:10:1 Good weekend! I went down to Skydive Dallas on Saturday and made 7 jumps. Then went to my local DZ here in Oklahoma (Pegasus) and made 3. Got my 200th on the last jump on Sunday. Filled out the appropriate paper work and sent my C license application off this morning. So I owe beer for the 1st time in quite a while! Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

I think I'm gonna head up there. I might go the LOOOONNNGGG way around and go through SoCal and head up. I got 2 weeks and like driving. So I think that's the plan. I'll have to see how long that really will take, but I think it'd be great. I haven't been any farther west the Oklahoma. So, thats sounds like a plan to me. I lived In Pensacola, FL for 15 years. Gotta love the Florida weather. LOL, even in Feb I got hit with bad weather. The one weekend that I plan to go and jump its rainy/windy the whole time . Gotta love that. I think I am probably gonna hit up the left coast this time. Okay, posted this in the bonfire without thinking. LOL, I really would appreciate suggestions and in the Bonfire it'll be off the front page by the end of the day. So, I get home sometime in mid Aug and should be on leave from around 20 Aug-1 Sept. I haven't jumped since Feb and thats #1 on the List. I'd also like to be able to have other options for my kids. My wife jumps also...so that's not an issue. I made the thread in the bonfire a poll. Probably not really practical in hindsight. As I'll have about 2 weeks and won't spend all that time at one DZ. I was thinking of going to AZ and SoCal. Or Florida. However, NWFlyer suggested a boogie in Oregon. That sounds nice too...plus they'll probably have cooler temps. Even though anything below 130 will be cool to me at the time . So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to go where there will be lots of people. I enjoy meeting new peeps. Elsinore ...can't believe I didn't put that one on there. However, Perris kind of includes any other DZ in the area. As it'll probably be for 2 weeks and I doubt I'll stay at one particular DZ for the entire time. Hmm...maybe thats an idea...just drive around and hit as many DZs as possible..... That's also a big thing I'll look for. I'd really like to meet more of you guys/gals.

It'd feel like "home" to me . I'm sure Lisa wouldn't be thrilled about that kind of heat. Oregon....there is a possibility that I'll get moved to Washington next year....so it'd be nice to see the area. Plus it would be nice to go where a lot of dz.commers will be. That was probably the best thing (besides jumping) about going down to Deland. Meeting you and a couple of others. Hmm....tempting. Thanks

I should be getting back to the states sometime in Aug (looks like Mid Aug) and am going to start planning what to do while on leave. Okay, I haven't jumped since Feb and thats #1 on the list. But, I'd also like to have other possibilities, i.e. explore the desert out in AZ , all the stuff in south Florida, and well what ever there is to do in Cali. I figure that I should be on leave from around 20 Aug-1 Sept. I would think that I've missed most boggies with these date? If not let me know, I'd love to hit up a boogie...as it looks like I missed out this year. Anyway, like a few other polls...vote for what I'm gonna do while on leave.
