Justice Anthony Kennedy to retire from Supreme Court
SkyDekker replied to airdvr's topic in Speakers Corner
I am guessing either Giuliani or Cohen. And nothing the Dems could do about it. -
Actually she took a vote of her kitchen staff and acted based on the vote. A better move, since the food had already been served, would have been to walk out and say, "Our staff, made up of several members of the LGBT community would like to remind you that you have a responsibility to represent all of man-kind in your role within our government. Have a nice dinner." Hindsight is 20-20. She had uneasy staff, she decided to side with her staff instead of the customer. Her staff probably like her a bit more now. Maintaining good staff relations has some benefits.

This guy was obviously never a real Republican and is a Deep State plant.

About damned time this was stopped! More battles to come however and unions and changing rules to make it as hard as possible for members to opt out!!! Bastards! I would have agreed with this, if they had given non-union members the right to negotiate separately. But my understanding is, that didn't happen. So, non-union members will get the benefit of union negotiated contracts without having to pay for it. You can see how that likely will result in less and less people paying union dues. This ruling therefor appears to be squarely focused on finding a way to defund unions. In the long run this will likely lead to worse employment conditions for many low to middle class employees. Likely many of whom are applauding this now. I would have fully supported this ruling, if it had concluded that people could negotiate separately with their employer.

And yet as the posting all of this it has nothing to do with Trump collusion or obstruction! Trump could come out and publicly admit that he colluded with Russia and you would not believe him and blame it on Deep State, or Lieberals, or the media.

Hillary and offspring didn't steal money from kids with cancer, like Trump and his son. https://www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/2017/06/06/how-donald-trump-shifted-kids-cancer-charity-money-into-his-business/#713e7d406b4a

There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998
SkyDekker replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
Nothing near as disastrous as predicted even though they're using manipulated data. But you said it had stopped. Did Breitbart lie to you when you copied this over? -
I think the Republicans have done a good job stacking the SC in their favour. I will likely disagree with a few of their rulings going forward. I do agree that it was good they finally recognized that their previous ruling was faulty. Shows that the Supreme Court certainly doesn't always get it right.

She wasn't a narcissistic wannabe dictator with multiple bankruptcies to her name.

Not like this hasn't been done before. Republicans generally applauded this one: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny-news-biden-baker-sarah-huckabee-red-hen-20180626-story.html And now the snowflake needs Secret Service protection to make sure she can have dinner.

What you need to keep in mind is the judge chewin the Mueller team out for bringing charges back from 2003! Which had damn nothing to do with Trump. First investigation? More like the last one! It is so damn funny to watch you and your auntie trumper's try and find some reason your beloved Hillary lost! It gets more and more hilarious by the day So that judge that chewed out the Mueller team released his ruling today. Below a quote from his ruling: "[T]he Special Counsel’s investigation of defendant falls squarely within the jurisdiction outlined in [paragraph b(i)] of the May 17 Appointment Order, and because [paragraph b(i)] was an appropriate grant of authority, there is no basis for dismissal of the Superseding Indictment on this ground." That paragraph b(i) is all about: any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump

I am simply stunned, unlike more seasoned SC posters, that Ron would openly and in a public forum admit to condoning racism, homophobia, religious intolerance, bigotry or any other pretense, no matter how thin or unfair, as perfectly legitimate reasons to discriminate and yet in the same breath also claim to be a follower of Christ. This hurts my head. I think I need to be banned again. He is a christian who prefers to be around like minded people. You seem to make the mistake that you think that means fellow christians as the most important factor. I think it is pretty clear that other factors are more important, the christian part is a "nice to have".

President Trump is not the Governor of Florida and that also is not an opinion of why someone supports President TRump. Derek V Looks like you could have just left the comment alone then, but it would seem you just couldn't help yourself.
-
Which is why the comment was about the Governor of Florida. Is Trump the Governor of Florida?

Yeah, birth control and dinner are totally the same. That's downright silly. The issue is people deciding to not do their job because of their personal beliefs. It doesn't matter what the product or service is. Of course it matters. Some jobs are easily done by others, some jobs not so much. Some impacts are significantly bigger than others. Then there is the issue around protected classes. Why is there such a need to simplify everything in the US and take any nuance out of things?
-
Of course what he is suggesting is unconstitutional, but I wouldn't expect the President of the United States to know the constitution, or care about it.
-
If a country or a state is a business, who are the customers, what is the product or service and who are the owners?
-
Yeah, birth control and dinner are totally the same.

So far, it's merely your assertion. You've not provided supporting data or logic, only the assertion. Okay, who's our president right now? Your reasoning is that because Trump is president, millions of democrats must have voted for him? That reasoning is so flawed that if I didn't know you any better I would think you are kidding. But you probably actually believe that. Trump did say he loved the dumb, I can understand why.

Trump's speech didn't age so well: "So thank you, Harley-Davidson, for building things in America. And I think you’re going to even expand — I know your business is now doing very well and there’s a lot of spirit right now in the country that you weren’t having so much in the last number of months that you have right now. You see what’s happening." https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-meeting-harley-davidson-executives-union-representatives/
-
Certainly not dumb enough to try and understand what you are trying to imply.
-
Nice try at what? I am simply pointing out that if millions went from D to R, then based on vote totals either lots of Rs didn't vote or voted D. That's just the logical outcome of what you are saying.

Yet again, attacks but no content Irony score 100%. How about YOU respond to the CONTENT of George F. Will's article referenced in my post, instead of insulting me. George Will is no different than any of the elitists politicians from either party! That said... Millions of Democrats grew a spine and voted for Trump in November a little while back. Thanks to you and yours, and all the crap you're doing, they're going to do it again! Thank you! I find it interesting that you think somebody telling you what the truth is you find insulting! Fewer people voted for Trump then for Clinton. If millions of those who voted for Trump were former Democrats than millions of former republicans either didn't vote, or voted for Clinton. Not sure that is a net positive for Trump going forward.
