  1. No its not. The point is to make as much money as possible.
  2. I think it is pretty clear she has absolutely no interest in making the country stronger. Anybody thinking that is slightly delusional in my opinion. All she is interested in is making her bank account stronger. I wonder what would happen if in stead of hating liberals she would come out and say that she hates black people, or she hates gays, etc. It is pretty sad that she can get a strong following based on hatred.
  3. If that is true, that puts the whole case to bed. The rest of the arguments really don't matter anymore. Kennedy, you mentioned that if he had a resonable fear for GBH which would make the draw legal (assuming he had a legal right to have the gun in the first place), that assault could be argued. Isn't intent necessary in the US to get an assault conviction? This guy may have reasonably felt he was being swarmed and drew his weapon. However, this group may have just passed really close by him on their way to their car. If their was never an intent to do harm, the reasonable fear still could have been there, but an assault could then never be convicted for. Lastly, their is at least one police agency that teaches "wounding shots".
  4. True, just like in about 10 more years southern states will be predominately spanish.
  5. It was interesting to hear her say that liberals are the enemy
  6. unfortunately, the US has become so paranoid that shit like this happens. I keep hearing that the US will not let terrorists change their way of life, yet it seems it has and continues to in ever bigger forms.
  7. Hey, for once I agree with you. Just offered my thoughts on the possible idea behind this stupidity.
  8. I agree, though keep in mind that police generally is allowed to detain without arrest.
  9. First: Then: 1. does that mean you are okay with second and third and on generations of immigrants not speaking Englissh? 2. Does that mean you think your ancestors are stupid?
  10. I know that when I previously lived in a student heavy area, the police had big concerns about keg parties. Mostly for underage drinking, and violence.
  11. Then how do you stop the guys hiding in trucks, or containers in harbours? Only one way, extensive searches of every container brought into the country. result: severe slowdown of traffic of goods. Somebody ends up paying for those delays.
  12. doesn't take into account the severe slow down of cross border traffic of goods.
  13. Which they did by tackling him from behind in front of a live audience. Hey, I wasn't there so I don't know everything that was tried. Still wondering though why the first copper didn't arrest him though. Seems like it would have been the best solution in this case. also wouldn't have offered free suggestions to the rest of the world.
  14. Exactly, which is not something you would want to give him. So, you arrest him right there.
  15. He would have taken that opportunity, in all likelihood, when he was first approached by a cop. what was the benefit of tackling him? he knew they were there and were coming for him.
  16. yup a sentence like that calls for th swat team, no way the copper who was dealing with him could just arrest him.
  17. see, that I can't really argue with and agree with. It is the militia argument and some of the arguments that are quite laughable due to the snake like maneuvres needed to bring the argument to current conditions. There is no militia in current times.
  18. does make a bit more sense. However, still don't understand why the first officer, who this gentleman disobeyed, did not just slap some cuffs on him and took him away.
  19. Funny how you get to pick and chose which part of the descriptions you get to keep and which you don't. Second, since according to your quote the law requires every militia man to provide himself with arms and according to you: There are some slight problems....not every able bodied free man in the US is armed. According to you, the law says they have to. Since that law has never been enforced, it can be assumed it is not in place, it will be next to impossible to get a conviction. So, in all reality, not every able free man between those ages is part of the militia, there are no county lieutenants, sounds like this mentioned militia really doesn't exist. From that flows that therefore the right to be armed to be part of this non-existent militia is in question to.
  20. the man was standing on an empty square, motionless even after it was completely cleared of people. Obviously this man had some issues. My question is what was done prior to the tac team tackling this guy.
  21. if there are no county lieutenants, then obviously there is no militia, if there is no militia, there can be no members, hence no right to those arms either.
