Yes, but you don't understand. In the US it isn't inequality, it is just jealousy.

If there were no more conservatives who would you get to serve in your military? Because you and I both know you don't remotely have the right stuff to be apart of something greater than yourself. Lol, most staunch conservatives seem to have found ways not to have to serve, to go awol, or to use family connections to get out of any obligations. Those liberals who serve tend to get mocked. Some seem to think only conservatives can be "heroes". This whole glorification of the military is bullshit anyways.

With 9 probably. But 4 or 5 in a day is a pretty frequent occurance in one city and doesn't make the national news. 4 or 5 murders in one city in Canada would make the national news, every single time. Regardless, it was a diversion from Rush. Still waiting on him to address the question. Unless you want to take up his defence?
-
Of course you just picked a number this is what big government liberals do Now that you've got your dig in, you will answer the question?

That is just "survival of the fittest" in a free market capitalist environment. Are you some kind of socialist or something? Depending on the government to hand you everything....
-
Then socialist Canada and communist Europe are performing much better, since violence is significantly lower and has been lowering in lockstep with the US. If socialism and welfare breeds violence, why isn't Canada and Europe more violent than the US? Hmmm 9 dead in Edmonton this morning? 9 Dead in Edmonton is a national tragedy. 9 Dead in many US cities may not even make it on the national news. Now that little diversion you tried is handled. Care to respond to the point?

There has been more than just armed robberies at churches] Indeed. If all altar boys were armed, imagine how many dead priests there'd be. Burn!!! Very few. If the priests knew they were armed, there would be less criminal activity. That is why there is so little crime in the US, the population is armed!

I just picked a number rush. How many government employees have to be terminated to improve the middle class in your opinion then?
-
Yeah I somewhat agree. Though in a global free market, many of those jobs would get lost regardless. Americans won't work in the conditions and for the wages people in other countries will work for. Now, in a global free market, that would eventually adjust. Say another 20 years or so. If you want something faster you will need.........government policy.

The rich have done quite well...and have done quite well for quite some time. Longer than 6 years. The decline in the middle class has been taking place much longer than 6 years as well. Don't think there really is a causal relationship between size of government and strength of the middle class. I disagree For that relationship to hold true, the inverse has to be true as well. That decreasing government would better the middle class. How would terminating 50% of government employees be beneficial to the middle class?

Why would anyone (on this site or otherwise) think a satire piece from a blog like DailyKos is real? Are there a contingent of people here who have defended the actions of police in the original event alluded to in this piece? Also, the notes make the author sound like a complete douche. I'm sure it was a major struggle for him to make a joke based on pushing the mentality of blaming the victim to the absurd. He's a real hero for getting through that for all of us, must have been rough. A real modern artist for the ages, this one. This +1

Exactly!!! With no government the middle class would thrive!! I mean, who wouldn't want to live a fine Somalian middle class life?

That is just because you have very limited comprehension skills. The following is from Anvil's post. Note that bolding tends to mean you may want to pay extra attention. -

As is welfare But welfare is re-distributed money Pretty much all money is re-distributed. Unless you get it first "off the press", after that all it does is get re-distributed until it is taken out of circulation. If you meant it in a figurative sense. Keep in mind that corporate welfare and immense tax cuts to your industry help pay for your salary. If there is some other point.....make it in clearer English please. All I was poitning out that his map overlay may have connections to income as well. He seems to be mainly focussed on race. -

Have you done this for income distribution at all? -
And the chances of getting killed by your own gun even higher.

I think this about sums it up. Like in skydiving, we are all pretty convinced that we would never make the mistakes other people make. -
Like I said, you and I will not agree. Specially when you keep asking me for evidence of a claim I am not making. A claim you have said is only made by you on these boards. But I am sure it simplifies things for you when you can just say: "I blame democrats". Don't worry, I won't take your toy away. Then socialist Canada and communist Europe are performing much better, since violence is significantly lower and has been lowering in lockstep with the US. This wouldn't be the first time you rushed to judge someone from Texas. http://tacticalshit.com/texas-plumbers-old-truck-resurfaces-syria-mounted-terrorists-guns/ lol I assumed it was stolen, giving him the benefit of the doubt. Turns out he was stupid enough to sell his truck without taking off his logo and lettering. My original "judgement" of him was significantly more favourable than what it turned out to be. Since you seem to have difficulty with humour, the question on if the gun was mounted before or after was a joke. (Until I found out there are some Texans who like to mount very large guns onto their trucks....joke's on me I guess....)

followed by: Anyways, I do think the US has a violence problem. I do believe that the ready availability of guns plays a large role in this. However, I don't think there really is a solution, or at least not a solution that would not take more than a decade or two. This is the society the founding father's started, though I highly doubt intended. On top of the violent nature of your society, there is a race issue. As in racism is still very muc alive. You can see how blatant it is here on the forums. I know you and I will not agree on any of this.

Not feeling safe in overtown or third ward doesn't mean that everybody in those areas is a bad person, or that only negative experience can be had there. I don't understand how the US can have any bad areas though, I thought an armed society was supposed to be polite?
