I am asking you to prove there is a connection...so far you haven't done so. Well, you said it was there because you said it was simple.... Calling me stupid doesn't really help in proving your point, but hey, if it makes you feel better..... If you can't understand it really isn't that simple, well than this discussion is pretty much useless.... You do understand there are cities were the opposite happened? How do you then explain that?

okay Ron, now prove that it went down because of that! Anything else happen during that time? Major arrests of criminals in a smaller community? Big employment boost? Showing some numbers and dates is not the same as proof.

To be honest, I have very mixed opinions about it. I can understand their action, though the end result makes me very uneasy. Now the question for me is: Am I uneasy because of the end result or because of the action.

No, I did not...... After it was brought up that the majority of police officers in England do not want guns, I wrote that I thought it would be hard for John Rich to understand people could be happy and safe without guns. You answered for him and said sure, if I could point out aplace where the criminals did not have guns... I replied tongue in cheek that that must be England, since the majority of cops do not want guns.... And you are absolutely right, if a population of a country is heavily armed crime rates go down...Just like for instance in Iraq....their populastion was heavily armed during Saddam's reign and nobody ever got killed......

before you go shooting off your mouht too much, he didn't say anything bad about clay. He was asked if he thought clay was scum. He replied that only if Clay killed for money he would think that. I don't think Clay is scum at all. If he would post that he thought it was great to be paid to shoot up some people in Iraq, I would think he is scum as well.... The way I read it, that is exactly what Darius said.....

And that off course is based on facts..... Funny how you need very specific facts when it doesn't supoprt your position, but no facts at all when it does. I think Rove is an incredibly smart person. Funny how Bush's nickname for him refers to flowers growing from shit..... Like I have said before, he will never be convicted of a crime, Bush will never fire him (he is one of the main if not only reasons Bush has a job), but this time he does smell like the shit and not the flower.

Violating law and committing a crime are NOT the same thing, not even close to being the same thing..... Secondly, like I said before he never fully named her, which seems to be what teh law is against. It was a stupid thing to say to begin with. In the eyes of a muslim extremist, the threat has now been made. They will just use it as further ammunition with their spin on it to recruit and motivate their "soldiers". It also shows that extremists who have no hesitation to kill thousands and thousands of innocent people live on both sides of this supposed war on terror.

Both sides are right. The guest worker scenario was mostly in Western Europe and really didn't start untill well after WWII. Brittain is not really included in that program since they went through a bit of a rough time during those years. They idn't need guest workers, they had a hard enought ime getting their own people employment. The whole guest worker issue is spiralling out of control in countries like The Netherlands though....
