    Are they not? I assumed it was sattelite imagery, is that not the case? (I am obviously not talking about the street view images) Google Earth / Google Maps is a mis-mash of imagery. Everything from satellites to low-flying aircraft. The best satellite imagery on it is maybe 1 meter per pixel in most areas (maybe 0.5 meters in some selected cities), which would be pretty useless for a mailbox survey. In areas with a higher interest, there might be slightly better resolution from low-flying aircraft, but usually not. The "worst" resolution is typically the ocean, which in a lot of cases isn't imaged at all, but simply simulated since there's nothing there to see anyway. Thanks!

But just don't stand next to the President and say the rich need to pay more taxes. Fork tongue. Do you know why he advocates for the rich to pay more taxes? He stands next to the President, President says the rich need to pay more, Buffet says the President is right and the rich need to pay more taxes, they go off screen, President signs some bill/executive order that has a nice tax advantage for Buffet. Pretty simple. Yeah, I didn't think you did. Maybe if you put your preconceived notions aside for a second and look into why Buffet is advocating for it, you might understand. Doesn't mean you agree, but at least you would understand.

So maybe another couple of 100 million per year for that? Here I was thinking Republicans wanted smaller government.

    For those who tought they had insurance and ended up having to claim bankruptcy cause their insurance didn't pay for much. Or for those who died because their insurance didn't cover. hmmm. my mother died right here in Ontario despite our much-vaunted (but certainly overblown) single payer health care. from something that shouldn't have happened in a province where everything is supposed to be paid for. In order to save the cost of a second ambulance. So don't tell me how much better single payer or state mandated health care is. It isn't. Why do bob Rae and Brian Mulrooney and jack layton and Danny williams all go the states for healthcare? Cause it's better than they can get up here - before obamacare. Every health care system makes mistakes and nothing is perfect. I certainly don't think the Canadaian system is perfect. We do a better job taking care of all our citizens than the US though. IMHO.

    We should ban cars. No we should allow drunk driving, we already have laws that make it illegal to kill people. Plus, laws don't stop people from driving drunk. If you didn't have these redundant laws against driving drunk, this guy wouldn't have been fleeing from a sobriety test and all the crash would have never happened.
