    I thought we did the falling from the sky? The point is that comparing cops shooting civilins with civilians shooting civilians is kinda stupid. Maybe would be much better if people didn't shoot other people so much at all. Both American cops and American civilians seem to be leading developed western nations in shotting people. Combine that with some racial tensions and a distinct Us vs. Them mentality LEO seems to have...and you got a problem. Countering that problem with, well at least cops don't kill as much as civilians do, doesn't appear to be very strong in that sense....

    Bullshit, there were probably more civilian vs civilian shootings since brown was shot than all of the cop shootings in 2014! Now there is something to be proud of!!

    certainly, but I think the discussion is framed poorly when the example is a cop performing a justified shooting in self defense and in defense of the community Perhaps the discussion should be centered around the problem where a young citizen considers that attempting to kill a cop, beating up a shopkeeper, not respecting any of the individuals around him, etc is considered to be 'normal' (hell, even ACCEPTABLE or EXPECTED) behavior. (I'm not being flip, this is the serious question, how do we fix the problems that lead to kids becoming this way?) I think that is certainly part of the story and questions.     You shouldn't be ok with that as a man of any colour. Normiss is speaking to a larger issue. One many here seem to deny exists, or isn't really an issue. To me there are clearly sever racial issues in that community. No, that doesn't mean that the officer should have been indicted. No, that also doesn't mean that this "issue" should now be over. There should be a plan formulated on how to curtail these racial tensions and how to deal with this persistent (perception of) racism.

    There rae some people in Lac Megantic who would probably disagree with you. In short they forgot to put the parking brake on when they left the train for the night. Train started moving, derailed, went boom in the middle of the city and killed 47. The train was carrying crude oil.

Most of us are pretty sure OJ Simpson is not innocent, even though he was found not guilty in court. (I don't know if Crosby is innocent or guilty of rape, I do know that from the way he is handling this he is guilty of at least being a douche bag.)

    Thank you for poitning this out, since this is exactly what you want. Keep the 2nd amendment, even though times have changed. Get rid of the 14th amendment, because times have changed. My first post actually indicated my problem with the 14th Amendment. I don't think that people should get citizenship purely because they were born in that country.

Gas under $3.00 a gallon Oil production significantly increasing Oil imports significantly decreasing Defcit is starting to shrink Clearly things are going very wrong!!!

    Are there any other parts of the Constitution you don't believe in? As stated earlier, it's a Constitution interpretation as when it was previously challenged, there were few, if any, illegal immigrants. lol so is the interpretation on what exactly a militia is and who is part of it. Is your standpoint that if current law is based on a SC interpretation of the Consitution, the law is not valid?
