    They had a reverse bungee (a ball like cage you sit in) at the casino in the town i used to live in a few years ago, and the guy there said it was something like 6g acceleration. But im thinking that BASE might have been a bit more to get him extra altitude... Some dream of flying, i live the dream...

    Even though i am just starting to get involved in canopy swooping, and it will be years before i can even think of doing what serious swoopers are doing... Moot point or not, i agree with one canopy per competition, first i think it allows more people to get involved in the competitive side of swooping. Second, shouldnt a "Canopy Pilot" be successful/good at all the disciplines in swooping under the same canopy? Surely this would prove who the better pilot is? After all it shows control of all aspects of the canopy, does it not? Some dream of flying, i live the dream...

    you have to drink it right though: Teaspoon of sugar, dip it in the shot of absynth, light it, let burning sugar/absynth drip into shot for a few seconds, stir rest of sugar in shot, blow out flame, drink, stick hand on glass, suck alcohol fumes out glass between thumb and fore finger when you feel the pressure build up. 3 shots and game over!     I think sugar is a big contributing factor to hangovers,like mixers with vodka/any spirits. Second biggest cause of hangovers is dehydration. Have a pint (500ml) of water, or 2 if you can before you go to bed, and you wont wake up with a hangover. You might still be pissed (especially if you had wine), but you won't have a hangover! The most evil of all drinks has to be Absynth! That stuff really makes you bonkers! And has a wicked hangover. Some dream of flying, i live the dream...

    Until recently (only a few years back) it was largely believed that great whites cant jump out of the water, until someone showed video evidence of it.     Agreed, i have a Sabre 1 though, which has a shorter recovery arc than the Sabre2. Thats pretty much why my canopy coach said i should stay on my Sabre1 135 for now. That was my theory too, but if i dont listen to my coach, he wont be my coach anymore... added: he is the only canopy coach on my dz Some dream of flying, i live the dream...

    My canopy coach said the same thing about canopies when i wanted to get a xf2 139 that i saw second hand. He said swooping is about learning the aerodynamics of a canopy first, and i would be surprised how much i can get out of my Sabre 135. Some dream of flying, i live the dream...

    go to the us for a skydiving holiday, even if its only for a week, if you buying Javelin, you will love Skydive City (Z-Hills),its awesome and the Sunpath factory is on the dz.... So is Tony Suits if you want a jump suit... Some dream of flying, i live the dream...

    When someone else pays for your slot thus giving you a "free" jump. Hence the term, freeflying.
