    Oh Canada!

Moose. 1 moose, 5 moose. 1 fish, 5 fish. Damn frenchies. Wendy, Are you going to make it to Perce rock? Some beautiful parts to our east coast! Enjoy the Newfie hospitality, some of the friendliest people around!
  4. Which is present in every company, corporation, foundation, charity etc. at every level.
  5. Please... Guns need to be protected in the Constitution. Sex, now that is dangerous!
  6. Uhm no. Just indicating that human trafficking happens in currently legal professions. Clearly making it illegal to prostitute has really helped.
  7. Bullshit. Jesus was an Observant Jew, and the movement of Messianic Judaism was wholeheartedly conservative. The 'New Testament' is an unauthorized sequel to texts to which we held the copyright, written under Roman editorial authority for a Roman audience, Romans being the people that killed him in the first place (if he was killed by Hebrews, he would have been stoned - crucifixion was strictly a Roman prerogative). What is written in the Christian Scriptures bears as little resemblance to historical reality as Thomas Nast's version of Santa Claus does to Saint Nicholas of Myra. Don't get me wrong, the Hebrew Scriptures constitute the tribal lore of one big and very dysfunctional family (much of which was coopted from the Babylonian under direction of Ezra the Scribe), but they are by no means a prequel to the dreck that is touted as an addendum, either by Rome or Mecca. BSBD, Winsor Ah yes, the beloved "our way is superior of your way" argument.
  8. You don't see a difference between complimenting a woman on her legs and telling her she is not allowed to wear pants at work? Is the workplace the correct venue to comment and people's physical attributes?
  9. Uhm, no. That could be a conversation. People can also have factual conversations. Like when you are amongst your friends and you don't have to speak in code words or hide the racism and bigotry. What you call speaking from your own awareness is nothing more than believing what you want to believe and ignoring what you want to ignore. Surrounding yourself with nothing but people who think and act the same is not being aware; it is the opposite.
  10. The challenge, and the primary non emotional argument used by those opposing, is that legalization gives cover to these criminal acts. And is there action that can be taken for the murky cases of indentured servitude? Particularly when the women in question are immigrating illegally, they aren't in a position to bear witness - it's keep hooking, or get deported. Same has been happening to nannies and maids, should we make that illegal to? If you make prostitution legal, there will still be a criminal element that will operate in that industry, but it will be greatly reduced.
  11. That's right. Verify what you read or hear. Concept has been around for a while. It pre-dates the current reliance on truthiness. When it comes to issues you don't agree with, you have no problem not believing the media. The issue isn't the media, the issue is your selective willingness to look any further.
  12. I voted in favour and I have a daughter. I would prefer she doesn't become a prostitute, or a stripper, or a porn actress or a trophy wife, or many other outcomes that are possibilities. Doesn't mean I think it should be illegal.
  13. And if you combine Oliver and Olly/Ollie you get more than all Muhammeds combined. And if you take all "muslim" sounding names and all "christian" sounding names on the list it is nowhere near close. However you slice and dice it, ron's insinuation is, as usual, unfounded and routed in bigotry and racism.
  14. Pssst! It's a service, not a product; If it was a product, that would mean you could take it home and keep it. You do, it is called a wife and you will pay for the rest of your life....as will she.
  15. Because it is not. Muhammad 3,588 Oliver 6,649 Source: Office of National Statistics But we already know that you don't care about facts. Truthiness and trumpiness are far more important. Facts and intelligence beyond half-bred level are for elite ivory tower types. (Which Trump somehow isn't. That silver spoon, trust fund baby truly understand what it is like to be a common man. That is the type of intelligent reasoning that will stand the test of time!!)
  16. Oh Oh.... http://www.cbsnews.com/news/can-hillary-clinton-really-win-in-georgia/
  17. That about sums it up. Sticking your head in the sand while ignoring reality is America's national pastime these days.
  18. Not Ron's version of American values.
  19. The 200m semi final with Bolt and Degrasse is one of the better sporting moments I have witnessed. Looking forward to the final tonight.
  20. If Kane's predecessors didn't go to the media and expose that she was about to let 6 corrupt politicians off the hook, those politicians would've gotten away with it. It speaks to the mentality of these types of individuals - that they think they have the power to forego justice in order to look out for their own, or to avoid backlash from prosecuting a case that might make them look bad. She certainly didn't get away with her crime - and the justice system is now better without her. You think only Democrats get away with crime?
  21. He posted it because Kallend always seem to post only the corrupt Republicans' crimes. So somebody's got to throw the Democrats' corruption crimes back in his face. They all do it. Just because one party does it doesn't mean the other party is any less corrupt. I don't think Kallend has ever claimed to be objective or non-partisan. In this case, if one wants balance, they need to post their own observation. I think Kallend generally has more pointed out hypocrisy between stance and action. Family values guy sucking dick. Racist with a black child That kind of stuff.
  22. True, though the Russians really could care less about the Paralympics, so it really doesn't accomplish much.
  23. Such a stupid statement. It isn't a double standard, it is different consequences for different circumstances. Not sure if you are married or have a girlfriend, but in my house there are very different consequences to: My wife's best friend calling her a bitch. Me calling her a bitch. You calling her a bitch. This isn't a double standard, it is called life. Normally I would have figured most people should be smart enough to figure this out, but with Trump being a presidential nominee it is pretty clear a lot of people are significantly more stupid than I thought.
