I lived in Michigan City Indiana for a year or two and just about every time I went to the beach on Lake Michigan there were quite a few dead fish floating up to the shore. I wouldn't want to swim in it Isn't there a YMCA nearby or something with an indoor pool you can use?

I used to have problems getting to sleep, like tossing and turning 1-2 hours before I'd drift out. These days I just think about the cute chick I saw earlier in the day and I drift off to good dreams pretty quickly.

If he's around? I don't see where the S&TA has to waive it every time you want to do it. Just have him waive it off on it the one time with an understanding you can work with any grad and you should be good to go. Also if the DZO is cool with it, I don't see that the USPA police are going to bust down your door if you're jumping with grads with his permission but not the S&TA's. Considering the DZO can fire the S&TA, I doubt the ST&A would put up a stink that he wasn't consulted in that case either. I think the entire issue is being blown out of proportion. The coach rating is a joke anyway.

If my SL jumps back in 2000 didn't cost 35-40 a hop I probably wouldn't have gotten in to the sport. As it was, I could pretty much jump as much as I wanted at those prices. If I screwed up, I didn't care. It was cheap and I was out hanging at the DZ and having fun. I took 2 years off when moving to Florida to save up enough cash for gear and AFF, tried to quit but was already addicted from my SL jumping. The sport is expensive to get into and that's the number 1 reason most people I know who've tried it and liked it never went any further than their first tandem.

What dates will you be down? Miami has a freefly camp on the 23rd. If you're just here on the 26th Sebastian will be closed that day and the other close by DZ(aside from Miami), Clewiston probably won't have much going on during a weekday. Your best bet would be coaching at Miami during the week. If it's a weekend, hit the events forum and see if anyone will be at a local DZ that can do some coaching for you. But really it's going to depend on your schedule and how far you want to drive.

I don't see why they should. Wingsuits don't ever need a go around because of a bad spot. If 20% of a load is wingsuits, that means 100% of the "good" spot can go towards the remaining 80% of the plane load. If anything wingsuits should save a DZO money due to less fuel spent on go arounds.

Sigur Ros? Think I got exposed to them in your namesake's movie. Icelandic band, no? They have some pretty tripped out vids if I remember. Hmmm, usually always listening to Smashing Pumpkins, New Order, older U2 and whatever Trip Hip / Chillout I have in my playlist.

I didn't care for it. They should've left a lot of things unanswered and unsaid. But the movie hit you over the head with every plot element. Even the dramatic moments screamed "something dramatic is happening" at you, just in case you had the IQ of a 5 year old or had never seen a movie or read a book before.

If he says that, it means he's just not that interested in you. So why take you on the date? Maybe he wanted something to do that evening and figured he'd have a good time with you.
