  1. I'm just a truck driver from Canada, not a potential POTUS. But I know that Aleppo is currently the scene of some of the greatest human misery going on in Syria and has been for well over a year. You can not listen to any news of international affairs and not know this. It definitely says something about the man that he does not pay attention to what is in the news. I'm assuming he doesn't have the time to listen to the news as much as you do. Ex. God forbid a presidential candidate would follow international issues. That's what briefings and body language are for. Everybody knows that.
  2. So then the Main Stream Media isn't on Hillary's side? Or is this again one of those situations where facts are trumped by truthiness and feels? Or do we go by body language, like Trump did with his Security Briefings?
  3. Actually that's part of the equation. She is more qualified for the job than most president's in history. Yet there is such intense dislike for her, which is mostly unreasonable. The millions wasted on Benghazi, which the Republicans admitted was merely to try and hinder her campaign. Even now they are calling for another email investigation. This is based on a setup previously used by Republicans in the same position. From an outsider's perspective this dislike for Obama and Hillary Clinton has similar backgrounds. They have nothing to do with their abilities though.
  4. Yup, the loss in respect comes when discussing why so many Americans severely dislike Obama and how it leads to people like Trump becoming viable candidates.
  5. I guess you are a great supporter of things said by Obama. Not only did he get re-elected. I am pretty sure he could easily get elected again versus the current two star candidates.
  6. They are all Republican. This theory is beyond stupid.
  7. Except nothing really has changed too dramatically since those days. And I don't think that is Trumps message at all. I see Trumps message as very similar to ultra right nationalist and racists movements. His message also continuously changes and what is there is outrages it is laughable. Not sure how clearly unconstitutional proposals would allow people to feel pride in the country again? This really is all just based on emotion. Maybe, but for very different reasons IMHO. Except what he is saying today, he will change tomorrow. He has done that so many times now. Is that why you suggest people open their minds when they listen to him? Because they have to guess at what he really means? And just as a side note, not agreeing with somebody doesn't mean you have a closed mind.
  8. Hence why I asked him to explain what he meant. He didn't strike me as necessarily a Trump supporter, so I didn't really see gowlerk's comment as a reflection on Keith. Unfortunately in stead of explaining what he meant, Keith threw a temper tantrum, so not sure what he meant.
  9. Well, she didn't have an answer either, so it kinda looks like you are. Fuck you. If it wasn't for when America was great; you're little island wouldn't exist. So you want to go back roughly 70 years. That is when America was great? And really they should thank the Japanese, cause up until then you guys were too scared to do anything. Other than fund the Nazis of course. Your beloved Bush family got quite rich funding the gassing of millions.
  10. As said before. The stats are not even close to being accurate. Your continued insistence that these stats are correct shows you are trying to downplay what has happened. How many of these doctored stories have been accepted as truth, simply because there was no video to show any different? How many officers stayed silent?
  11. Then quit your fucking job if you can't handle it. Take some responsibility for yourself in stead of blaming everybody else. In the mean time work on the issue of public perception of police. This would involve stopping the us vs. them mentality. Blaming everybody else for the bad reputation police now has. It has taken decades of a very thick blue line to build this problem, it is going to take a while to change it. So far the narrative of it is all the media's fault isn't helping. You can think I am wrong all you want, you can think I just hate cops all you want, you can continue to stick your head in the sand thinking nothing is wrong, all you want. But it doesn't change what is needed.
  12. The truth, it hurts sometimes, especially when it interrupts assumptions and false narratives. But please, refute one thing the Sheriff said in the video. You are using propaganda video from an elected politician to back up your supposedly scientific reasoning.
  13. I hear this used a lot, but what does that mean? When was the country great and what are the measurement criteria? Great impersonation of Jeff Daniels playing Will McAvoy. Nice try on the set up, but I'm not the sorority girl. It's not a setup. Make America great again is a great soundbite, but what does it mean? When was America great? How is it measured and what needs to happen to reach that milestone again? It is one of the main things you mention that you want to have happen. So what would that look like?
  14. I hear this used a lot, but what does that mean? When was the country great and what are the measurement criteria?
  15. Yes, but the stat for Chicago will read 1 bad cop, where really it was how many bad cops? How many knew what happened or parts of it and knew it was wrong, but said or did nothing? Do you have any stats that include all those officers?
  16. It's relevant to the false narratives, just keep repeating it, that'll make it true. Remember the whole hyperbole thingy...... You mean like the false narrative in Chicago? Where pretty much the entire chain of command signed off on the report/fairy tale... All the cops on scene, all the cops who saw the video (except for the one who "snitched" anonymously), all the members of the "Review" (whitewash) Board who exonerated him... Until the day before the video was to be released, when the cop was charged with 1st degree murder. I won't disagree with the claim that it's a very small percentage who are "bad actors". But the "Blue Wall of Silence" is very real. That get's explained away as one bad apple....and everybody else exaggerates too much....
  17. I even stated it was hyperbole. Do you guys not read before you get triggered? Need a safe place? That leaves out a whole lot of cops who stand by and do nothing. I think cops call it accessory to, or aide and abet. Once you wear a badge it is called job security and supporting your "brothers".
  18. Nobody thinks it is OK. And only partisan hacks think it is a HUGE deal.
  19. Arms is capitalized, which usually means a defined term. I doubt toothpicks are part of that definition. I also doubt modern Arms are. We have seen infringements on Arms and most people agree with those infringements.
  20. Yet you used a lot of words for "no". You are like Trump, you flap your gums a lot, but nothing makes sense and you contradict yourself constantly.
  21. Why would you ask that to begin with? The whole email server thing was poor decision making, which she agrees with and has apologized for. I also think it has gotten blown way out of proportion to be made into something it isn't. Even if it was just done to make her life easier so she could get more work done in less time. There was a time people would have lauded that as inventive, making sure what needed to get done got done, entrepreneurial, etc. She also wasn't the first to do this. Care to address the numbered questions? Sure, once you tell me where your line of questioning/reasoning leads.
  22. Then just answer the question, people wouldn't have to guess at what you mean.
  23. Except the equipment isn't what was listed, while that really is all that is listed for the 2nd.
