  1. What happened today? Hope it wasn't too bad.
  2. Ok rookie, here's to the fat chick...they sure are fun to ride, of course until your friends find out.
  3. Moot point...look how many guys did the guard back then and how many even skipped the guard entirely. Just like the majority of American voters, no one really gives a shit; it was not in the least bit salient during the election.
  4. Yeah, and groups like ACLU, the Democrats...you know, the obviously wrong ones. P.S. If you're really fat, it's your fault and you suck. Remeber, anorexia isn't always bad!
  5. What a few of you don't want to see/refuse to see is that Bush did do his time in the guard, he just did it all at once and not spread out (the traditional way)...Has several hundered hours in F-100s; so yes, he did do his time. Get over it. And no, don't skip out...I know we all like skydiving, but that's not good enough to get out of drill.
  6. just for you rebirth...I'll throw so to speak in there at the end.
  7. He doesn't have proof of the Spain stuff as far as I know...the AFF thing makes sense. But the BASE pics looked like they were him. I think they jump around 290-300 mains, can't remember for sure; I just know they were freakin huge.
  8. Interesting...well we could put it this way, lets go with the majority. I'd be willing to be that the majority of the attending members do not want to hear a paegon praying. However, if there's no choice and she prays anyways, then just ignore it if it makes you happy, let her do her thing and you do yours. If there's a cermeony or something in which the majority of the people do not want to hear a prayer, then I suppose it should be stricken, but if there's no choice, then again, they can just ignore it and go on. It's all the incessent bitching that's annoying as hell.
  9. What the shit, I didn't get free music!!!!! I got screwed. But in reality, there's nothing wrong w/ a little incentive to join the military, even if it's as pathetic as 3 songs. However, the real benefits are what you can get in terms of education paid for, healthcare, etc. Nothing wrong w/ the Guard trying to pull in some recruits.
  10. This is what makes it even more unbelievable...he's just an AM490 grad...not an ex-WOB. I don't know how he's survived 5 regular jumps in Spain and 8 (I think) BASE jumps in France. Lucky as hell I guess. And yeah, don't think he ever told his commander. So how the heck does a guy with 5 jumps experience on an SOS system be able to first of all even jump, and second of all operate different equipment and land w/o injury? Insane.
  11. Well it depends on how you take "evangelize the unchurched." I think he has the right to express his opinion/views on religion, but he does not have the right to force it on someone else, i.e. use it against them if they don't concede. You're right, that's not PC crap if he does so. I guess I was just fuming about the broad PC crap that stems from the topic of religion...such as saying "under God" in the pledge of alleigence, or praying at ceremonies. Neither of those two are forcing religion on anyone...people who complain about stuff like that are d bags. My reasoning for that is people are just dumb who can't just live thier life and let others live their's...who cares if someone prays around you, just let it go. And if you can't, you're a douche bag (that's my opinion).
  12. Maybe one Chicago team can pick up the slack for the other T-Ball team up north....1908 is just too damn long ago.
  13. Well that's true....but is something like this more common place in Europe? This guy also apparently did 5 jumps in Spain last summer (non-base), doesn't have pics for that one, but if he got away w/ the France ones, then I'm assuming he did do the Spain ones.
  14. If you can't break an appendage on it or falling off it, it's not a real playground. Sheesh, what happend to the "good ol' days" when we could jump off swings, trip and bleed all over, etc? What a shame...
  15. Well you don't see gun control in America helping our atrocious gun murder stats. Let the good citizens defend themselves and I bet we see a drop then. Point being, criminals give 2 shits about gun laws; all the laws do is restrict law-abiding citizens from fully protecting themselves. It's idiocy at its best.
  16. A guy I know showed me pics last week of him base jumping in France. The only experience he has is when he did Freefall at the zoo back in the day. Apparently, when he was there on vacation, just told them he jumped in the Air Force and they were totally fine w/ that. He has pics, and from what I can tell it probably is him. Either way I told him he was an idiot and lucky he's not dead. Just wondering if Europe is really that lax...maybe just some "rogue" jumpers who were cool w/ it as long as they got paid?
  17. Yes please, can we have more gun control? The more we have, the more criminals will obey them! Idiots...
  18. This whole thing is just retarded. If they did push it on these Jewish cadets, then fine, reprimand their asses. But seriously, this PC world is such bullshit. Everyone needs to stop caring so damn much about when and where someone says "God," prays, etc. If you don't like "...under God..." in our pledge of alligience, I don't give a shit. Don't say the words if it makes you feel better. People need to quit bitching and just get on w/ their lives. Sorry for the rant, but people who complain about PC issues are complete d bags.
  19. Doubtful that anyone would commit suicide like this, and if that was the point, then he wouldn't have gone through the trouble to do it outside a crowded stadium. It obviously had some intent...glad that piece of shit is dead.
  20. "Going to war without France is like going deer hunting without your acordian" - Gen Shwarzkopf Great quote....don't think you can necessarily hate France for the bait thing, but damn they're worthless. P.S. I hate the guys who did this stuff...wish I could drag them by their nuts behind their boat....assholes.
  21. I think it's a tough call, but it seems to me that most people who are relatively inexperienced w/ climbing tend to climb w/ experienced people (I know I do). But a completely inexperienced skydiver is aloud to go by themself and does. I'd say there's more of a chance of the novice skydiver getting a mal and screwing it up or not having a cypress and just going in, or not having an RSL, so the reserve didn't get out fast enough, etc. than there is of a climber getting into an insane situation and getting killed. Yeah I know it happens, just seems less likely...but I could be totally wrong. Just my opinion.
