  1. Rhode Island is interesting to look at in this regard.
  2. I don't. Nor did I claim it wasn't biased. As an outsider, I would think the Army Times does not make a habit of openly go after one of the top guys. If I am wrong, I'll be the first to admit it.
  3. now, why doesn't that surprise me.
  4. That reminds me of the four different orgasms: 1. positive orgasm: oh yes, ohh, yes, yes YES 2. negative orgasm: oh no, ohh, no, no, NO 3. the devine orgasm: oh God, ohh, God, ohh God 4. and finaly the fake orgasm: oh steveorino, ohh steveorino....
  5. No, he was saying that a DoD statement defending their own boss should be considered biased. Common sense and not overly difficult to grasp.
  6. true, I saw Starlight Express in London in the late 80s. Was a great show as well.
  7. I think it will be much more than temporary. Plus, retail prices in the US will soar.
  8. Your post is long, informative, but a little biased. I agree though, I am not a big fan of the federal Liberals and would not be happy with any of them leading the country, specially Bob Rae. Ideally I would liketo see Stcokwell Day take over leadership of teh federal conservatives and be our next PM. Don't think that will happen though.
  9. And when countries don't need US $ anymore to buy oil, the FX market gets flooded with them. What do you think happens to the value of the currency when that happens?
  10. Jesus Christ Superstar is my all-time favourite. Especially the originally movie version. I haven't really liked any other versions. Just something about the voices of Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson. A distant second is Les Mis, followed by Evita.
  11. Actually I will remember Dubya as the president who got measured by all not by the good things he did (If he even did any) but how his fuck ups rated against those from other presidents.
  12. That liberal rag obviously doesn't know what it is talking about.
  13. Having the theory to do something isn't the same as having an effective program.
  14. He was talking about some being sypocrites because of their public stances on matters and others merely being idiots or creeps. Where in there do you find anything about crime, legallity or illigality, defendability etc? Calling somebody a hypocrite says nothing about the action calle dout being legal or illegal or if the person should go to prison. It just means that they talk big, but can't back it up with their own actions. The current administration has been caught in that, telling the american people how easy a victory in Iraq will be. Now a decent share of Republican politicians and sympathisers are getting caught the same way....they say one thing and do the exact opposite....
  15. Do service members even know what the goal of the mission is? I can understand that everybodies first goal is to go home safe. But, should they not know what they are fighting for? How can you achieve a goal if the majority of members don't know what that goal is?
  16. The sentence is no surprise nor is the timing of the verdict.
  17. I know kallend can fend for himself. I am just trying to figure out of maybe you responded to a different post?? Where in god's name did he say Democrats do not have to obey the law?
  18. Exactly, so for your plan to actually make sense, let alone work, it should read: Abort all babies and send them to Africa.
  19. There is a slight flaw in your plan. Aborted babies do not contribute to overpopulation, even when we don't send them to Africa.
