It took over 25 jumps before I even got passed 10 second delays . I was a horrible student. I couldn't stay stable for anything. Then, finally one day it clicked. I'd just bought a jumpsuit (they couldn't figure out why...they were telling me to take up golf) and I jokingly say that fixed my problems. But seriously...I bought the jump suit and on that jump it clicked. I did a perfect 10 sec delay and didn't slow down from there. Didn't screw up another jump. took me 35 jumps to get my license. So yeah, I always had something too....most of the jumps weren't anywhere near successful. Spinning, flipping, opening on my back, etc. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Thats exactly what happened. Thats what the coroner came back with also. He'd choked on a meatball (I'm sure the report was more detailed than that). Plus, the last time someone saw him alive (his brother) was nearly 24hrs on the dot from when his daughter went into his room and found him. Thats what really has us upset, that it seems it went unnoticed for that long. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Thanks, I was hoping you'd reply. Both of his children are minors. And he isn't married. My Uncle and Mother had been taking care of him. They don't really want to SUE them if that makes sense. More wanting them to at the least stop coming at them for money. Medicare was supposed to be covering it all anyway...from what I can tell. With his children being minors and no wife, who else would be able to pursue this? Someone on behalf of his children? My family are all there with his kids and offering support. I'm stuck in Iraq with nothing to do but steam over it. Thanks again for the reply. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

I'm pretty upset...pissed is more the word, thats why my post is pretty jumbled. I've been thinking about doing this myself. My mother wants to also. It's just beyond me how that could have happened. Not to mention, they didn't even figure it out. His daughter found him the next day. It is in the states, Florida actually. Thats a big thing for me also, to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else. I'll defintely tell my mom to file a report with the department of health. And if she won't do it I will. Thanks for the reply . Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Okay, I've been going over and over on this. My Uncle died this past week. He had diabetes since he was around 10 (he was 45). He had kidney failure and was on dialysis. Ended up pretty bad off and was in a nursing home. Now, he was doing OKAY while in there. Kind of depressed about it but doing good considering. Last Sunday he died while under the nursing home's care. They had given him some food, and he choked on it. No one found him till the next day....his 17 year old daughter had come to visit him and found him close to 24 hrs after he'd died. This whole deal sounds fishy to me. I can't for the life of me figure out WHY no one was in there while he ate...or at least checked on him. My father had been to visit him a few days before and they'd given him a peanut butter sandwich with nothing to drink. My cousin, his daughter, said he still had his plate...but there was again nothing to drink with it. Sorry if this sounds sketchy, it still is to me. I've gotten all my details from my family over the phone. They are pretty upset about it, as am I. My thing is....my Mom and my other Uncle have to pay for this. He didn't have any insurance...and now the nursing home is trying to get more money out of them. I'm never one to say sue anyone. However...this is going to cost my Mother and Uncle a whole lot of money it seems...not to mention the nursing home is trying to get more money of of them also. Does anyone else think my parents and my other Uncle should make the nursing home pay some, if not all, of the costs? Just seems like a bad deal to me. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Dangerous they are. Growing up we used to run coon dogs. I've seen on more than one occasion one get cornered and either kill the dog or send the dog running with its tail tucked. 9 times out of 10 the raccoon won. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

I don't know about deer. But, I've seen them kill a few dogs. Crazy little demon animal if you ask me. edit to add: Yeah, note to self....read the WHOLE thread before posting. I was talking about the Coon...not the bird. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Nah, I kept screwing shit up. Crash landings, couldn't stay stable to save my life, etc. So, he'd always be like, way to go turbo, good job....etc. Never heard the turbo=gay thing...might have to think about taking the stickers off my helmet then ....nah. I'm secure enough in that. Got a wife and two kids. Plus, it'd be a pain in the ass to peel them off of there! Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Whats funny about this is....my nickname IS Turbo. LOL, no shit. Before I'd ever even seen the movie. My instructor always called me turbo. Good job Turbo, nice one Turbo, etc. It stuck. I'll have to post a picture of my helmet. The bad thing is, everyone thinks thats why I have the name....eff Dennis Rodman! Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Nope, thats why I put "if you were in, all is good". Because I feel the same way. You signed on the dotted line...deal with it. However, it boils my blood when people who have never served try and sit back and spout words of wisdom like that. I'd just had that happen too, overheard a contractor telling a soldier that. And I know for a fact this guy has never served a day in his life and gets paid $150,000 a year to sit in an office and take care of soldiers. However, had his Platoon Sgt just told him to suck it up....I'd have . Just depends on who the comment is coming from. I'll STFU now . Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Mines Jordan. I go by it. My first name is James....and every other male in my family has that first name. Needless to say we all go by either our middle name's or a nick name. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

If anyone other than Jimmie or Jeff is gonna win it....that's who I'd hope for. He is a great driver and has raced all those years and ended up second too many times. He sure has been close these last couple of years! Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Ain't that the truth. For a while (when they announced they were switching to NEXTEL from Winston, the new car, etc) I was pretty pissed off and was thinking of taking up football . Then, thought about it.....and said screw that. NASCAR is NASCAR. I just roll with the changes. I don't agree with a lot of them....but when it comes down to it I still love it. Its an awesome sport. Nothing like sitting in grandstands with 200,000 other people screaming and can't hear a damn one of them (not to mention being one of two Jeff Gordon fan's among a sea of red hats). Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

\ Yep, I love it. Wow, Toyota. I can't use the excuse I want to (they should only allow American made makes), because technically they are "American" cars. Personally I don't think its gonna be such a big deal, at least I hope not. Toyota has a lot of money and I just hope they don't jump in and dominate (I'm a Chevy man, and would be to be beat by a damn Toyota ). I wish NASCAR wouldn't have allowed them in. But it's already done....so now I just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope the trucks are an indication of what to expect. They are competitive, but not dominant. I like competition, not domination. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Definitely, and that isn't even the nicest out there. I'd also recommend the Rousch shop, Richard Childers (RCR), Yates, all there in Mooresville. Shoot over to Concord and hit up Hendrick Motorsports also. Rusty opened a new shop in Mooresville as well. 95% of the Cup, Busch, and Craftsman teams are within about a 30 mile radius of Charlotte. If anyone is even remotely interested in NASCAR and is ever passing through the area. Stop by pretty much any gas station or what not they'll have a map of where all the shops in the area are. They are all well worth the visit. The joys of growing up in Charlotte. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

I was more talking about Jeff's year. Jimmie is up there again....but he has been every year since he started. Kasey's doing good...I like him, mostly because of Ray. There are some suprises in there though, Denny is one of them....especially in the 11 car. Gibbs is good at picking talent...I'll give him that. Plus Labonte is doing pretty good with Petty's old car. Carl Edwards has surprised the hell out of me too....not doing to hot this year. And Biffle too, although his luck seems to be turning around. Man, I love me some NASCAR. I'm glad that I get to watch the races out here this time around. Wasn't as lucky last time (april 03-04) and missed most of the season. First time I didn't watch most of the races in probably about 15 years. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.
