  1. Sure they do...go here: http://www.silksoymilk.com/Products/SilkSoyYogurt.aspx
  2. Can you show me to an article where it states that? My understanding is that the police came on the plane to take them off at the request of the pilot. My understanding is that before that happened they were not asked to deplane.
  3. First of all, I am not against your 2nd amendmend, as a matter of fact, I could care less, not my country. Secondly, your crime rates are still very high compared to other western civilizations. Hence, I don't agree with the statement my first post was about, that an armed society is a polite society. Nobody has yet been able to point to one society where that is actually true. By way of example: The US would be considered an armed society. Yet what are Americans known for around the world? Canada is not an armed society and what are Canadians known for around the world? So, back to the original point of my first post in this thread. Which armed society is actually a polite society?
  4. Lol, the one my uncle has is still bolt action. I have spent a lot of time in Switzerland, have family who live there and have family who are part of this "militia", I havenever, ever seen anybody openly carry their rifle in public. How often have you been to Switzerland JR? You left out the US in your reply. Why are Americans so violent? I thought an armed society was a polite society? Your own country proves the hypothesis invalid. Just as peace or politeness isn't created by the mere presence of guns. Geez, you would think you would have learned from your own history. Lots of guns and violence, little light on the politeness. Show me one society that is armed, where it is the normal to carry a fire arm around and is a polite society. There are plenty examples of the opposite, not so many of the armed, polite hypothesis.
  5. I guess you aren't as good at your job as you thought you were. Suck it up cupcake.
  6. yet, that is certainly not what is happening in the US. crime rates are pretty high compared to otehr civilized societies. Would you say that gun owernship is too restricted for this hypothesis to work? Further, most "armed societies" seem to have rather high crime rates. the Us is one ofthem, Iraq is one of them, Palestine is one of them. Switzerland is certainly an exception, but then they aren't really that free to actually carry their rifle around in day to day life. The theory is nice, but it doesn't seem to work in practice.
  7. oops, I also think guns should be used in the name of jesus to perform abortions on veil wearing muslim women who moved from Palestine to Iraq. may I please come back now?
  8. I think people should base their opinions on known facts, not what they hope or think may have happened.
  9. So, the lied about the gunshot wounds? Maybe they were self inflicted? They approached a house, got shot and responded like every police department in North America would respond, as far as we can see from the current article. The fact that the lady is 92 does not change the fact that when you shoot at cops, you might end up getting shot yourself.
  10. Than flying with Quantas will help you more than worrying about 6 arab man who prayed while in the terminal.
  11. Bit of a odd statement, to put it mildly. I think all people have told a lie or two in their lives. If that makes us all inherent liars, so be it, which also means that cops are no different in that regard....
  12. You are so very right, like the small group of ignorant white people scared of 6 non-white people praying.
  13. One hell of a shot that 92 year old woman. Specially when you consider they would have moved pretty quickly once the first shot rang out.... Since it is JFK's shooting anniversary today, maybe they were all hit by the same bullet....
  14. What is so damn suspicious? The war in Iraq and Saddam Hussein are current topics and I would assume many people would discuss them. At an international airport you would even get quite a few who are anti-american. pretty scary when people are labeled as suspicious because of their political views. Lastly, what is so scary of a guy saying he will do whatever is necessary to fulfill his commitment to the Qur'an? I am pretty sure that America isn't mentioned in there. It is certainly not mentioned that the US must be destroyed or attacked or anything like that Sounds like terrorists have you running scared.....
  15. I have read this whole thread, good for a chuckle or two as people make things up along the way. Specially funny how people cannot make a distinction between anti-american talk and actual death threats, that's just hilarious. All I could think about while reading the thread is, the terrorists have already won in the US.
  16. I agree with the information you posted Nightingale, but I have always struggled with one question. I have personally witnessed a 12 year old coming to the room of his hospitalized mother for his daily breast feeding. At what age does breast feeding a child become "not-so-normal"? To me a 4 or 5 year old breast feeding is really no big deal, if that is what the family thinks is best for the child. But a 9 year old? 10? When does it become "odd"?
  17. Grand Manaan is not the easiest place to get to. I have a hard time believing that he brought a lot of customers to the island. There probably were a fair amount of custmers on the island already....
  18. Coming from a "no-matter-what-happens" Bush supporter, this is a very funny statement.
  19. This has got to be one of the silliest discussions/arguments ever. My hat is off to any person joining the military. Wether they are smart, genius or utterly stupid and I am pretty sure all three are represented in any western army, they should be thanked for their service to their country. Arguing about the average intelligence level of the average recruit or service member reminds me of that joke about the similarity between arguing on the internet and competing in the special olympics.
  20. very true. I would add the Kawasaki Ninja 650, Great bike!!!!! On a side note. Was talking to my insurance broker the other day. he told me he has never insured a Hayabusa without paying out on it.....
  21. Your wife told me the same thing last night
