as was pointed out earlier, so how do you prove that someone did not follow a religion? Are you proud to be pure of blood? Are you proud that you think you can prove you have no Muslim in your background? Do you feel superior to Muslims? Do you really think you can solve all these problems by banning a religion? How do you propose ot police that? Is the US Army invading every country with a Mosque? Or is the US going to stop trading with any country with a mosque? That should do wonders for your economy.

You're right, it is not healthy and I know many women who do not take the pill for that particular reason.. So, if you are already admitting that it is not healthy for women, then why do you not have a problem when it comes to hormones and cows? Or is your argument that since some women take the pill it is ok to eat meat laced with high hormone doses?

YThat is still not a fair statement to make. Women naturally have the hormone testosterone in their bodies. Now, start feeding them extra amounts of that hormone. The result is not really a very heathly one. The fact that a hormone is present does not by definition mean that consuming more of it is healthy.

In a lot of ways those articles say the same thing as I stated earlier, just not in such harsh words.

That may be true, however there are some major differences. The meat we currently eat is laced with supplements and hormones. One of the main reasons kids go through puberty at an ever younger age is the hormones in meat and meat products. You can't really compare the meat eaten by the hunter gatherers of years past with the meat we currently consume.

To a large degree that is what I think is going on. Sorry if you don't like it. Lets see. Father Bush had a war in Iraq but didn't finish the job. Then young Bush becomes president. One of the greater tragedies of recent history happens and a War on Terror is started. Somehow, Iraq becomes a target, eventhough it really has nothing to do with 9/11. There is such a haste to invade that country, that no thought whatsoever is given to the difficult part. See, i9nvading Iraq was easy, we all knew that the Iraqi military would be no match for the US. Many countries and the UN pleaded the US to not act in such haste, but Bush could wait no longer. None of the stated pre war justifications for the invasion turned out to be true. So, The US invades, victory is proclaimed. Now for the difficult part. The part we never had time to think about, nor was it really important at the time. The US was in a hurry to go and blow things up. That really is the only thing I can call it, since none of the pre-war justifications were true. Now the US doesn't know what to do any more. Domestic support is waivering, so now all of a sudden Bush wants support. He wants money and people from those countries he somewhat ridiculed prior to the start of the war, well really any country will do. So, yeah I do really see it that way. The US blasted its way to oil money and wants the rest of the world to clean up its mess. I can also tell you that many other "outsiders" see it that way. I have yet to see anyone make any convincing statements to the contrary. Sorry to read that you lose respect because my opinion does not match yours. I had figured you for a better person than that. Since you stated you would not read this thread anymore, I will take the liberty and PM you this reply, since I would like you to read it. Maybe you can convince me that it really is different, since I do value and respect your opinions.

Anvil, that just makes me laugh. Specially at a time when the americans are practically begging anybody, even the french, to help them with the fuckup they have created in Iraq.. See, it was easy to go in and just blow things up, now when it comes to the difficult part, the americans give up and beg for help. Then tell me, in a time when US spending is at its peak, the deficit is about to bust all records, where should the money come from? To me it makes sense that those who have the most, give the most in this time of need. So, wise Anvil, answer me this: Where should all this money come from?
