I wonder which expense is higher. Costs directly related to 9/11 and the war on terror. Or costs associated with the ego driven, financial gains war in Iraq?
-
Spin of the year.....I love it.
-
That's what I thought. Since they didn't find anything, they called it a drill. If they had found something, they would have called it acting on sound intelligence.
-
Then they should be excused for getting absolutely nothing done. I mean, four years is not that long.

Stopping genocide in my book is a better idea than creating civil war. yes. See, if the US had stuck to their war on terror and kept their main focus on Afghanistan, which is the only war that makes sense. Countries like Canada and The netherlands etc would have had enough military personel left to intervene in Darfur under a UN mandate (one with teeth, unlike Rwanda). In stead the world is focussed on an ego, financial gains war and genocide continues on.

I am laughing at all you fools, this is so obviously out of context, funny to watch your Cons spin and spin.... (this post broughtto you by the rushmc alter ego)
-
It would be more in the national interest than going into Iraq and creating more terrorists by the minute.... Ohh and Bill Clinton got a blowjob.

I haven't looked up the "alone" part. But the then curren definition of sexual relations did specifically exclude oral sex. Hence, he did not lie when he said he did not have sexual relations with her. Technicality? Yes indeed, but I am sure you deal with those often councillor.

You prefer things like: You are either with us or against us?
-
I understand your point there. I am still waiting to hear when the police actually had a chance to do this in any of the last school shooting emergencies.
-
I am not in the lawyer business.
-
I would highly doubt that
-
Nope, but I would happily give up any Professional License for million dollar speaking engagements. ie. the Professionl License really was no benefit to him anymore.
-
How could anybody provide specifics as to what Bill Clinton thought?
-
I can't speak to his motivation, but deals liek that do not necessarily imply guilt. In my job I frequently make decisions to pay people eventhough we may not legally have to, nor do we assume guilt. Sometimes it is "cheaper" to pay some one and make something go away in a shorter term. Sometimes fighting in court will be costlier. really there are a myriad of reasons as to why he could have done so.

Not in the Lewinsky case.
-
Not quite the same....would you be in favour of purposly packing a mal for a newbie and not tell him? The issue isn't having the drill. The issue is not informing the children and parents of the drill happening. Plus, when was the last time a school shooting emergency led to kids being lined up in the hall and being searched?
-
actually I was saying he didn't lie under oath
-
Plose provide the answer with which he lied.
-
You would be in favour of filling the school with smoke for the next unanounced fire drill? In all the school shooting emergencies of the last couple of years, how many times did Police get a chance to line up kids in the hallway and do a search?
-
In the case against the chubby one in the oval office, you are just plain wrong.

Dickhead joins the forces but refuses to pledge alliegance
SkyDekker replied to Richards's topic in Speakers Corner
As an officer is he allowed to try and change other policies? Should he just blindly follow in your eyes? I would liek tot hink our officers do just that, challenge policies they do not agree with through the official channels. If he is a good officer, he will continue to perform his duties, even if he loses in the end. -
What the hell does that have to do with DHS. Those labs don't fall under DHS... Sheeple!!!!!!!!

So, now we have four "classes": 1. those covered under the Geneva Convention 2. Criminals 3. Insurgents 4. terrorists Who gets to decide who is which and what the rules are for each?

US judge exiles a Sex Offender to Canada
SkyDekker replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
Your gripe is with the US DA who accepted the plea bargain and to a lesser extent with the US Judge. I still don't understand why you are harping on supposed Canadian bleeding hearts. The guy is being punished. if you want to discuss if he got sufficient punishment, then we can do that. But that has nothing to do with canadian politics. I doubt we will see many of these cases. It is pretty rare. Don't think a precendent is dangerous here.
