    lol lol Yes it was the implementation of a socialist program to try and prevent more socialist programs from gaining traction. It is called a compromise. Just because a conservative government implements something doesn't mean it is by definition conservative doctrine. Then what kind of program is it? It certainly isn't free market capitalism. It certainly isn't libertarianism. I wonder what it is called when the government takes care of a group who needs assistance? Try being homeless and get a job. Try being homeless and buy food or life insurance. Try being part of the working poor and buy long-term disability.

    It would indeed require some thinking. Since you had programs in place specifically targeting black people, I don't think it is much of a stretch to have programs in place to help black people. When people get treated differently and kicked down, the reaction is: oops, yes we shouldn't have done that, my bad. When people get treated differently and are being helped, the reaction is: this is unfair and horrible, all people are equal, this needs to be stopped immediately.

    The new models are still very preliminary, but if they are true, they are more severe/devastating than previously modeled. IE. they make the need to fight climate change much more urgent.

    That would be pretty close to the definition of socialism. People work for the benefit of the whole and then get taken care of by the whole. You just think that should only apply to the military and first responders, but it is still socialist.

    Well, you did start with programs that were specifically in place to target "them". The war on drugs was in large part aimed at incarcerating black Americans.

    Sure you could, but that concept appears to be too difficult for Turtle to understand, so i tried to simplify it for him in the hope he learns something. Now, I have tried to bring him to the water well before.......it wasn't successful.

    I outlined the context. As a standalone it is misleading considering the growth in the entire data-set. Let's say that population is increasing as a whole by 10% annually. year 1: 5% is boys and 5% is girls Year 2: 7% is boys and 3% is girls Year 3: 9% is boys and 1% is girls Now a decrease in growth rate like that might make some people say that something is happening. A distribution like that is not normal. Some might even simplify it by saying less girls are being born. Do you think a fair response to that is: There are still more girls being born than the year before, nothing has changed?

    And you think the former Secretary of State is entirely clueless as well? maybe you can point to the 10,000 lies and "mistruths" during her tenure as Secretary of State. Should be easy, considering she is the same.

    Yeah, like I said, a bucket of water on a raging fire. Your gun related death rate is nowhere near other first world countries. By any normal measurement you are not doing enough.

    Basically you have no clue. But other people not assuming the same are hypocrites. "Deliberate lies" is interesting, since a lie by definition has to be deliberate. Are you suggesting all the other "mistruths" are because Trump is absolutely clueless?

    No there isn't. Pretty much every adult has lied. Claiming that is what makes all adults alike is asinine.

    Energy production is on the rise around the world. The portion of that energy production that comes from coal is declining. The rate at which the production from coal is increasing is indeed declining too. Production from coal does increase for now, because the energy production as a whole is growing. It's not fuzzy math, it makes perfect sense. It is unfortunate that since it may not be intuitive, in stead of thinking about it, it simple gets dismissed as bullshit.
