  1. When you started discussing validity of claims related to science by politicians. Your argument is: I don't believe science because a politician said something stupid.
  2. Agreed, I don't think that level of gun violence shows an acceptable level of responsibility.
  3. The Hope the US population will one day learn to deal with the responsibility of owning arms. I have indeed very little of such hope.
  4. That's not what I was responding to. I was responding to your insinuation that nothing should be done unless there is proof of something actually taking place right now.
  5. I thought the Thoughts & Prayers are after people get shot?
  6. And yet we are spending money on trying to prevent large asteroids from hitting the earth. I mean I have heard these alarmist predictions that a large asteroid could wipe out all life on earth. That's pretty damn alarmist. Yet, it clearly has never happened. Why should I believe anybody that this could be possible and we should look at ways to avoid that?
  7. Antifa thought the rules on International Arms Trade were too strict and had to go around them by supposedly planning to buy arms out of country, ie internationally. This is a good example as to why the US decided to withdraw from an Internal Arms Trade Treaty? lol
  8. Nah it wasn't. Otherwise they wouldn't have supported a ban on open carry in the 60's What does a sensationalist piece without grounds have to do with US policy on international arms trade anyways?
  9. Maybe this time the NRA will alter its position on open carry again. Like they did when black people started openly carrying weapons. That wasn't quite what the NRA meant when they advocated for the right to bear arms.
  10. It is a Chinese hoax. It is also a good indication of how positions from the extreme sides are used to avoid having meaningful dialogue and discussion.
  11. Not sure what that would entail. How do you take the politics out of healthcare? How is politics not part of trying to create a healthy society?
  12. Sure it does, cause you prefer the fuck you's.
  13. Makes me happy too. I have curtailed personal and company travel to the US. I have further ensured our company doesn't pursue investments in the US. We are small fish, but rather not invest half a billion into a country set on repeating history's mistakes. We'll invest and grow in areas where "thank you's" outnumber the "fuck you's". Plus, no business likes an unstable environment.
  14. Not qualities I would vote for. But you acknowledged Trumps criminal behaviour and stated that in your opinion the Clinton's were just as criminal, but just not getting caught. If I had to pick between two criminals to run a country I would rather not have a stupid one. I know you will vote against Hillary every time, just like you will vote against Obama every time. What I highly doubt is that you are honest about the reasoning.
  15. That would be masterminding and managing a rather large criminal undertaking. Wouldn't that make her more qualified to be president? You keep stating Trump was the better candidate, do you generally vote for the dumber/more inept of two candidates?
  16. Threatening to lock somebody up is generally a decent way to end a friendship.
  17. Should note that link is dead. When googling for that exact wording, the first page of hits is all denier sites.
  18. Because part of trying to fix a problem is understanding the problem. In this case, motivation plays a big role in trying to understand the problem.
  19. I haven't seen any outrage. Nor do I understand why you would think this is an "either/or" scenario. Violent crime is a problem. The rise in far right extremism is a problem too. Trump having allowed a dramatic rise in illegal immigration is a problem too. Obama did a lot better on that front. Looks like if you are looking to curtail illegal immigration you are better off voting Democrat. But I have this feeling that for many people narrative is more important than results. Hard to blame other people when there are less other people.
  20. "Probably" is a pretty good indication that what follows is an opinion. I can understand you might have a problem identifying fact from opinion, considering your penchant of posting fake pictures as fact. I didn't say anything was "more significant" than anything else in my post. Why do you have to make things up to try and make a point? Maybe add a photoshopped image to make yourself feel better?
  21. LOL, you are posting at least 1 fake picture. But I am sure it makes you feel good. We wouldn't want facts to interrupt anything.
  22. I wish my average tax rate was that low. But then an illness won't bankrupt me.
  23. Ahh comparing apples to oranges. That makes sense. Bigun's received the comments he got because crime from US citizens is a much bigger problem than crime from illegal aliens. I mean in 10 years there are more than 12,000,000 violent crimes. The rise in far right terrorism is related, but still a separate issue. Though the rise in this far right violence is probably partly attributable to this increased desire to blame illegal immigrants for problems in which legal citizens play much bigger roles. So if there is hypocrisy, it really is more on legal US citizens who have a much bigger issue with being non-violent, pointing to illegal immigrants as a source of violence.
  24. Trump has been known to delete and shred lots of subpoenaed evidence in law suits concerned Trump Inc.
  25. Interesting. Considering how many Republicans were very upset with the penalties against Manafort. Every system gets abused, something you will never eliminate. Of course it should be monitored. But if you spend too much on enforcement, those stats will then be used to debate the ineffectiveness of government and the system itself.
