  1. There are some pretty big economic minds quoted above. I think I'll believe them over you.
  2. Most of the world didn't want the US to invade Iraq, why would they subsequently send troops to help out? Afghanistan is a different story and many troops from many countries are involved. It was Bush's illfated decision to go into Iraq, when there really was no need for it at all...why would soldiers from other countries have to die due to the faillures of your President?
  3. And goldfish will eat food until they die if you give them too much. That still doesn't prove a physical addiction. But hey, think what you will.
  4. I agree with that interpretation of WWII, but you can see that is a vastly different tone than what was originally posted... About the hating Amrican and trolling part...oh well, think what you will.
  5. That is just simply not true. Cocaine does not carry a physical addiction like smoking and caffeine for instance do.
  6. Because I am related to quite a few of them. And quite frankly, the American notion that if it wasn't for the Americans all would have been lost is quite offensive to them. I have family members who fought in the resistance of three different European countries, family members who fought in Europe and family members who fought in south east asia. It was nowhere near a cakewalk, I have sat on their knees, hearing the stories, stories of courage, sadness, loss and victory. Who did you lose in WWII?
  7. Off course it is, just as bogus as saying that Germany would have won if it wasn't for the US. Neither argument can be proven.
  8. So you think that on June 6, 1944 Germany was still considered to be winning the war? How was that Eastern front for them going anyways by that time?
  9. being unable to run a profitable business appears to be a great way to make it far in American Politics....just look at your current President.
  10. Fine, prove to me the first line of your post. When did the US declare war on the Germans?
  11. I love that line...even better is when people actually believe it too.
  12. If he had been Lutheran and it hadn't gotten out until a week later, would you have been outraged? is there any indication there is a religious motivation behind this? Is there any indication religion had anything to do with this? Other than the American fear of Muslims that is.
  13. Hitler declared war on the US, not the other way around. The US was never interested in fighting Hitler. American companies and families were making too much money of the nazis. You might recognize one of those family names. Ever heard of Bush?
  14. And, which tyranical dictators has the US taken care off? How many tyranical dictators has the US supported?
  15. Clearly the country needs to be invaded and the people need to be liberated from oppression. Or, since their Human Rights record is abysmal, a trade embargo should be put in place...right? In stead, you give them more and more and mroe and more business...hard to btich about how they treat their people at the same time though. We like how they treat their people, it results in the cheap stuff in WalMart north americans are addicted too.
  16. Funny reponses from people in a sport in which it seems every second one is stoned or drunk
  17. Which ones? The ones with the foreign names being built in the US, or the ones with the American names built in Mexico? Or the one with the American name, but owned by the Germans?
  18. hat a bunch of bullshit...laughable. I compared Strategy Page to the National Enquirer before, this little snippet just proves I am right....
  19. Does that mean trained? What exactly is the definiton of militia anyways?
  20. Only if the tax was for bearing arms, but it isn't. As Bill indicated above, they are not similar situations. Your constitution grants you the right to bear arms, not the right to acquire those arms cheaply or tax free, or at a limited tax.
  21. Was that part of the Supreme Court decision or your further interpretation of the voting tax issue? I am asking because the parallel isn't even close. Taxing newspapers doesn't prevent the poor from exercising free speech, nor does taxing bullets prevent the right to bear arms.
  22. It would be an interesting social experiment. Take a couple of High Schools, some in rural seetins, some in urban settings and make a gun a required "safety tool", to be carried at all times when on school property. Naturally educate them on how to safely carry and discharge their "safety tool". I wonder what would happen.
