  1. Did you get banned or something? Was it really necessary to dig up every old gun thread for a comment?
  2. Speed doesn't kill....the sudden stop does.
  3. There is some refreshing commentary in that article. Some samples I wholehartedly agree with
  4. Mah, find any thread regarding a somewhat famous person who has died and you will find numerous people making fun of that person.
  5. Unconstitutional, cancer causing naked body scanners. That article is some funny reading.
  6. Meh, I don't think making fun of a sign is that wrong. She just chose a poor location to do it. I see it in no different light than people making fun of people who have recently died. This forum and these boards are full of examples of people doing just that. People just get a little extra sensitive when it comes to the military. I for one don't believe she was giving the finger to dead soldiers.
  7. I wonder what is more cowardly....making fun of a sign at the wrong place, or pissing on a corpse.
  8. It is a joke based on the dichotomy between the sign and the actions of the person. Bad taste...yeah probably...but then many jokes are in bad taste. If you ever talk to the girl, she would probably say that the action itself had nothing to do with the location but only with the words on the sign.
  9. Sorry, I am not black, nor am I on welfare. (They say it can be dangerous to wake people)
  10. Conditions are so bad for doctors in Canada that we now have more doctors than ever. Rate of increase in number of doctors over the last 5 years: 14% Rate of increase in population over that same time: 4.7% Are things perfect? No, but they aren't as bad as many would like you to believe?
  11. You think the majority of people who voted for Obama are on welfare?
  12. So your country has fucked up royally doing that and now you are blaming the people in other countries? Way to take responsibility for your actions!
  13. Well, I guess I look at this differently. If a party wants to survive it is going to have to adapt over the years so they can represent a majority of the voting population. If they just staunchly want to hang on to principles, they may find their support dwindling and becoming irrelevant. Concept goes for both parties (or all parties really). So yes, I would hope that when the Democrats lse an election they look at their positions and see if those need to be refined based on the will of the population.
  14. Buddy, we know your posting history and your lack of facts...why would I do your homework when you are unable to do your own? As a good Republican, shouldn't you take some resopnsibility for your own actions? Stop blaming other's, may start thinking you are some communist or something.
  15. That's neither a correct quote, nor a full quote, and taken out of context. How do you post that and then claim not to spin with a straight face?
  16. To me it shows how pervasive that line of thinking is in the Republican Party. It is good to see that some of the "younger" crowd has spoken up and denounced those statements.
  17. I think it all boils down to some pretty basic principles. Quite a few women are attracted to men in power. Most men think with their dicks for a portion of their day. Military people, even with all the adoration and hero worshipping, really aren't all that different.
  18. They are alarmed by the suggestion that Obama is going to take their guns or severaly restrict them. Rational reasons (not limited to): hunting, sport shooting, collectors, etc. Irrational Reasons (not limited to): Obama is going to take my guns, Obama got relected and he is going to open the borders with Mexico and they are all going to kill me, a Kenyan communist is going to declare himself king, etc.
  19. Right and you are calling it buying now because it may not be available in the future, while refusing to admit it basically means the same thing. funny.
  20. You can restate belief of future scarcity as good planning? Maybe what you do with that belief can be seen as good planning? But that would depend on rationality of the belief. You seem to be mixing a couple of different concepts just so you can only say good things about guns. I have noticed this before in proponents of guns. They will twist and turn in incredible ways to avoid saying anything that could remotely be seen as negative or maybe even neutral. The last four years have provided no indication that Obama is going to take your guns, or restrict guns. Hard to believe that the fear of him doing that in the next 4 years is 100% rational. One would think there are much more important things to resolve in your country over the next 4 years than guns.
  21. lol, you complain about a PA and then state the same thing. Now watch the right wing moderators here completely ignore it...
  22. Hey Gravitymaster, when did you stop sodomizing your neighbour? (now watch Gravitymaster tap dance and claim he never did, or claim it is an invalid question. Anything to avoind giving a (wait for the pun) straight answer)
